I was first introduced to Bel Viso by a friend during their 2019 holiday open house. I met both Marie and Kate that evening and they couldn't have been nicer! I came here with a Groupon for a OxyRevival facial. A month before my appointment I emailed Marie asking if I can still do this facial if I'm pregnant, and she said yes. When I came to my appointment with Kate, I found out this facial was on the "do not do on pregnant clients" list. I took one star off for this mishap as I was really disappointed I couldn't do this particular facial. Also, the studio was a little hard to find as it shares the same parking lot of another salon and there was a tiny picket sign in the corner of the entrance to indicate which one to go to. I recommend trying to get there a few minutes early to spot the right salon. Kate recommended the Jet Clear Microdermabrasion facial so I went with that. Kate was very polite and charming. She answered all my questions very throughly. I would highly recommend her. The prep for the microdermabrasion was very simple and had no discomfort. Once the machine ran for the main event, that was a surprise! It just feels like tiny water falls in every pore of your face. It only got unpleasant once it hit my nose. Kate warned me about this which I appreciated. The appointment felt like it went by so quickly but I was there for about 2 hours! I usually get a facial every 5 weeks at another salon, but I will have to switch it up a bit to include this in my rotation. I have been going to Marie for about 3 years now. I trust her with my skin care needs. As a woman of color I have to be careful with who I see for my skin care as many estheticians simply don't know how to handle my skin. In fact the prior Medispa I tried for laser hair removal did not take into account my complexion and as a result I had very bad hyperpigmentation. The first time I had a skin care consultation with Marie, we discussed my goals which at that time were about evening out my skin tone. After the first treament I saw significant improvement and since then she has introduced me to other services that have helped including: Jet Clear Microdermabrasion, Rezonorate & Dermaplaning. What is really special about Marie is that she will never advise you to do something that is truly not needed. That is when you know you can trust an esthetician. Your skin care needs are her primary concern. I have purchased some of the skin care products from the studio and have not been dissatisified with any of the products. Her recommendations suit my skin care needs. The studio has recently moved and expanded and I'm excited to work with the other estheticians/massage therapists and to trying new treatments. read more

Check-in to check-out, I was beyond impressed with Bel Viso Skin Studio! I was very warmly welcomed by Marie (owner and amazing Esthetician) upon check-in. I booked the "Consultation and Introductory Treatment" appointment which allowed for Marie to make a recommendation based on my specific needs. She suggested the Rezenerate Treatment which turned out to be truly an incredible experience. Here's why: - For years, I have opted for facials that are more topical in nature, but Rezenerate is much more rigorous and thorough (in a good way). - The tools and products that Marie used were extremely high-end. - Marie was very communicative through the treatment. I knew exactly what she was doing -- and why -- which made me feel comfortable and confident under her care. - My skin FELT renewed both during and after the treatment. I feel like i did something very positive for my skin! - This morning, my husband even told me my skin looked different -- "refreshed" was the word he used! I agreed! :) On a more personal note, Marie is extremely personable and warm. We chatted the entire time because we had some things in common and really connected. I have been a client of Marie's for a few years now. I recently also became a client of Kate's! I always wanted to try a lash lift but was afraid it wouldn't work or that the chemicals might bother my eyes. I have stick straight Asian hair that doesn't take shape easily. My lashes are long but point straight down into my eyes so it looks like I don't have any. I have literally bought and tried almost every lash curler and nothing works... until now! Kate and Marie really know what will work for each client. They are always learning about new skincare and products and then they love to share their knowledge with you. I trust them with my life so I finally asked for a consultation for lash lift after a facial. I finally decided to try this and I am so happy I did. Kate is amazing and sweet. She really knows what she's doing and can get me in and out during my lunch break. My lashes took to this quite well and I have a natural and beautiful curl that lasts about 2 months. I can use mascara and can finally get the full effect of the product because my lashes aren't pointing straight down. If I need to I can now effectively use a lash curler for a more dramatic curl. Marie at Bel Viso is an absolute delight to work with. She thoroughly explained the procedure to me as she completed my lash lift. I knew what she was doing every step of the way. The facility itself is top notch. It has a pleasant smell from her essential oil diffuser and the bed is warm and comfortable. As an added bonus, her little dog was there too! I first went to BVSS for a lash lift (I was given a GC for Christmas). Marie thoroughly explained the entire process to me, her knowledge of the product she was using was was extensive. The result was beautiful. The office is spa like, very relaxing and clean. I had such a nice experience for the lash lift that I booked a Hydro Facial. Again, Marie explained and walked me through the entire process educating me on the products plus my skin in general. I did purchase a couple products to try at home (she has a large inventory) after seeing the results of my facial, however I cannot stress enough how "not sales-y" Marie was- and I mean that in the best way possible.
