Our first stop, of three, on our Temecula winery tour was Bel Vino. The grounds are beautiful, of course. Of the three wineries we visited, this one was the most interactive, with the guys pouring the wine giving us suggestions and also highlighting tasting notes. They were very friendly! We bought four bottles. I personally didn't find any of the wines we tasted amazing, and man, those were the lightest pinot and Zinfandel wines I've ever seen and tasted. It was odd. They had a BBQ food stall set up outside and it was easy to order at the bistro counter and take our ticket to the stall to get our food. Live music was playing outside and it was great! The band went from Mark Morrison to Barry White, literally, and they did a damn good job with that! This was our favorite winery of the three we visited. read more

I enjoyed Bel Vino's beautiful outdoor seating, but it didn't really stand out to me amongst a weekend of visiting several Temecula wineries. We did tastings, and I really enjoyed that they provide you with all of them at once, rather than having to repeatedly go to the bar every couple of sips. However, I didn't love that I was limited to a pre-selected menu as opposed to being able to choose exactly which wines I want to try. For example, I like white wines, so I did the white wine tasting, but would've liked to try a bubbly or maybe one red wine. I also thought their shop was fun and cute - they have a bunch of wine-themed knickknacks like bottle openers, magnets, etc. I'm not sure if this is a winery I would visit again or recommend given the quantity and variety of options in Temecula. read more

Not my favorite winery that I have visited in Temecula. The place is a bit more 'old' per say. It was too dark inside the tasting room and there was only one person working while the place was actually kinda busy. Since it was busy, we got no explanations on the wines or any sort of customer service besides the pour and the check. read more

Stopped in here for a glass and tastings with my hubby. I work locally and always love trying different places to recommend to my customers. We did a red and white flight. Both were tasty. They certainly offer a variety and also many sparklings. Their whites were sweet. We really enjoyed the Malbec and the butterfly effect red blend. Even though we had a planned list of spots to hit when in Temecula, we heard music coming from Bel Vino from Miramonte and headed over to see what the excitement was about! This winery was the most inviting winery I went to when visiting Temecula and did not have weird wine snob energy like some of them. We even brought some snacks and we were having the best time filming videos and sipping our wine in between laughing at one of the tables on the grass in front! I will continue to recommend Bel Vino to friends and family that visit Temecula because it is a little gem guaranteed to host a good time. read more

This winery was happening from the time we got there (about 12 on Saturday Feb 15) . We found a deal.on Groupon for a BOGO which was an awesome deal. I think we gotmit for $17.00. They have a good variety available for the tasting, including a Port. The woman at the entrance stated shed only been there a couple weeks but she was so friendly and informative, never would have guessed she was new. They also had a couple areas outdoors offering food. Smelled so good but we had already eaten. On weekends they also have live entertainment, the day we visited KINGS OF KARMA performed, we really enjoyed them. We sat and listen to them as we enjoyed the wine. We were looking for a chill, fun, and easy going winery on a beautiful Saturday afternoon - Mother's Day weekend. We found it.. I read the reviews here on yelp and was wondering at the low rating. We drove up and didn't take a tour and weren't part of one. We can't speak to those experiences. But when we did arrive we noticed the party atmosphere.. a turn off for some - fun for us. A band was playing, the sun was shining and there was plenty of space to play lawn games, dance or sit. We walked into the tasting room and immediately saw the rowdy-fun-having crowds. People celebrating bachelorettes and birthdays. The first bar was busy but there are plenty of others to go to for some quiet and service. We grabbed our bottle of sparkling wine and headed outdoors and secured a table under the shade and enjoyed the people watching. Board and brew was selling premade sandwiches and salads and we picked up a couple of those. Food was good and we enjoyed the unpretentious vibe. There is an ebb and flow to the tours - it gets quiet after a rush and it was an enjoyable afternoon. We stayed awhile and were never pressured about the wine club like others mentioned. We actually had a great conversation with some of the staff and they were friendly. We look forward to checking out their concerts and events and visiting again real soon. read more

