I still would pay that not to have to iron a shirt. However even when I say I want my shirts laundered which is $3.30 they have been changing my shirts to dry clean at $9.00 each. Because it is a woman's shirt which they say is a blouse. Today I dropped off two blue jean shirts one woman's and one man's. The shirts are made out of the exact kind of fabric. They wanted to charge me $9.00 for the woman's shirt. Which is crazy. Why should I paid that much more for women's clothing when they are exactly alike. Don't go here if you are a woman. There is a dry cleaner in fern creek that will do just as good of job and not discriminate based on the sex of the wearer.

Drop off services were a hassle as well. There's no easy way to transport laundry baskets when you're in a wheelchair. Then I heard about Vogt the Cleaners and their pick up/drop off services. I'm picky about my laundry. One drop off service bleached my pink robe to a slightly off-white; another washed a red shirt in with the family's underwear. Whereas I didn't mind the pink bras and panties, I don't think my brother felt the same way about pink jockey shorts. It was a pleasure to find out that Vogt is equally picky. I simply replace my laundry in the bag and put the bin out on my front porch every Tuesday morning and it's returned on Thursday afternoon with everything fresh, clean and wonderfully folded. Clothes that should be on hangers are always on hangers. Is an absolute painless way to have wonderful laundry. The plans are reasonable, based on the number of your house home versus a certain poundage. Call them for the rates. They will keep your debit card on file to charge weekly and you can cancel service if/when you need to. Since I started using them months ago, there has been nothing improperly bleached and I've never had anything come back still stained. I really wish I knew their trick for folding T-shirts. They stay wrinkle free when I put them away. I really cannot recommend them highly enough. Call to get the rates and ask about any special concerns (allergy free detergent, special fabric softener, etc.)

They tear up more garments than any other cleaners I have experienced. They reuse the chemicals which is evident by the grey cast your clothes have after being dry cleaned. Their pickup/return times are ridiculous. They have taken advantage of being the only dry cleaner in Danville for several years. If you have a job that requires starched pressed shirts and/or you are maintaining a nice dress wardrobe this is not the place! After a number of years of struggling with this problem I started going to Newport cleaners in Brannon Crossing in Nicholasville Ky. I actually knew a group of Danville residents who took turns picking up and dropping off dry cleaning there. You can do the same amount of dry cleaning for at least half the price of Rainbow cleaners. If you value your fine garments and your wallet stay away from Rainbow cleaners.
