Very poor customer service and experience. They are very hard to get hold of; barely answer the…read morephone or emails. I tried to reschedule the appointment multiple times by calling, texting and emailing but without any response or consideration. I commuted from out of state to show up at the earliest time I could make it given the Boston protests happening that day. But, when I showed up late to my appointment, they didn't take me in and barely talked to me, which I understood. But also, they denied me a reschedule and I lost the money I've put in with Groupon ($130 if you must know). They do have a way to ruin your day for sure. I was asked to "pay again" to book a reschedule. Please beware before booking. Definitely "not relaxing" experience.

To start with, I had to try for WEEKS to make an appointment. I could never reach a human on the phone and left messages and sent emails but nothing. I finally got a call back when I mentioned groupon in a message. I was about to give up though. When I arrived no one was there and after 15 minutes of waiting a woman came back in and we entered. It is a crowded, not super clean space out front. She wasn't the boss -- I can't remember her name but she was not friendly at all. The most annoying thing though was this sign that said "TIPPING 15-20 PERCENT IS REQUIRED." Um I don't think that's true. Then the woman asked me to pay before we did the massage. I said I already showed you the groupon but she said NO I mean the tip. I felt SO uncomfortable. She was not pleasant about it at all. I couldn't even enjoy the massage because I was thinking how can I get out of leaving a big tip!! DON'T GO HERE!!!!

First, I had a terrible time booking my appointment; to the point it became confrontational with the receptionist/"esthetician." When I arrived, it was far from a day spa - it was a converted upstairs apartment. The room I was placed it had no A/C on a hot summer day, and the table was a medical type table covered in a plastic cover. The equipment was dated (I've never seen anything like this before). I was asked to put on a robe that was dirty and then I proceeded to sweat for an hour while she did nontraditional facial procedures. The workout facilities are top-notch, with many open machines and also a free weight section. The spot itself has luxury services, and while I did not partake in the massages and facials, my friends have and have said they are very relaxing and great for sore muscles. If you want a relaxing massage that is light, make sure to specify that, and if you want a deep tissue sports therapy massage, make sure to specify that too and it can be accommodated. Don't forget a trip to the steam room, which is kept nice and clean!

I had a male and he had a female masseuse and we filled out the little questionnaire about where to find our kinks so they could work them out. Well, turns out it was the opposite. The areas we circled seemed to be skipped. I was really looking forward to my calves and footies worked on. I don't know the names of our masseuse. They weren't as professional as I had hoped. They were walking around giggling and whispering and carrying on scooting in and out of what felt like hiding places while we and some other guests waited in the center spa. The area has soft mood lighting and a nice ambiance and is very quiet so it was hard not to notice the interaction. We were waiting for our appointments while the 3 other guests had just had their appointments and were sipping water and snacking on dishes of fruit. The spa area has the look and feel but in the end it is the massage that counts and for the price it was not worth it. I am really sad that I won't be going back because I was so hoping this would be a win.

I came in and it's in a non-descript building, pretty small, only two rooms, and it's nothing fancy so don't come in thinking you're in some day spa. Rebecca was the person who did my perm and after seeing my eyelashes she agreed they are super straight and it would take me longer than usual to ensure it set right. My appointment was at 1, and I didn't leave until about 2:20. Overall the procedure was painless, I almost fell asleep since I had to keep my eyes closed the whole time. For aftercare, she told me I could wet them and apply makeup as normal, just avoid steam, but I'm being cautious and not letting anything get on my eyelashes for 24 hours.
