Good food until they mess it up and you ask them to be accountable. It is Fourth of July weekend, my food took almost an hour and I live very close, then it was the wrong food. It's 9:30PM when my food arrived and I ordered at 8:30PM. It was the wrong food, it was lukewarm, and the egg roll was hard. They tell me I have to give the food back in order to get a refund. I say it's 10PM now, and that I won't be around tomorrow on the Fourth of July to bring back Chinese food and that it is a ridiculous request. He said the policy is you have to give the food back. Then he called the owner and told me the owner will SHOW UP TO MY HOUSE, to collect the food since I "won't do it". I said I will call the cops if he shows up. That is an intrusion of privacy and very bold, very legally grey as I never consented for that. It is 10PM at night and there is going to be a man I don't know, that owns the Chinese restaurant and won't give me my refund, that plans to show up to my house. Insane read more

This is by far the best Chinese take out I've had. I have no idea what any previous reviews stated but they stepped there game up and blow my mind every single time. When I first had the orange chicken it blew my mind and everytime I get it it's like it gets better. Love this place so much I had to create an account just to express my love for the cooks here. I saw this in Bushwick, and realized in most of the parts in New York City I'm in, there aren't that many Chinese-American restaurants. Anyway, it was average. This place has been around for yearsss. I would say they use to be better. I ordered a small shrimp fried rice (spicy) with broccoli, and it was just ok. It wasn't spicy or much taste. My mom got roast pork with Broccoli and brown rice and my sister got chicken wings with french fries. They both were ok too but also agreed the food doesn't taste like it use to. I know it's just a local Chinese shop, but when you're craving Chinese, you want it to be enjoyable and to not leave you feeling... ehhh. Also, upgrading the inside may help too. The food here is very good. I've never gotten an order that was overly greasy or anything. Occasionally, the sauce spills out of the container, but it's usually not too messy luckily. The veggies and meats taste pretty fresh. Whether in person or over the phone, the customer service is pretty good too. The delivery man is really sweet too. This is all so uncommon that it's totally disarming! They are closed on Sundays and Tuesdays, which could be seen as bad by some, but I like that the staff have some time off. I haven't been in the neighborhood that long so I'm not sure what this place was like before but it really deserves a better rating. It is quickly becoming a favorite for Asian food, seafood, and even American fried food. My girlfriend and I have been everywhere around Bushwick looking for shrimp and this place has by far the freshest and best prepared fried shrimp in the area. The quality is far and away the best. They also, surprisingly, have other great fried items as well like chicken tenders and very good French fries which are always hot and perfectly crispy. If we don't get the seafood I usually go for Chinese-American classics like general tso's, sweet and sour chicken, or chow mein, which are all good here. It's getting to the point though that we go here 2-3 times a week- seriously the food exceeds expectations and the quality seems a lot better than a lot of the other quick take-out places around. Last but not least, the employees are very nice and friendly. The woman up front always smiles and waves when we come in-- you really don't get that everywhere. Plus they seem to be taking the whole COVID thing very seriously which is reassuring to me (you can't say that about the pizza place next door!). Thanks for being in the neighborhood. read more

The BEST Chinese restaurant in the whole city! I've been visiting this place for years every weekend and I don't regret it. They have the best Chinese foods and every one of the soups is delicious! My favorite is the fish slices in pepper oil :) Have been eating it since high school and never get tired of it. Recently they added more foods like soup dumplings and fried noodles. Tasted divine. I lived across the street for a year and I've moved and I still order from them because nothing compares! My go to is the sesame chicken combo. To day we bought food from him and my heart was filled with happiness when I saw how he treated this woman who speaks to herself and yells. And he treated her the same as any other customer. Just had my order delivered and I'm really disappointed by what they've provided me. 1) The delivery timing was extremely punctual and the delivery guy was such a nice guy. 2) Shrimp and Broccoli was decent. No complaints there. 3) Ordered a Wonton Soup and... wow. I've never seen wonton soup broth the color of urine. I'm talking homeless man, haven't had a drink of water and can only drink Mountain Dew type of yellow urine. In my experience, wonton soup is supposed to be light, clean and punching you with flavor. The delivery was very speedy (yesterday). On GrubHub, it said it would take 60 minutes to make and deliver, but they came in 30 minutes (they do not update the time) so expect your phone call or door bell to ring earlier than expected. The shrimp in garlic sauce lunch special came with mixed vegetables and a pint of rice (I chose white rice). It was good and still super hot when it arrived. The beef with broccoli lunch special can come with pork fried rice, which I recommend. It also had other vegetables included, besides broccoli. I ordered fried bananas and they were darker (they look blackened to a char) than I expected and not too sweet. Lastly, the homemade lemonade has no lemon taste at all. With that said, it's become a weekend staple for Sunday nights when cooking just isn't an option and you're ramping up for a night of great television. Food is decent but they're very bad at communicating and unreliable. Have taken an hour and a half on occasion and consistently lie when you call to ask where your food is. Most recently, I rang after 50 minutes (when they said it would be 20 mins) and got told the delivery guy was 5 minutes away. Then after another 20 mins I called again, they told me they'd call him and call me back. They never called back, so I called again and this time she told me his bike broke, that he was outside and that the food got stolen. Then when I went outside and told them no one was there they hung up. When I rang again, they told me the guy was 5 minutes away and shouted down the phone at me. Worst customer service IN THE WORLD. Food is grand, this is our staple Chinese take away so definitely the best around where we live but I have had so many bad experiences in dealing with the staff. They never own up to their mistakes, they lie about where your food is, how long it will be etc. to such an extent that we were told, after waiting over an hour, and being told that it would be five minutes twice, that our food had been stolen. What?! We called back and the next person who answered (because the previous had hung up) said that no the food hasn't been stolen he's outside, which he wasn't, and then that he's on his way. Again. After a series of hang ups and miscommunications, I am still waiting for my food. I ordered almost 2 and a half hours ago, and the restaurant seems to really not give a shit about the fact that I haven't gotten my order yet. They told me the guy was on his way an hour ago, and I called recently for them to tell me that he is on his way still and they don't know what I want them to do. Just ordered in from here through delivery.com - sesame beef, shrimp fried rice, and singapore chow fun. They called me right after to notify me they would be using a substitute noodle instead of the chow fun since they were out, so... uhhhh???? I ended up getting what looks like vermicelli instead and I was a little disappointed and annoyed but it ended up being so delicious!
