I also complained about my ability to see properly on bright days when driving or doing outdoor activities. I also needed the doctor to fill out and sign a single page waiver for the Mass RMV so I may legally tint my windows, thus fixing my eye issue while driving at the very least. She neither addressed my complaint nor filled out my paperwork. They seemed only interested on getting me through the process as fast as they could and sell me glasses that I did not want. I explained to them that I only buy "cheaters" on Amazon as I either loose or break them every other day. I paid $95 for the bogus eye exam and a further $95 for glasses I did not want but felt so pressured into buying them. I since cancelled the order and got a $95 glasses refunded. I did not receive any paperwork about my eye exam so I have no clue what if anything may be wrong. I will never go back. You have been warned.

The worst place I have ever been. Part of the exam was done by the receptionist! Part done by some…read morekind of tech... while she was blabbering about how she didn't like the doctor! ... well, I didn't either! Talking to a computer monitor with a harsh doctor was awful. I couldn't find one pair of frames to fit my thin face. They told me try one at home to see how that works. I picked 2 frames, they called me to pick my glasses up. I went, got them, went home. Literally falling down my nose----$1000.00+ Then... Are you serious? The script was WRONG! I had to go back for another eye exam. I went in, told the tech/receptionist who I am and she went down the hall... I heard her say, "Oh thank youuuuu. You just made my day." She was referring to me. She told the guy to take over. Another exam... at the end the computer monitor doctor said she couldn't write me a script because I needed to have another test done- but they don't do it!! I was told to find an eye doctor myself... It was for cataracts. Wtf I left with no script. I returned the glasses- FULL REFUND. Now...I was told to look in other optometry shops to buy a frame that fit me!!! OMG No eye office would see me for that "test." Weeks later the sweet receptionist called...I let it go to vm. She said we have a Dr you can see for the test. OMG. I called back. I laid into that receptionist and told her that I heard her tell that guy to take over! She was bagged and apologized. I have never been treated so badly in any office. AFTER the mess I went on the website. I should have done that first. The ratings are horrible. That receptionist said "we got a 5!" Today I picked my new glasses up from Dr. Bouvier's office!! He's so good! His staff are so welcoming. I'm going back for sunglasses So... The 2 assistants (who are very nice) did my intake, but I declined the retinal scanning (just did somewhere else and did not want to pay the $45). I was then informed that the optometrist is remote, not in the office, and needs the retinal scanning to perform the eye exam. I just needed a prescription for eyeglasses. I replied that if it's required for the eye exam then it should be covered by them. They went to speak with the manager, who said I needed to pay for the retinal exam if I wanted to proceed. I left. False advertisement and bait and hook? No thank you.

This doctor seems to know her stuff, but has NO BEDSIDE manners or interest in building relationships with her patients. Perhaps it was just me because as another patient was leaving, she spent another minute or so talking with them as they left and even said, "have a nice day!" That's more than what I got. So here's my experience briefly - I walk in and there's a small office, hot inside, and no one at the front desk. After three calls of "hello? excuse me" she responds that she'll be right out. I see a mess of papers on the desk which makes me a bit nervous wondering how organized she is or how many patients she has. Nonetheless, she walks out and introduces herself, and even shakes my hand. WoO! I'm thinking, maybe this isn't bad after all. We begin the eye exam which starts off fine. She takes her time to allow me to pick the right prescription that works form me. After a few times though, I felt her get frustrated cause I couldn't differentiate between two sets of different prescriptions. Then says, "it's okay, some people just learn to see with one primary eye." As a new patient and with little information about eyes, I was like wtf. So, after that, she basically rushes me out. We do the a couple of other tests to test the "health of my eyes". She does them, but doesn't even bother to give me the results. Are my eyes okay? Just tell me that I don't have glaucoma cause your silence is kind of annoying. We walk out of the room for payment, and she quickly runs my card, and says, "okay, thanks" as I'm in the middle of asking a question. She listens to the question and answers in a very stern, annoyed tone of voice. And, then nothing. No have a nice day, no call me if you have trouble with your new prescription (my prescription changed), etc. Just silence. I wouldn't go back to this place. It seemed a bit shady and Kim has no manners at all. I felt like a robot being shoved in and out. The only reason I went there was because I wanted to support independent doctors office and not some large corporation like Lenscrafters. Will probably never return.
