This tavern is located on a street corner across from our Airbnb, in the heart of the city; a "walkable" location in Binghamton. I noticed an outdoor seating area, but there were no guests outside and the heaters were not lit. The staff inside were friendly and quick when we picked up. And get this...I think our wait times from order to pick up was 20 min...Super fast! The only reason I didn't offer 5 stars was that the wings are actually on the small side and one order costs over $15 (seems a little expensive for just 10 wings). We ordered 1 1/2 orders for the 2 of us. That said, I would definitely order again from Peterson's because the service & quality of the food was great. When my wife was done with her steak that she cut with a pairing knife I noticed she didn't need her potatoes or vegetables and I said what was wrong with the potatoes and vegetables and she said to me that they too were gross. We will come here for work recognition everts and they always accommodate us, often at the last minute. The staff has always been top notch and the food is great. Burgers, wings, pizza always well executed. I give them 5 stars because they do the sports bar thing to perfection. Lots of big TV screens so whatever sport is going on, you can see it. They have an outdoor seating area that's open in the warm weather months and they usually have a great band or entertainment. The Dugout has been in our Saturday date night rotation for more than a decade and it is a great solid establishment. And oh by the way, it's the least expensive restaurant we frequent so the experience per dollar can't be beat.
