Some of the most important meds I take to help keep me alive they don't have in stock, they say they have to order them. Trying not to be a "Pain" I don't call them I wait for them to call me. After a week ( or more) I call them and get some kind of lie or excuse and then tell me they need to be ordered AGAIN!! I am SO TIRED OF BEING TREATED THIS WAY!!! read more

I'm visiting the area and had my Dr. send my new prescription here. I've been on hold 16 minutes to see if they have my prescription ready (can't confirm through automated system because it's not a refill nor my pharmacy), someone will pick up & hit hold again with no explanation or greeting. Weird folk jazz playing on hold , someone picks up - straight back to crummy hold music. Going on 17 minutes of this nonsense. My goodness, I may hold off and ask my Dr. to send it somewhere less convenient tomorrow. Lol, it's as if they are the only pharmacy and want to abuse their power. I'll be taking my business elsewhere in less than 2 min. I'd advise to avoid this pharmacy at all costs & will reroute my own. read more

My jaw DROPPED at the experience I just had with this pharmacy. Save yourself a ton of time and frustration by going elsewhere. I contacted them a week ago to have an Rx transferred from Kaiser to them. The man told me he'd fax over the request. I checked back a week later and a woman named Amy (supposedly, I don't know for sure) told me there was no record of that and that I needed to call Kaiser to get the Rx transferred. So... I called Kaiser and they told me no, that the new pharmacy needed to CALL them. I call Amy back and she said that she didn't have time to call them (!!!!) and that she'd "try" faxing over the request again. I told her this was getting urgent since my Rx is running out at this point and I expressed my concern it would take too long because the original man told me Kaiser is slow to reply via fax. She said she "couldn't make any promises" and that I'd just have to "wait and see." She was SO abrupt and dismissive and had a "too bad so sad" sort of attitude. I don't get angry easily but this had me fuming! I would think they'd want the business? I guess not. Their hours are also super inconvenient and random fyi. I have shopped at Raley's and Bel Air my whole life and now won't be returning again after this experience. She was so disrespectful when I was being so polite and patient! They're so slow on filling prescriptions- Took a phone call- the an in person walk up in person 8 hours later to have them say "O -10 more minutes.. we were just filling the prescription"- Sure you were bud- you only decided to finally fill it because I came in face to face. You'd really think they'd take advantage of the Rite Aid next door closing and want to grab more business and properly staff and work a bit . Their hours are terrible also. Save your time and energy and go to Costco pharmacy. Because the staff was nice and maybe they didn't have the medication but they could've said that when I called just if it's something you're looking for more urgently, I would look elsewhere. They don't seem to carry much beyond old people drugs. read more

Never never again. While the pharmacist that reviewed my prescription was a very nice woman. The 2 gentlemen I had to deal with in the 6 hours it took to get my prescription both acted like someone crapped in the cereal this morning. I wasn't there to get advice on why I should have went to Kaiser or lied To about how the order had been just called in 20 minutes before. I had just had all my teeth pulled & don't care that one of them had been going to Kaiser their whole life when I explained I didnt feel up to standing in line at Kaiser pharmacy, While I am still bleeding out of both sides of my mouth. We had multiple prescriptions transferred to Bel Air Pharmacy in Gold River when the Rite Aid Pharmacy in Gold River closed. Perhaps we should have looked more carefully at pharmacies at that time, but Bel Air was close to home and we thought it would be convenient. Our experience with this pharmacy has been disappointing. The staff always act like they are in a rush (even when there are no other customers in line). They are unwilling to contact doctors' offices to get expired prescription refills --- and insist that we contact the doctors' offices instead. They will not set up auto refills on meds. They insist we must do it online, which we have been unsuccessful doing, because the site is difficult to navigate. Also, they often don't have one or more of our meds in stock and it takes a couple of days to get a refill. There are a lot of problems. The staff seem to generally have bad attitudes about helping customers. Maybe they are poorly trained -- or maybe they are not being paid enough. Maybe they just don't think providing decent customer service is part of the job. We are very disappointed. read more

Just got my prescription transferred here from Rite Aid and their service is so much better. The staff are very helpful and answered all of my questions. The transfer to a new pharmacy initially had me a little worried but this pharmacy made sure that it was very smooth. read more

