Cozy hometown restaurant! Food and service is always good. They also have a large bar area in a separate section. We were greeted and seated as soon as we arrived. Our waitress was attentive throughout our time there. We started out with the zucchini planks for an appetizer and they were good. We all enjoyed them. You know, when my daughter was a baby her dad and I would come here often. It's one of those kinda generic-decor, suburban neighborhood places that families go to on Friday for dinner. The food used to be really good. Heck, I remember when they were just starting out as just a pizza shop. Food was delish. Now I'd say it's just ok. Not bad. Not spectacular. More generic, like the decor. I used to love the calzones and salads but these days everything just tastes very institutional. We have been here many times for lunch and dinner but there is always something new being offered. We stopped in for an early dinner while in the area since don't live local anymore. On their seasonal menu they had a large pretzel and beer cheese which was so good, especially the cheese sauce. We decided to share a pizza and some pasta. The homemade alfredo with seafood was so flavorful. We had a slight glitch with our pizza order, the kitchen messed up the ingredients but happily fixed it without an issue. It was also very tasty. Our waitress was great, very attentive and personable. Their french onion soup was very rich, delicious and cheesy. It also had the perfect amount of croutons. This place was amazing for a big group outing. They offer such a variety of options to choose from. The server was very patient and kind. We each other different things and shared. We first shared the zucchini planks $8 which was a very good price. I got the Buffalo chicken wrap and it comes with chips for $11. I would say, I think they need to use cheddar cheese and not mozzarella. Crab Cake Portobello was the most delicious I ever gotten. It was so filling, I could have ate that as a meal. It was only $14! I'm glad they were able to have some left. My friend got the medium spinach white pizza $17, it was delicious. The grilled chicken salad was on the pricier side for $17. My girlfriend and I stopped here for lunch since I had recently heard about it. The place is small with tables and booths scattered throughout. They have a daily lunch special menu in addition to their regular menus. I didn't see the chef's entrees except outside before we came in. Just as well, we had our minds set on the French onion soup. We each ordered that along with the fish, shrimp, fries and coleslaw daily special. The soup was piping hot and seasoned just right. We were both very pleased with it. The lunch portion size of the fish, shrimp, and sides was generous. The shrimp is such that you can eat the entire shrimp and not worry about the tail. The fish was quite good and along with the fries very filling. I noticed on the check that they charge you a 3% surcharge if paying by card. I also noticed that they do charge you for extra sauces. In our case we had tartar sauce for the fish and cocktail sauce for the shrimp. We didn't see that noted on the menu but for future reference we won't order both. The charge is $.50 per extra sauce requested. Beez is located directly behind Portman's market in a small wooden strip mall. There's plenty of onsite parking. Definitely wish to try out one of their chef's entrees in the near future. read more

On Wednesday October 29th , myself and two others dined at the bees for dinner. The place was not busy , only one other table seated in the dining area. I ordered the Lobster Pot expected to pay $30 for it , when the bill came back I was charged $32 . I ordered an iced tea, did not even get a refill , I was charged for two Iced Teas at $3 a piece . When I mentioned the overpriced Lobster Pot to the waitress she replied that the computer keeps doing that to the Lobster Pot meal, which let me know that she should have been on the lookout for that registered computer error, but she didn't . She did correct the price. When I mentioned that she charged me for two iced teas, when I only had one , she said she would take the extra iced tea off . Ordered a dinner Ceasar Salad come to find out that it was soggy as they pre-mixed the dressing in. Apparently, they only serve dressings for salads on the side for everything BUT Ceasar Salad. Again, this was very dissatisfying cause it causes the romaine to become soggy! I like anchovies, but the item description on the menu does not say it comes with anchovies on top. I had visited Bee'z in 1996. So when our four person golf group visited top golf I asked to group to try this place. My gps took me to another option on top of the hill, and that restaurant was super busy, but as the other car made it to the correct location we joined them as planned. Not a friendly place for a handicapped Korean War Veteran. Took my dad there today and we were denied a table. We were told only option available to us was a booth . When finally got my dad seated, the waitress who was incredibly rude and told my father that his walker was in the way and would have to be moved to the front of the restaurant. I told her absolutely Not! And reminded her that he is handicapped . She told us that he was blocking an emergency exit. Which actually was a service door to the bar. I love Bee'z. The food is great, it is small but we always manage to get seated. Takeout is great too. I highly recommend any of the Chef Specials. The Pub has great house drinks and is a nice place to meet friends. My only negative is that they have a trivia night which they say you need no reservations. We went and all tables were reserved so we couldn't participate. I tried to get reservations and was told I couldn't. A manager called me and said he would call back to get me reservations but I never heard back. If they say no reservations are needed, they should really adhere to that. This was my second trip to Beez. This is a nicely tucked out of the way place in Bridgeville, not too far from 79. Extensive menu with wings, burgers, pasta, sandwiches/subs, and specials. My wife and I have eaten on the bar side during both visits. First visit we had wings. This time I had a meatball sandwich and my wife had an Italian sub. Both were decent sizes and tasty. Sandwiches only come with chips so we ordered fries which was a small portion size for two. We both had a few drinks which were fairly priced as well. Waitress was pretty good and attentive. There was a slight delay in receiving our drinks but not glaring. If you are looking for a good bite to eat in the Bridgeville area I definitely recommend Beez. It's a solid stop. read more

I ordered a delivery order of the penne with mushroom cream sauce from here tonight. When I got my food there was no sauce on my pasta. It was a container of wet pasta with some water in the bottom and a couple tiny pieces of mushroom. I have ordered the same thing from Beez before and it was good. Not today though. I called the restaurant and the receptionist told me there was nothing she could do because the owner Eric would have to take care of this, but he was busy. I had to throw away my whole meal. It was gross. Plain wet pasta with no sauce. I was told Eric would be calling me to fix this. Eric has not called. A nice, low key meal spot in Bridgeville. Servings are pretty generous - I definitely always have leftovers to take home for a second meal. Last time we visited, we got the Jalapeño Poppers, Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, And Spicy Cajun Steak Hoagie. Steak hoagie wasn't spicy, but the sandwich was good - just needed to add a big of sauce to give it some extra flavor! I was a big fan of the buffalo chicken sandwich as well - they gave you four big pieces of nicely prepared buffalo chicken tenders on the sandwich, the usual fixins, and onion rings! Prices are super reasonable too, and they have some pretty fun looking drinks! Service is pleasant and although we haven't been here on a super crowded night (we have only come ok Tuesday or Wednesday evenings), there were still a decent number of people around to create a pleasant atmosphere! read more
