If you have blonde hair RUN AWAY! Even after explaining multiple times that I wanted my brows tinted lightly for definition they still came out close to black. The explanation was "medium brown is the lightest color that we had." Obviously they should have said we cannot accommodate you because we don't have medium blonde or light blonde or anything remotely like blonde. I also had a keratin lash lift and my eyelashes are literally folded in half touching my eyelids. Literally. Just bent in half with a crease in the lash touching my eyelids. Nice receptionist though. Very soothingly telling me "oh everything looks great." There are salons that do beautiful keratin lash lifts. This is just not that place. read more

Yesterday was my first experience with lash extensions. Not what I had expected. I wanted to ditch the mascara for an upcoming vacation and hoped extensions might give me that option. Renae gave me a set of volume lashes and she was gentle and quick. I just don't like the look of the "clumps". They hang down and look like messy, clumpy mascara. Now, I just want them off! They scheduled me for three hours just in case because I have been to places where it took that long. But it wasn't needed! Nothing felt rushed either and the outcome was beautiful. I have never written a Yelp review before but felt like it was absolutely necessary after getting a lash lift from Erica! First of all, I called her on a Monday knowing the studio was closed and was expecting to just her voicemail and schedule for later in the week. She said she was willing to get me in that day and came in on her day off to do my lashes. Second, the studio was adorable- so aesthetically pleasing, relaxing, clean and welcoming. Erica instantly felt like an old friend and asked if I had any questions about the process, made sure I was comfortable and checked on me throughout. I researched a ton before choosing Faux Cil and Erica because my first lash lift was hardly noticeable so I wanted to make sure I went with the best. I didn't know what to expect because I thought maybe my lashes were just too short and too sparse to really be effected by a lash lift but when Erica finished I was blown away- it was a 180 difference from my first one! I got home and my roommates instantly asked if i was wearing false lashes or mascara. The pricing at Faux Cil is also super super reasonable- I paid $75 for a lash lift and tint the process took about an hour and a half (not to mention a super relaxing hour and a half). I will DEFINITELY be back and would recommend this place to anyone that needs lashes or brows done. Not a single concern or complaint. These ladies are the real deal! read more