My grandson's doctor called in a urgent prescription for him. I came by to get it and the pharmacy tech just looked at me casually said we don't have it in stock. Should be here by Monday or so. I was perturbed to say the least and asked him why they didn't tell the doctors office he didn't have it. Answer was unbelievable! "They didn't ask". In other "words we really don't care"! I will never step foot in a Belair/Raleys store again. The actions of your employees tell me all I need to know about this organization. Great store if you are not price sensitive. Great for convenience if you live nearby and only need a couple things. They do have competitive prices on a handful of items and carry a large selection of high quality goods. Sale prices can be good on another handful of items if you join the reward club but its very difficult and can be time consuming to clip the coupons on their mobile ap. They have self checkout available, so theres some possibility of short line to check out. Check out times are usually reasonable in self check out. Thorough selection of organic produce, but not lowest cost on those. read more

I don't know where this store thinks it is, but is by far the most expensive grocery store I've encountered in Sacramento. I know Bel Air has always been expenbut this is crazy. One example 72 pack Kraft singles $20.99 and not marked on shelf. Elsewhere $9.99-$14.99. I'd go on but I think you get the point. My opinion, they are robbing the elderly that live nearby. I pick up stuff for my mother who is 86 years old they will text us and tell us that prescriptions are ready when we get here. They are not ready. It'll be 25 minutes. or they will call her and say there is prescriptions ready and when she gets here, they don't have it,two days later they will call back and say they've had prescriptions to be picked up for two days I have been using Raleys Pharmacy in College greens for 24 years and have never had these issues!! read more

Every 1 star review this store has is because of the pharmacy. And we all experienced the same thing. Thhe pharmacist and staff are without compassion, rude, the pharmacist asks like they are afraid to speak with another human being. My spouse and I went around and around between the pharmacy, the doctor and the insurance. The doctor had cleared the prescription, the insurance authorized it, but the pharmacy kept insisting they needed more paperwork from the doctor... 5 times I went to the pharmacy and we must have made over 20 calls to the pharmacy, doctor and insurance carrier. We finally had the doctor cancel.the prescription. We went to a different pharmacy and had the prescription filled within 3 days but not before my spouse was bed ridden with debilitating pain because Bel Air Pharmacy held the prescription hostage. I loathe these people. We shall see how they feel when they desperately need someone to care and no one does. Needless to say, we do not use this pharmacy anymore. read more

The Bel Air grocery store in Gold River has decided to raise prices and at the same time delivery less service. The store has decided to save money by opening fewer check stands to push customers into self checkout. Self checkout is not an option when you have a cart full of groceries but waiting in line when there is only one check stand open should not be the only other option. Remember the good old days when Bel Air had a customer service counter. That is gone. I guess customer service is not a priority. read more

He was threatening, caustic and did not listen to a word I said in my defense of the poor treatment of the pharmacy. I contemplated calling the police on him as he was menacing and threatening. This is the closest Pharmacy to my house - but still 35 minutes away. Came to pick up a new prescription - because This required a consult and the pharmacist was at lunch, I was told my options were To either come back at a later time or wait 45 minutes. Great! If Raleys/Bel air can't afford full coverage of a Pharmacist in the stores they shouldn't be in the business. I'll be pulling out of this Pharmacy. read more

I have been shopping at this Bel-Air in Gold River for 13 years and consider it home. It's a great store, and I love the employees. However, my experience with the pharmacy is that it's the missing link in a well-oiled machine. For the most part, I like the tech assistants. They are friendly and well trained. Where the pharmacy falls down, is in their staff of pharmacists. Over the years, there have been a handful of good ones, who went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating and actually made the effort to get to know the clientele. In recent months, the mood has shifted, and in several occasions, I've often gotten the feeling that I'm imposing on them - even with a brief consultation. There is a cold formality unlike the rest of the store. If I had a genuine concern regarding my meds, I wouldn't even feel comfortable talking with them. Additionally, things fall through the cracks in call-backs and in or out of stock medications. I don't exactly know where things have gone wrong here, but I hope someone gets to the bottom of it. Major accountability is definitely needed here. read more

The people that work at the pharmacy inside bel air are stuck up, rude, heartless, snobby people that judge u based on what u look like. I went there and was profiled because my ears are gauged. They were unsympathetic, and very very rude. The manager specifically. She/ they should NOT be allowed to treat people the way they do. I felt as if I was forced to move all my medications to another pharmacy. I was even informed by my DR that they have had issues with that pharmacy before (rudeness). I do NOT recommend them. The pharmacy here is a joke. You call in for a prescription and verify multiple times with them when it will be ready but they really have no clue they just want you to get off the phone. So when you get there you'll stand in line behind another person who's prescription can't be found just to be told that the phone number you gave them last month when you were there had magically disappeared so they couldn't let you know that the information that was given over the phone was totally incorrect. But don't worry the total lack of empathy or concern for your frustration will make it all better. Don't waist your time here. read more
