It was a very fast and proffessional service. *** My review is about the customer service of auto tek and NOT about their products. Back in March (2016) I brought my car in to get it tinted. Total 5 windows tinted. Goes as planned and they finished in about 3.5 hours, excellent. 2 days later the back tint starts to roll. I go back to the shop and have them fix the problem. While fixing the problem, they noticed a defect on the left tint and decide to re do it. A week later and I notice small particles trapped under the tinting of the side tint and also some air pockets from the back tint. I bring it BACK to the shop but they said I need to set up an appointment almost a month later to get it fixed. During the examination of the defects one of the guys said he'd rather not have to redo the back window.. And rather leave the particles trapped between the tinting. (They eventually redid them both.) I left with my appointment scheduled and I went back in May. They finished in about 2 hours but the amount of scratches on my rear brake lights is unbearable. to this day I have not returned to get it fixed. But there are still some tiny bubbles on the back window.

The first time…read moreI had Cquartz finest installed and a partial clear bra. 3 years later, I had them do some more correction and then install Modesta BC-04 (better than Cquartz) and then do a full hood, bumper, side fenders, side view mirrors, and the lip underneath the trunk opening. I researched everything online from C-Quartz, Modesta, Paint Correction, Wraps...you name it. Needless to say it can be confusing, frustrating and overwhelming with all of the different products available on the market. Then, I came across Jean-Claude with DD Auto Spa and thank goodness I did. I met him at his shop one afternoon and he explained all of my options and the pros and cons of each. Since I had done so much research, he was extremely patient and forthcoming with his recommendations, but never ever pushed anything on me. After some time to absorb after our initial meeting, I decided going for the full car coverage of XPEL Stealth Film. Now, while it may cost more up front, it was worth the investment knowing I will hold on to this car long-term and this was the most protective, yet least maintenance option and gave me the look I was going for. Initially it was estimated 5 full days for install, but after they started tearing down and installing the first panels, it ended up taking another week, but JC kept me up to speed with his daily progress and was always in constant contact. While that could be upsetting for some, to me it said that this is a person who is not rushing through just to get paid and move onto their next job. When he does it, he does it right and will NOT compromise quality for quantity. Truly hard to find that type of dedication these days. When I picked up my car today, we went over every part meticulously. JC pointed out spots that contained some pockets of air, but that they should work themselves out while the film settles in. We scheduled a follow up call a few weeks out to assess any concerns or areas that may need attention. If you want a first class auto detailer, you must call Jean-Claude as I could not be happier with his professional crew or outcome of my six! He is horrible and his workmanship is too. I honestly think these reviews come from a google algorithm he purchased. I was told of a few things he'd be able to including the windshield of my vehicle and after keeping my car for six days overnight - he didn't. I found this out at pick up. Prior to dropping my car off, I told him my expectations and how I pay attention to detail regarding my vehicle. I made a comment that if you see anything, PLEASE let me know prior to wrapping as this is a brand new car with 200 miles on it. When I went to pick my vehicle up there was a chip in the paint on hood from a rock that he covered up with wrap. The windshield tint wasn't done and the wrap wasn't completed on parts of my car. The tint on the windows wasn't properly applied and it wasn't machine cut as he indicated it would be so it looked HORRIBLE! AFTER SIX DAYS! AFTER SIX DAYS OF HAVING MY CAR!! Like wth were you doing? Your reasoning for having my car that long was because YOU like to pay attention to detail, but you didn't. You mentioned you liked to TUCK all of the wrap, but it wasn't! I talked to him about the deficiencies of the job and he told me he would refund me the portion he didn't do! He took $300 off because he didn't want me to make a review, AS HE INDICATED. When I left, I thought the car was in much better shape than what the naked eye could see. Here we are two months later and I can see everything only after putting an additional 350 miles on my car. The wrap on my wing is spotted and the cheap ass 3M wrap around my car is peeling off because he DIDN'T tuck the wrap as he indicated and he had his employee do this botch job. Again, THIS MAN SAID ALL OF MY WRAP IS TUCKED SO THERE WON'T BE ANY LINES!! (That's why I thought he'd needed the car for so long because my other vehicles took a day and they were bigger) So now I have to get ALL of this pulled off and redone because he is not answering calls or responding to text messages! So, I'm out 3k to get this done because of this bad job when I should have been refunded for the whole thing at the start - LIKE I ASKED. This man did nothing right with my wrap, NOTHING. The front tint had to be done over because of the imperfect cut, the hood had to be done over because he wrapped over a rock chip! *sigh. Now my whole vehicle has to be wrapped again. Whew! Jesus be a fence. This was just a trash trash TRASH experience! Trust me, he knows it! Thank GOD for my bank. Back to TINT WORLD I go! I should have stuck with Tint World, but this guy had so many great reviews and the prices were cheaper! I guess this is what I get! Botched reviews, botched service! After that the car AC stopped working and acting strange. Brought it back and was told to replace the entire AC system for another 5.5k. I was then referred to David Mai at Solo Motorsport by a relative. He tested it for a day. Found a coolant reservoir was bone dry. Cleaned it and filled it up. Gave me some decent advice…read more In terms of the diagnosis on what needed to be done on the car, they spotted some issues I wasn't aware of and that was helpful. The issue here was what I was quoted for on repairs. Extremely expensive... for example my A/C was not working as there was a leak in the condenser. They quoted me $849.35 to repair the A/C, replace condenser, relay, and charge air conditioning system. I fixed the A/C for less than $80... bought a condenser for $25 and the charge for the A/C for less than like $15 and i was able to replace the condenser in less than 3 hours... They never worked on my car so I can't speak on what they are capable of but in terms of trust. I would be careful and get second opinions.
