I was living with a heating pad and it was not helping. I decided to try a Chiropractor. I walked into his office in severe pain and walked out standing straight and in much less pain. To Doc Block, it's not about getting you to come in over and over, but to teach you proper body mechanics and exercises. The professionalism of the practitioners (known colloquially as Dr.'s J, D, and Q) is exemplary, as they explain the how's and why's of the effects of alignment on the body's health. The office itself is small, with the adjustment tables being separated from the waiting area (sporting the usual array of magazines for the adults, and a good-sized play area with plenty to keep even the most distracted child entertained) by a half wall and a fish tank. An automated system allows for a quick swipe with a key fob or card for check-in at both the front desk and the adjustment tables. They offer affordable care plans with different payment options, and, depending on which payment periodicity you choose, various discounts. I went in today feeling congested. The first visit was a group consultation, where Dr. J went over their philosophy and their methodology. The goal was to help us understand the importance of chiropractic care. The second visit was an information gathering session. Dr. J went over my health history and used a spinal scan to pick up areas of nervous system stress. Because of my history, I also got an x-ray as well. On the third visit, Dr. J went over his findings, first making sure I understood "normal" spine alignment and neurological activity. My results weren't so awesome, but I've had back pain for a while now. Dr. J didn't present any of the results as being "scary". Everything he explained seems resolvable as long as I put the time and effort into it. After that I had my first adjustment. I will be going to the Guilderland location from now on because I live in Albany, and the drive to Ballston Spa is a haul, but I would absolutely recommend the Ballston Spa location to anybody in the area.

Dr. Pete did a thorough evaluation and he came up with a plan to help me get more movement in my neck, and help with frequent headaches I suffered from for many years.