I joined the wine club here in December 2021. I have friends that belong here and their wine club is very affordable. Jose is my favorite but Johnny and his magic show are wonderful. Johnny is very quiet but he's an amazing employee and makes the wine experience so fun. He left me grandma in awe for her birthday trying to figure out his tricks! For wines I enjoy the Cab Sauvignon, Long Valley, and Moscato Bubbly. I wish went club members got a discount on the house on property. read more

My first visit to Temecula's wine country was eventful. My wife and I were taken to a few different winery's by her two cousins who frequent the Valley. They love to come to Bel Vino Winery for the atmosphere. The space that they have is HUGE. There is so much seating availability here at Bel Vino that you will not feel pressed onto anyone else. The atmosphere is very much a party, and if you want a nice outdoor tasting keep that in mind that there is going to be large groups on Saturday and Sunday. But I believe that if you want to plan a party or have a large group, Bel Vino is your place as you have so much space to not bother other guests or be bothered yourself. However, I believe that if you are somebody, like myself, who enjoys tasting wine and likes some of the history behind the wine and grapes; I would not recommend attending during the weekend. Weekends are a party and there isn't much availability for servers to take the time to explain the way you may want. *I think that I will need to attend during the week to give it an updated review* read more

DON'T GO TO BEL VINO UNLESS YOU WANT A SIDE OF RACISM WITH YOUR WINE! My best friend and I were discriminated against by the manager "Jessy Hyle" while dressed as Karen. We were waiting to see a menu with her son when the bartender ran away suddenly. At first, I didn't think anything of it but then, Jessy the GM, dressed as Karen with a fake blonde chin-length wig approached us from behind asking us to leave. Jessy told us that kids/families weren't allowed on the property on weekends. We said okay and packed up to leave but noticed the other families that came behind us (families that weren't Black and Afro Latina) that came after weren't asked to leave. We waited to see if they'd be asked and realized they hadn't. So I went back asked the and asked 2 employees to speak with manager (to which the bartender dressed as Jesus replied Jessy is the manger/ owner) and I said ok I will speak with her then about this in her costume. Instead of getting her he hopped behind the bar and started making drinks again, so I asked the girl dressed in the devil costume for help and explained our experience. She was visibly mortified, apologized and said what happened to us wasn't okay, I explained the problematic nature of a GM being dressed as a "Karen" (costume too image below) while being discriminatory made me feel like a prop for her racist costume, and continued to wait. Instead of a manager approaching I was met with security (image below) and told that the policy was children of a certain age weren't allowed on the property on weekends. I replied that no one asked how old he was before asking us to leave and that I want to talk a manger and whoever is above her. Security informed me she's the GM, not the owner (staff lied to me covering for her first) and gave me all of the business cards to make a complaint and I started to leave. I made a video on my way out of the other women and their kids (who came in after us and asked the other mothers holding their wine pushing their strollers at the entrance) if they were asked to leave and they said no because their babies were younger. read more

