Walked in intending to order a sandwich. The big menu board on the wall has a sign on it that says "this menu is outdated-sorry". I ordered an Italian Beef with mozzarella, thinking the prices had probably just gone up a little. The menu price was $6.29 (plus the cheese). This ONE SANDWICH rang up at $17.19 with tax. There is no way I'm paying $17 for an Italian Beef. I asked if they have any updates menus and also got a "sorry, no". How do they expect customers to order if they don't have current menus?! Again, My MOM loved this place. When I was younger I preferred a personal pan Pizza from Pizza Hut, while everyone else was eating Beggar's. Now that I'm an adult I hardly ever eat Pizza Hut anymore. However, when I'm hungry NOW and a Beggar's is nearby, Beggar's will more than likely be my first or 2nd choice. The Pizza is good, I don't have any complaints about it. It has the perfect amount of flavor and cheese and they offer thin or Stuffed... and when it comes to toppings, THEY LAY IT ON THICK :) The service at beggars is ok, it's what you would expect from a Pizza Chain, yet I've never experienced BAD service at a Beggar's. The ABSOLUTE worst dining experience of my life. The only time I've had to get up, cancel outstanding orders and walk out. Server was very uninformed and unfriendly. We were informed that prices had gone up and the menu was out of date but no new menus were available. Everything we tried to order was either out or substantially more pricey than the menu suggested. We got the distinct impression that the staff didn't want us there. UPDATE: After I placed my complaint with Beggar's regarding my experience with this location, I received a call from the general manager. She expressed great regret for my bad experience and apologized profusely. She also said that the individuals who chose not to take my order were disciplined (fired) and gave me a credit for a free pizza within the next year. I think it is only fair that I add to my review that this company took the effort to make good on my complaint, and I greatly appreciate their effort to do so. I will give this establishment another chance because they did take my experience seriously and dealt with it accordingly.
