I had not been to Belk in several years, back when it was a regular department store. I decided to give it a try after noticing that it had turned into an outlet. This is a legitimate outlet store. Everything is on sale / reduced. Beware than some of it is higher end stuff though, this is not TJ Maxx. (I got a dress that was originally $129 or $149 marked down to $40-ish. You do have to dig through the clothes to see what they have, but it's organized relatively well by color and type. The shoe area is pretty messy though. read more

Stumbled on THIS! Glad we made the U-turn to check it out!! It's a true hunt to find something, but the store is organized, neat & clean. If you're lucky they have your color, size & designer EVERYTHING: shoes, bags, coats, shirts, pants, kitchen ware, linens. I found a Biltmore brand ladies dress shirt Tart Plaid. I hesitated because it's an XS, but it fit perfectly (Originally $74.50, based on the discount price sheet they hand you as you walk in, I was expecting to pay about $20, it rang up $7.43!! Shopped at Belk Outlet for first time and drove from New Port Richey to Tampa to make a return on that purchase. Found out they don't take returns (my bad) and the blond woman at the counter told me I had to take it to another Belk and there is another one in Spring Hill. Drive all the way to Springhill/Brooksville Belks and was told they don't accept any returns from the outlet store. (Their bad) Suggest the sales staff not only be properly informed, but remind shoppers at the point of purchase that they can't return anything anywhere ever once they buy it there. This location has earned 5 stars when compared to every other Belk location I've visited over the last two decades. And I would say that even if the manager tonight had not insisted I accept a $25 Belk gift card for having to wait 20 min while a staffer located my pick-up order. (I declined 2x, but she insisted.) The female store manager is incredible. We've spoken on three occasions. She is extremely friendly, & I gather she is the one who insists her employees be friendly. Not once has an employee here walked past me without saying "Hello" & almost always asking if I need assistance. The workers here are simply excellent-- always friendly & professional. (There is a college-aged black woman who is phenomenal-- I only wish I could recall her name-- so sweet & helpful.) There are always sales & savings. If you don't have an app coupon, no worries. The cashiers @ the registers will offer you theirs. And there's usually lots of clearance racks, especially in women's clothing. Clearance is my favorite! And returns are easy. The store is bright, clean, & well organized. There is plenty of parking in the front; this store is located beside the large Collier Parkway Publix. Due to Covid worries, pick-up is still offered. However, if you order online & would rather walk inside the store to retrieve your order, it's an easy process. Walk in, turn your head to the left, & you'll see the temporary pick-up counter. While I was in the store today, there were 154 orders awaiting customer retrieval! The company's webpage is excellent. It's user-friendly, fast loading, & will even separate items for store pickup (w/ a discount offered) vs items within that same order that must be shipped to the home. It's definitely one of my favorite online websites to use for purchases. I really don't like to shop other than @ antique stores & outdoor markets, but as physical shopping goes this is a VERY NICE Belks location. This is now BELK OUTLET. Don't go expecting a full department store! No jewelry, cosmetic or fragrance counters. And no luggage! The one item we stopped for! It seemed to be where the rejected styles go to die. However, It did have a lot of inventory so if you're a fan of stores like Marshall's, you'll love it. Ordered 4 pillows. Received 62 pillows of the wrong color. Called store to correct order. Another 62 arrived. Store customer service rep informed me they would not take back the pillows. I had 124 pillows!!!!!!! Spent 2 hours of my weekend breaking down boxes and dropping pillows off at Goodwill. It took two car trips. Called to request financial consideration for my efforts. They said they would send me $25. This is a ludicrous amount considered the experience I encountered. To date I still do not have the right pillows. I will not shop there ever again. read more

CAUTION! This department store is now an outlet store. It just reopened as an outlet in May 2023. It is very well laid out and color coordinated for an outlet. This is where it earned its star. 80% of the store was fall/winter. As I write this we are headed into the hottest months of the year. The prices were not sharp either. I found a dress similar (different color) to what I bought at the Lakeland department store but then realized my sale prices in Lakeland was $10 less than the outlet price. Last month I left the department store with about 15 items. I was hoping to score for an upcoming trip, but couldn't find a single item to purchase. read more

