I tried this location for the first time last night for my birthday dinner. We were seated promptly. The restaurant is divided into 3 sections - bar, patio, and restaurant. Unfortunately, we were seated in the only area where we couldn't do any of the happy hour specials - kind of a bummer. My meal was the eggplant Parmesan and it was filling enough for 2 meals. I was given a free dessert for my birthday, and I chose the chocolate gelato. It was delicious! My husband had the ravioli and ate it all. We also had bread and dipping oil at the table. The restaurant is kid friendly which would be great for other times but I was a bit disappointed when they sat a family with 2 fussy kids right beside us. We stopped by after hiking and found this place on yelp. We walked in and immediately got a spot at the bar. The service wasn't too bad, but it was pretty busy. Great atmosphere and a little more dressy than we would've imagined. Nice place and the food was really good. The blackened chicken wasn't too spicy and the Alfredo was very good without being too cheesy. The Florentino was really good as well. Filled with veggies and a lot of shrimp. Very flavorful. I've been to PP in Market District, so was thrilled to see a new location in Bridgeville. We made a reservation for a Tuesday evening. Our server was awesome (woman; name began with a J). But, this place is clearly just trying to earn a buck by smooshing tables so close together. You have zero space if you're in one of the middle dining tables. That was kind of annoying. We started with the crab and artichoke dip; delicious, but needs to be served with something other than bread. My husband and I both got pizzas, both of which were awesome. We ended with me having the limoncello (WAY more grain alcohol tasting than most limoncellos of its kind) and he had the Tiramisu. We needed boxes for the appetizer and the pizzas, and since we were seated at a 2 person table, there was zero room for our pizzas and no bag big enough to fit them. So, I put them on the table next to us. The hostess came over and asked if they were our pizzas and I said yes. She said "would you mind moving them? We are going to seat this 4 top. You can put them on the floor." I was like well, no, I'm not going to put my food on the floor. So she said she could hold them at the front. HUGE strike in my opinion. You don't tell a patron to put their food on the floor. Your hostesses need more training. The food here is good, but it's a bit overpriced, and so this is a "once in awhile" kind of joint. My friends and I chose Pizzaiolo Primo in South Fayette for a recent girls night/happy hour. This location had a special happy hour menu that runs from 4-6pm Monday through Friday and includes several $10 pizzas and appetizers along with $5 glasses of wine. We sat at the bar, though they do have three 4-top high top tables and three 2-top high top tables that are within the bar area, as well. They have a dining room adjacent to the bar. Our bartender was super friendly, funny, and quick to take our orders. We decided to share everything we ordered and couldn't decide on which apps. So, we ended up getting everything besides the mushroom pizza along with a few glasses of wine. The food came out quickly and was delicious. The pizza crust had that wood fire chew to it, the meatballs were hearty and fresh, the calamari had a great crunch and the marinara wasn't too sweet. We initially had went to a different restaurant and it had a long wait and this place was only a short walk across the parking lot so we tried it out and i am so glad we did! We didn't have reservations on a Friday night but we're surprisingly seated right away! That was a great start, until we sat there for about 10-15 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. Even more annoyingly, both tables next to us were seated after us and waited on before us. I've been to Il Pizziolo in Wexford so I was excited to check out the new Pizzaiolo location in south fayette. What a great location! Super beautiful inside, clean! The others in my party ordered soups, which all looked good. One who ordered a daily soup special said hers was not hot though. Three of us got pizzas, and one got a salad. I got the diavola. It was good! Could have been spicier in my opinion. I think this place is insanely overpriced and I'd rather frequent my neighborhood Italian restaurant or other upscale pizza shops. $26 for a wood fired pizza is crazy to me. Hubby was wanting brick oven pizza so we decided to make a trip. We are super early eaters so there was nobody at the bar when we arrived. Happy hour begins at 3:30pm, perfect. Service at the bar was good. We got the zucchini, it was fried perfectly & the sauce was amazing. We decided on the 10.00 happy hour pizza. It was way more than enough for us to share. I would have preferred it a little more cooked but was great. Only compliant is I would have liked some cheese or hot peppers right when my pizza was dropped but there wasn't a bartender around due to it getting busy. I did opt for a 9.00 cab but then the other bartender told me they had 5.00 happy hour blend that was good. For the price, it was amazing. My wife and I dined here after attending a township meeting. We had