I have truly never felt care like I have in this office. When I was looking for a chiropractor I was looking for someone more tech forward. I didn't want to lie on a table and have someone crack me to no avail. The tech is a big reason why I decided to give this place a chance. But turns out, I was just out of alignment. My pain corrected almost instantly and I gained my balance back. Went here a while ago and really wanted to like the place. For the most part, I did. However, any place that makes you buy a package deal for chiropractic services is generally a red flag. I had an odd issue and told them that based on my symptoms I didnt feel the service would work, and they said I would get a refund on my unused treatments if I should decide to cancel. Their service made me worse so I opted to cancel. They failed to mention a $150 "adminstrative fee" for when you cancel. You can go see Dr Jeremy Kerrigan in Mesa for the same type of service, for less money, and no package deals. read more

A bad car accident that left me with a pinched nerve in my neck lead me to look for a new doctor because my chiropractor at the time couldn't relieve my pain. I waited to write this review because I wanted to be 10000% sure that I meant what I said, saw long term results etc. When I was reading all the five star reviews & seeing all the testimonials in the office.. it actually made me more skeptical. The opposite of their purpose, but everything just sounded too good to be true. These "miracles" and "nothing worked until this" sounded too good; fake. But now I'm one of those people saying finding this office & giving this chiropractic care a chance was a true miracle in my life. I was diagnosed with Ménière's Disease in August of 2022. I would wake up some days completely deaf in my right ear, and then other days it seemed normal. This had been happening since 2019 and my previous ENT brushed it off as allergies. But in July of 2022 my hearing stopped coming back. Some days I was completely deaf in that ear & other days it wasn't deaf but had this fullness feeling and my hearing was maybe 30%. Then I had my worst vertigo attack (I had some in 2019 but none like this) where I was just throwing up all night from the dizziness. I also had a new constant ringing in my ear, sometimes so loud it would give me panic attacks and I couldn't sleep. I found my new ENT who immediately diagnosed me with Ménière's disease (and ran some tests to be certain). He put me on daily diuretics & then steroids when it would get worse, but nothing ever completely cleared it up. I tried every supplement that any Google search or book or article recommended, tried low sodium, cut out caffeine.. and still didn't feel there was much improvement. Then on a Facebook Ménière's Disease page, I noticed people recommending upper cervical chiropractic care. I looked into it and could only find 2 in the Phoenix area that seemed to really mention on their website/specialize in upper cervical and Ménière's disease. My first appointment at Begin Within, I was extremely skeptical. I'm not going to lie to you, it seemed like a scam. I was thinking, the front desk ladies are waaaaaay too nice and then they put you in front of this video before the doctor comes in and there's testimonials hung all over the walls. It felt like something I saw in the Scientology documentary haha. Then the doctor came in and he was like no doctor I had ever talked to before. Dr Collins actually listened & didn't make me feel rushed or unheard. He said his wife also had Ménière's disease & I knew I was in the right place. Anyway, this is getting long so I'll get to my point. Even after going for 5 months, the doctors and front desk ladies are still as kind to me as day one. I thought they were just nice to the new clients until you buy the package & then they wouldn't treat you as good haha! Dr Collins always remembers everything about my personal life or things we have talked about. It's not cheap.. I think my 4 month package (which turned into 5 because I had to move some appointments) was around $3k but when you get a diagnosis like this, you'll try anything. You start by going 3 times a week, then 2 and hopefully it'll get to a point where I'm not going as often. He has mentioned once every few months so fingers crossed! The first maybe 2 months? I wasn't noticing a whole lot with improvements in my ear, but my neck and shoulder pain was definitely better. Then all of a sudden after an adjustment, I woke up the next morning and could hear like before I was ever diagnosed! It only stuck around for a day or so but as I continued going to the adjustments, the adjustments would hold longer & my hearing would stay good for longer. I was sick during January and missed almost 2 weeks of appointments, and my ear was great the entire time! And my ringing goes away too, which everything I ever read said there's just no treatment for that symptom. I was truly convinced when they would start telling me that I didn't need an adjustment that day because I was still in alignment & I hadn't even told them that my hearing was still good. Then when my hearing was bad, I also wouldn't say anything but they just knew I needed an alignment. They don't go based on what you say, they go based on what they see. And they're always spot on with how I'm feeling. Dr Nelson also does my adjustments when Dr Collins isn't there & he's just as great! I am happy seeing either one & trust them both completely with my chiropractic care. They remembered my name and my story from day one. I'm not just another number. Long review, but when I was doing my research.. I wanted to know it all. The most kind staff, the most welcoming office, & it really has bettered my quality of life. read more

I can't recommend Dr Collins and the team at Begin Within Family Wellness enough. I dealt with lower back issues for all of my adult life. Every year I'd experience a couple times where my back "went out" and I was incapacitated for a week or more. This would even happened when I was under traditional chiropractic care. Within a couple months of starting upper cervical treatment, my lower back issues went away and I've not had any more issues over the past couple years. I had also been dealing with digestion issues that were effecting my quality of life. This place is heaven on earth. I had a terrible back pain for more than a decade. I really loved this wellness center for multiple years and then I took a break for financial reasons, when I tried to schedule a few appointments thinking I was still a patient things apparently have changed and you must buy complete plans now for any care.