Our friends and I love Bel Vino! The music is good. I enjoy a live band! We are members. Very easy to join and inexpensive. The people that work there are great especially Jose. He is always welcoming and ready to answer any questions we have regarding the different wines and champagnes. We highly recommend Bel Vino! This is a great chill winery in the Temecula valley that doesn't seem to be overrun with all the crazy drunk bachelorette parties. In addition, they serve the slushy wines, a red and a white or you can mix them together, see picture attached. Cute winery that my friends and I visited during our wine tasting tour. The tasting rooms inside were a little on the dark side, but the grounds outside were really beautiful. We had about six tastings and nothing really stood out to us until we got to their bubbly red wine, which was absolutely incredible!!! Visited this winery on a Sunday during a live 80s band. Of course the views are amazing from the front and back area. Picturesque rolling hills of vineyards. The music was lively and plenty of couples and groups were dancing away. There were larger parties occupying the neighboring tables. Our party participated in the wine tasting in the VIP section. I was disappointed there wasn't a Pinot Grigio since it is my preference. But the other wines were acceptable. The server was attentive and friendly to all in the party. I wasn't keen on the left over cards I was given by a man that was with a large party of men (we were heading out to our next membership). We've enjoyed our Bel Vino membership for years, (even through COVID) but their recent policy changes and unfortunate decline in the treatment of their customers has forced us to end our membership. On 5/15/21 we attempted to take advantage of our membership, and decided to bring our very well behaved and professionally trained Goldendoodle along with us, as we've done many times before. As we arrived, we were greeted by a manager that rudely told us we can't come in, not even to the outside seating area, due to a new policy banning dogs from the premises because of a "biting" incident. While unfortunate that something like that happened, things like that are on the dog's owner, not the property, so it doesn't make sense to brand the entire winery "DOG UNFRIENDLY", does it? I let the manager know that we were cancelling our membership, and she just said, "ok" in a very condescending tone. Whatever. I asked if we could go in and get our pickup. I was told no, I couldn't, so my fiancée had to go in alone to pick it up so we could leave. While waiting for her to come back out, there were a couple more people with dogs that were dropped off by Uber, and they were also rudely turned away, which made them noticeably upset. After we got our pickup, we went across the street to Miramonte Winery where they are dog friendly, have food, and generally seem to have better business practices in place. Next step was to actually cancel, which I did on 5/17/21. An hour later after this first cancellation email, they emailed me back that "Per your membership agreement we need 30 days' notice prior to your next release to cancel." Aight, except we would have cancelled earlier had we known about this policy change. I emailed back asking them to please NOT charge me for the next release, and I was met with no response. On 6/7/21 I received the charge. They are refusing to respond to my multiple emails about getting a refund for the charge, even to this day (6/18/21). I really didn't want to go through a chargeback dispute, but it looks like that might be the only way to get my money back. Absolutely insane that a business has decided to treat their loyal customers this way, and I'm sure that this policy of completely banning dogs has hurt them in the long run. tldr; Bel Vino doesn't want your business if you have a dog. read more

We stopped in Temecula to try some wines on our drive from Joshua Tree to San Diego. We love doing this and really enjoy checking out what different regions produce. My husband is a red wine drinker and I drink whites. Their tastings include 6 wines but, the white list only included 5 and the last 2 on the list were sweet, which I don't do. The gentleman who was pouring said he had other whites I could try but, all of them were sweet, too. He kept trying to push those even though I explained that's not what I like. Dry white wines are clearly not their priority here. Honestly the only white on the list I liked was their Sauvignon Blanc. I tasted their Chardonnay and one called a Field Blend of Sauvignon Blanc & Muscat that were ok and I found a taste to be quite enough. I switched to reds for my final 3 tastings and sampled some very nice Cabernets. They definitely produce better reds than whites. read more

My wife and I have been wine club members since 2018 and Bel Vino is our "happy place." The wines are good. The property has beautiful views. The staff is friendly and inviting. Every winery in Temecula has its "hook," and Bel Vino's is the stage with live music and the dance floor. Bel Vino has a wide selection of white and red wines, and the reasonably priced wine tasting allows one to explore many of them. After spending some time inside wine tasting at one of several bar/counter options, grab a bottle or two and head outside for a fun afternoon of live music and dancing. The stage and dance floor are set up at the end of a large grassy area. There are tables/benches with umbrellas, or you can bring your own chairs and tables if you prefer. They are a couple cornhole boards they set up in that area. They recently installed a permanent patio cover over their large patio that is conveniently located within a clear view of the stage. Jessy, the general manager, walks around greeting customers and ensuring they are enjoying themselves. We've had several birthday celebrations at Bel Vino and Jessy worked with us to make sure everything went smoothly. The employees are friendly, and you can tell they enjoy what they are doing. On Saturdays, all the wineries are busy, and Bel Vino seems to handle the traffic well with their several tasting areas. Bel Vino also has a selection of beer for those that are not as fond of wine. They also have a limited food menu which includes a tasty charcuterie box. Saturday and Sunday are 16 and older unless their calendar mentions Sunday Family Day. I believe this was implemented for safety reasons. Before this restriction began, we would see young kids running around wildly and bumping into other customers. We are parents of 3 girls, and we were amazed how some parents would let the kids run wild in a busy place running into people and show no concern. Unfortunately, a few folks ruined it for everyone. Stop by Bel Vino and give it a try and enjoy the wine and atmosphere. And check out their wine club which is one of the best values in Temecula. read more
