This was the best hair removal experience I've ever had! This isn't my first rodeo with Brazilian waxing. However, this was my first sugared experience. The outcome? I'm in love! I had read about sugaring as a hair removal form in beauty magazines but never thought to try it until they popped up on my yelp from a wax service search. Why not give something new a try? What a blessing it was to find out real facts about sugaring, and this salon in general! The staff is so welcoming, the salon is gorgeous, clean and in a great location (yay for a parking lot right off PCH), and their services are amazing! This place is amazing. I came here after I had a negative experience at another sugaring place and right away I felt so comfortable. They greeted me as soon as I entered, asked if I needed anything. This place is clean and really nice, especially the restroom, I'm huge on clean restrooms. While getting services, you have your own personal room, the door closes and some light jams play while getting ready prepared. Amber (my sugaring girl) makes me feel at home, we chat as if we've been friends for ages, she answers any questions or concerns I may have. I consider BeeSugared 'one of the good ones' and I definitely recommend. *very professional and kind service *know what they are doing and don't make it painful or super long *nice building *reasonable prices (plus they do specials every now and again that make it worth it and they have a monthly plan if you go often) *they offer wine while you wait (well they did the first time for me but not the second. I'm not sure if that's because they only do it the first time or the person in front. maybe someone here knows) and let you choose your music, etc. ahead of time. I came for the groupon because it was a screamin deal for Brazilian in the buff sugaring. Both experiences were with Ciera and very positive. Some things I don't mind at all but some people may want to know beforehand: - first timers have a page of info to fill out and sign; I think this is partially because they serve wine so it's worth the trade off. - a little on the smaller side, but I find it cozy and cute. - if you are not from Newport it can be a bit inconvenient to get to but not super terrible especially if you are used to it. read more

Really wanted to like this place, but I was less than impressed. The girls who work here are super sweet, don't get me wrong. I'm more disappointed in the technique and pricing. I got the Groupon for two Brazilians. The sugaring here is the most painful out of 4 places I've been to. After my first appointment, my ingrown hairs got worse, which is strange because sugaring is supposed to do the opposite. I remembered the lady telling me I could pay the difference to get the deluxe next time. The deluxe is supposed to help with ingrown hairs. All it was was a warm steamer applied for a few minutes and then an exfoliation. Totally could've done that at home. Plus, when the first woman who helped me told me I could pay the difference, I assumed she meant the $15 from regular to deluxe. Turns out I had to pay $40 extra -_- They charged me the difference from the Groupon price to deluxe. What's the point of Groupon then? And as I mentioned, deluxe wasn't even that special. My search for favorite sugaring place continues... *UPDATE: Amanda called me the same day I posted my review to help fix the payment issue & clear up other questions. I read about sugaring from time to time over the years but the reviews for BeeSugared coupled with its super convenient location convinced me to drop by and check it out. So glad I did!