I've only shopped here a few times. What brought me in this evening was to pick up my order from a week ago. You can order online and pickup in store, which since they were having such a great sale of some kitchen appliances and cookware I opted to do this. Ordered some baking Pyrex casserole dishes that came with the carriers and a kettle....each were on sale for $9.88 from $38! Couldn't pass this up since they make great gifts either for birthday or Christmas (white elephant maybe!) :). Came in and the store was DEAD! Masks required to enter. Order pickup location is right in the front, next to the entrance door. Waited at the desk for a few minutes however nobody was around. Walked the store looking for a staff member to help but the cosmetics lady was helping a customer and then only found another staff over in Women's but she was checking someone out. I waited in line and when she was free, I asked if she could help me. She walked with me stating that it's the cosmetics staff that help with the order pickup area. She noticed that she was busy w/a customer and stated that she didn't know how to process the pickup orders so she flagged down another clerk. That clerk came over asking me what company the pickup was for....which I was completely confused! I asked what she meant by her question and she said "Are you picking up for Amazon or for Belk?" Totally didn't know that you could even pickup Amazon purchases here! I advised that it was for Belk. She asked my name and asked what I ordered ---- then she located the bag, had me look inside to ensure that it had all I purchased. She then wanted to see the email I had that had the pictures of products I purchased, which I did show her. Then she said she was done and to have a good evening. A bit irritating that I couldn't find anyone for the pickup originally however once someone was found, they all helped to ensure the process flowed easily. They should have a check-in on the email or some bell or something at the desk....this would help with folks that arrive for pickup and will help eliminate the need to walk around to find someone to help out. read more

Sad little department store. Run down and dirty. Dressing rooms smell. Windows to the entrance need to be cleaned. Selection of clothing poor. In 2005 through 2013 this was a wonderful store to shops in. I'm not sure what happened. read more

Starting my Christmas shopping today (early-ha!). I could not believe how many good deals this store had!! I really went to window shop (again-ha) and I ended up buying so much stuff I couldn't stop! I am the type of shopper if its a good deal, then I am buying it. They had a 65% coupon plus tons of "Black Friday" deals. I just cannot say enough. I spent $150.00 and purchased SO MUCH that I may have to go back!! When this place advertises deals, they mean it! It helps too that I have a Belk credit card because they continually send me $10.00 coupons when I spend $10. I can't stop myself on that one. read more

While I'm not a fan of the women's clothing that can be found at Belk's, they do have great prices on kids clothing. And when Clinique offers their Free Gift With Purchase, I can hop right up to Belk's and buy my favorite make-up without having to drive all the way down to Wiregrass Mall. That means I leave less of a carbon footprint on my community and that makes me happy. For clothing I pass on Belk's, but for make-up, it's great. read more

Store looked like it was closing. Couldn't get someone to help at the cologne counter. Finally saw an employee and he wouldn't help he was helping a pickup order. Literally left the store only because there was NO ONE to get the cologne out of the case for us to buy. read more

I'm giving 3 stars only because of the helpful associate in the Lancôme section. I agree with another reviewer that the store looks like it's closing. Shelves were empty! I have been back, and was able to take advantage of a huge sale for my boys. Saved a ton, and sales associate was great!

When asked WHY do they continue to keep their fitting rooms closed, I got this response; "We are sorry for the inconvenience. Our dressing rooms are not open at the moment. Our goal is to provide the best shopping experience possible while keeping our customers and associates safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. We're closely following the evolving CDC, state and local guidelines, and continuously adjusting our operations accordingly." My response to them was this; "This is the most lame response and excuse someone can give. I'm not sure what guidelines you're following, but the rest of this county and state are following the guidelines set by this state! All other departments stores excluding yours and Walmart have their fitting rooms open, and they are not going against any CDC guidelines or laws. And they are also 'protecting' and keeping their employees safe. This is just pure laziness and you really should be ashamed of yourselves for your actions, especially at the prices you charge in your stores. The person greeting customers at the door needs to have paper towels and spray disinfectant, and put them to work cleaning the fitting rooms, just like the rest of the department stores are doing. Macy's fitting rooms are open. JCPENNEYs fitting rooms are open. Nordstroms fitting rooms are open. Neiman Marcus fitting rooms are open. Dillards fitting rooms are open. Bealls fitting rooms are open. But Belks, they remain closed because they think they are following some other CDC guidelines that others aren't. Do you think all these other departments stores are going against state regulations? Come on! Take your head out of the sand and stop making excuses. Join the rest of the world and keep up with the times. No wonder why your store is empty, people are taking their business elsewhere, where they can try clothing on before they purchase them! I've been a customer at this particular store for over 10 years and I finally am ending my "relationship" with Belk at this particular store. Carpet in women's dressing room is disgusting and smells super musty

Very disappointed that Belks used to be open till 7 o'clock on Sunday, which was the only time I could shop was after work. I live too far away to come all the way out here just to shop at Belks now they're closing early on Sunday so I guess I will never be shopping there again! read more