reservations and were greeted by a friendly staff member who took us to our seats outside. We both ordered a Caesar salad, didn't forget the white anchovies, she ordered the appetizer stuffed peppers for her entree and I ordered the bolognese for my entree. We were very happy with our Caesar which tasted amazing and the bolognese was the very best I've ever had before. We definitely recommend Pizzaiola for a great meal. Hello to all!! Thursday was date night. We decided to to try Ohio's place since it is literally 5 minutes from home. We did not know what to expect , you have to make a reservation.The restaurant was very clean but we wanted to eat outside . Our Waitress Ava was very nice and attentive. The food was amazing. My wife had the chicken piccata , excellent!! I had the Swordfish on a bed of potato hash. To be honest it's pricy but what isn't today. Price and service/atmosphere don't match here. First, prices are high, so you come in with the expectation of an experience to justify those prices. I had a reservation for two at 5:30 on Super Bowl Sunday to catch up with a friend (neither of us cared about the game). Upon arrival, my friend (who arrives first) was told that we were the last reservation of the evening, and that the kitchen was closing at 6. Why didn't they contact me in advance to tell me that? We would've gone elsewhere if we had known. We were seated at a high top in the bar area (there only a few other tables being used in the entire place). Staff gathered two tables over, constantly shooting looks our way. It was incredibly uncomfortable. The food was good (I had the branzino) but didn't knock our socks off and didn't seem worth the price. There's no bread service and drink prices are also quite high. The number one problem was how uncomfortable we were for what was supposed to be a nice dinner. New Year's Day, 2026. First time at this establishment. My parents and I were at the meadows casino and we definitely knew we needed to get some grub on our 1 hour trip back home. We ordered three craft beers on draft, got the arancini as an appetizer, my mother got fettuccine Alfredo with crispy chicken, and a cup of wedding soup, my father got jumbo lump crab cakes and substituted gnocchi marinara for the side. And I got cacio e Pepe pasta. I have to say. Despite being a bit steep in price (the bill between the three of us was well over 100 bucks). It was absolutely worth every single penny! And our server Anne was beyond amazing too. Super attentive, super nice, everything there just awesome! Cannot wait to return! read more

This is definitely a place that we want to stick around in the Bridgeville/South Fayette area. The place had some usual start-up issues, but they have smoothed them out. The food is great. Our party of 6 recently dined here for the first time. Although the food was just ok, it was overpriced for what we ate. The drinks which were refilled many times were NOT unlimited. We paid for every refill. The appetizer we requested which was on the menu, we were told they didn't have it so we opted for the calamari w/hot peppers. It was ok, no tentacle!! The pasta was ok, but make no mistake about it no-one needed a doggie bag. Dessert was meh...The tiramis had no more than a total of 6 ladyfingers..all crème. Didn't taste right..the pumpkin cannoli was ok, the Pumpkin cheesecake was good as well as the break pudding. My hubby and my bill was over $105.00. We won't be back. Lunch menu is not available on the weekends so you have to pay the high dinner menu prices even if having lunch on Saturday or Sunday. $27 for bolognese, $20 for a pizza, $24 for fettuccini Alfredo, $27 for rigatoni and meatballs. My mom ordered hot tea (which was just a Lipton tea bag) and got a refill and was charged for two. They should have given a free refill when it's just hot water and a tea bag. read more

Great food and staff! We planned a late dinner for my daughter's high school graduation and the staff helped us accomplish a nearly impossible dinner for 13. The food was fantastic. Took my girlfriend here for her birthday a couple of weeks ago. We love the Pittsburgh location, so we thought we would try this one. Our server was super attentive, as was every other worker we encountered. Everyone was super friendly. Because I don't plan ahead, I made an impromptu request to see if they could pull together something for her birthday. They gave us a complimentary cannoli with a nice "happy birthday" in chocolate. New addition in South Fayette. We have now been here more than 5 times, as we live in SF. I may be done coming here. I thought I would give them a chance, to work out the kinks, since they're new. They have yet to get our bill correct, and tend to overcharge. They ran out of Cabernet 3 weeks ago. 2 weeks ago, they still didn't have any. So, this evening, I ordered the red blend. The first glass was really good. Unfortunately, after that , we were told they ran out of the red blend. Again, as a new business, in a complex with other restaurant options, you need to do better if you're going to make it. Ok, one last comment, apparently, if you pay with cash, they don't have coins in their register. The bartender very politely apologized, then said you can talk to my manager.
