Best massage I've ever had - and it's not a particularly short list. Crystal did the work to figure out where my problem areas were, asking extensive questions beforehand and even evaluating my posture (and noticing an old ankle injury just by looking). She did a great job figuring out what I needed, and I walked out so much more relaxed and feeling great. I ended up here from a gift card, but I will certainly be back - soon. I went in yesterday because i felt like my pores needed some professional help getting cleaned out. I went in expecting they will also exfoliate my skin and hydrate it after. Mercedes really took the time to understand my skin which is not easy considering it's dry with a few cystic acne bumps. Its also sensitive. I have a very hard time exfoliating it. Personally i have never been successful doing it myself. She did an A+ job with my skin. I was GLOWING afterwards. My skin is not irritated at all. No red patches. Its soooo soft and exfoliated. Crystal was great about getting me in quickly and allowing me to do both in one visit. The massage was excellent - Crystal has truly fantastic hands! I REALLY want to go back for a deep tissue massage, since I like lots of pressure ;) hint, hint for those of you buying me presents... This was my first facial ever, and I appreciated how knowledgeable Crystal was about skin. Is there a 6-star option?... I visited C Spa because of the great reviews here and the convenience of location. I am so glad I did and even though I had high expectations, they were still exceeded. I signed up for a therapeutic facial but once the process started, decided to upgrade to a more deep facial. Crystal is very professional and takes the time to know you as a customer. She is also just fun and nice to talk to during the procedure. We even exchanged business cards to keep in touch about conversations we had. I was especially impressed that she inspected every bottle of her products for any oils which may cause me an allergic reaction, because I have a nut allergy and many skin products use almond oil or macadamia nuts. If you have an allergy, know that she will accommodate it safely. She knows her stuff about skin care and is thorough. She is willing to offer advice without pushing a product on you. She even explained the reasons why my previous aestheticism probably took the approach she did. Overall I could not ask for a better experience and will certainly be back. read more

I've been to Crystal a few times now for facials and cannot say enough great things about her. First, and most importantly, she knows what to recommend for my skin. Which is hard to find! Every time I leave her my skin is even better and I can feel and see the improvements. She is also very accommodating to schedules and making appointments is easy and painless. The spa is in a great location and very easy to get to. Crystal also sells exceptional products. She clearly tests them all herself before she recommends them and I have been more than pleased with all of the ones she has recommended for me. I had been searching for great skin care products and after a lot of time and money, she has introduced me to the best ones! Some of the products she did not have on-hand at the spa, but were delivered to my doorstep two days later...very convenient! I highly recommend seeing Crystal for a facial or a massage. She is very talented and her services are customizable, which, to me, is the most important. And, again, it is very hard to find those two things at most spas. I cannot thank Crystal enough for her work today. Similar to other reviews, Crystal was thorough, insightful, attentive and dedicated. I felt like I was her one and only concern for two hours. I have never received Myofascial Release and it was exactly what I needed for the severe neck pain I have been experiencing. Crystal could read my body, where and how and why tension might be held in certain places, and what to work on just by assessing my posture. She always told me what she was doing and what to expect so I was prepared. Even though the work is much more intense than a massage, I didn't want to leave. C. Spa came into my life as a big skin urgency. I break out in acne after waxing and threading my perfect skin. I had ingrown hairs and follicle problems for over a year and Crystal healed most of it after just one session. I got a gift card to Spa Finder for the holidays and found C Spa on Yelp. Couldn't have had a better experience! Crystal is a magician! Just by looking at how I stand she knew I carried my work bag on my left shoulder. I got a 60 min massage and it was by far the best massage I've ever had. The Spa is super clean and in a great location right on Boylston Street. Crystal informed me that her clients are 50% male and I can see why because the Spa has no fru fru. The price was incredible as I had a coupon but moving forward, it may be a tad out of my price range. The services are definitely worth it though. I am a pretty picky person when it comes to spa treatments. I frequent many of the high-end spas in the Newbury Street area and so my expectation is pretty up there. So when I say that Crystal at C.Spa is great, it is no exaggeration! The space is small but cozy and once you are on the table for either a facial or massage, you will be in for a treatment that will rival any of those high-end places. Crystal is very knowledgeable and she is happy to share regimens with you that don't include buying a ton of products, though she does carry a very good line of skin care products. A tip: take public transportation there. Parking can be a bit tricky over there but it is super convenient by train and even more if you live in the area. read more
