The building is historical and used to be Olean brewing company prior to prohibition. They redid this place so well while keeping original things. Jarrod, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable and passionate about the brewery, history, science, product, and community involvement. He gave us an amazing tour and offered to take pictures of us in the brewery. The food is unique and delicious. Just like the beer menu the food menu is limited, but extremely high quality. What they do do they do flawlessly. The inside restaurant, beer garden, land scape, and brewery itself were immaculately clean. There is a 2nd floor to rent Everyone was friendly, fast, knowledgeable, and happy to be there. A real all genders, ages, races, incomes... welcome type place.

Love the hay bails and roof over top of them for hot summer days. Bet it would be an excellent fall stop. Anyway, they lose some stars because the bar tended didn't seem to know anything about beer or the beers they were serving. I was disappointed in her answers to me and instead she was trying to see me in a mimosa bar. The mimosa bar is a nice idea, but it's at a side table far from the bar and it seemed like that fruit was sitting there all day and getting buggy. Lastly the smell of the bathroom or is it the pipes.... It's undescribable. It's putrid and you can totally smell it close to the mimosa bar as you're getting closer to the bathroom area. They really need to do something about that. We were there two hours and the smell never got better so it's got some kind of plumbing issue.. The Reuben was ok, instead of the tangier russian dressing I'm used to this one was more straight mayo based so the flavors weren't what I was expecting. The marbled rye could have been buttered a little more when toasted as well. The amount of meat that it came with though was great and quite hefty. Both sandwiches also came with coleslaw and a pickle spear. The slaw was vinegar based and cut through the heaviness of the meat. I wish the pickle was more crispy though. All in all, a relaxed spot for lunch with good drink but ok food.

Ciders wise, here are two that you HAVE to try, that aren't sold by the can or anything, the Tart Cherry. (#7) and the Squeeze it Peazy (#9). My friend and I ordered several flights (4 drinks x 4 oz = $8) and enjoyed ourselves. Between the Tart Cherry and the Queen of Tarts, I definitely preferred the cherry.
