We come here every time we visit family in oak park. Super laid back and casual spot with tons of beer (and ciders and what not). Dogs are allowed here and you can bring your own food in. They have lots of board games and music too. Highly recommend if looking to try some new beer and chat with locals.

Great selection in their fridges with the some available as singles. They've also got about 20 beers on taps and they highlight the best of local beer. It's a great place to duck-in if you want to grab a good brew, but my only dock to it is that it can be a bit more expensive then some other places.

We really loved this place when it opened, but now it feels overrun with dogs. It is now less of a beer shop and more of a dog bar.

Video board beer menu for the taps is fun, a larger variety of sizes might be nice. Service is friendly, but slow.

Nice place to bring your dog, or after coming home from work on the Metra to try some great Chicagoland area brews.

My friends and I have attended a few of their regional wine classes and really enjoyed the knowledge shared and the company of others interested in Italian wines. And sitting at an outside table with friends is my favorite thing to do on a sunny afternoon. My partner recently purchased a substitute for chartreuse from Portland there, which he is enjoying immensely, and we found a bottle of white port last time we were in which was a lovely change. Highly recommend for customer service, atmosphere and selection.

If you're a sweet wine drinker, like myself this might not be the wine shop for you. I was still able to enjoy the experience to Sip, Savor and Share the rich taste of some fine wines. They have an outside patio to sit out in the front on those beautiful summer days. Where you can sit under the umbrella, relax and sip on a crispy glass of wine. There is a monthly wine class for those who want to know more about Italian wines. It's nice to have a wine shop in the neighborhood that serves unique and different selections of wines. The service for me was nice. I was able to get knowledge and history on each wine. The experience felt like an imaginary trip to France or Italy.

Even if you choose all the right options, there's no telling if a family get-together will end pleasantly or in a hide the knives scenario. This year erred toward a hide the knives kind of night, by the time I left I was in need of a drink (or three). After a failed booze run to TJ's, I headed for home racking my brain for a liquor store that might be open on Christmas. Fortunately, like a beacon, the lights of USA Beverage called out to me. The store isn't huge, but it has a decent selection of beer. You'll find a nice array of domestics in bottles, cans, sixers and cases. If you're on the hunt for craft beer or imports, you'll probably be disappointed; the selection was mostly mainstream brands like Sierra Nevada, Goose Island and Guinness. I was hoping to pick up some Strongbow, but didn't see it or any hard ciders. The one thing I didn't like was that there weren't prices next to many of the items. This place is convenient, but when I'm not on the hunt for emergency booze, I'd probably head over to Famous. They have a much more robust selection.
