We encountered the rudest customer service person you can imagine. She asked us if we had called the number on our card for help. We told her we had but they told us we needed to take care of our bill in a store. She informed us we could not pay our bill with a credit card, which is totally fine, except her attitude and tone of voice were amazing for a customer service employee. She asked how much we wanted to pay and we asked if she could check our balance. She explained that she had no way to see anything about our account including balance, hoe we were supposed to be getting our bill, our billing address or anything to do with our account. Really? She was very rude and should not be in that role. The message about her not having the ability to know anything about my account was not her fault, her attitude was the problem. I will not shop at that store again.

The issue is when they only have 1 check out open and maybe 2 or 3 self check outs. They now limit the self check outs to 10 items or less. If anyone has an issue on the self check out, they have to wait for the sole full check out person to be available to help them. It's a bad model to have the self check outs managed by the regular check out person. It leads to long wait times and a stressed out looking clerk. Plus if they have to help at self check out, then their line is at a stand still and vice versa. I like Target as a store, but the way they've been handling check out this past year has A LOT of room for improvement.

I prefer visiting the Lady Lake location, getting an iced chai at Starbucks and getting some steps in while shopping is always a treat.

There are 3 town squares in The Villages …read more. They are: 1). Spanish Springs Town Square 2). Lake Sumter Landing Market Square 3). Brownwood Paddock Square Spanish Springs was the first one, hence the oldest. We are talking 40 years now .... Pretty long time Spanish Springs has been around and you can sense how old it is by its dated architecture and landscaping. Thus ... it is my least favorite. Brownwood is my favorite square because I like the way they planned it and built it. Plus it has some pretty cool shops. I also like the fact that it's close to The Brownwood Hotel... which ... if you need a decent hotel room .., Brownwood Hotel would be it ( it's also close to the hospital ). But Lake Sumter Landing has a special place in my heart because it seems to have the most fun live events and music concerts ... there is a lively social scene not only around the square but inside the square where restaurants and cafes line the interior road of this square. You know..... I've seen plenty of 75 year olds with more energy than a 35 year old around here ... so watch out .. ;-

It's very clean with racks of clothes, shoes, accessories and more. Don't let the check out line get you...so many items to look at even on your way to the cashier...I got sucked in and found an eyeglass/sunglass duo cash...LOL *I found a pretty floral blouse which was only $19 and I have worn it several times:) *Plenty of parking in the lot ~ and that's all I have to say about that...

I asked her for a shoe, she went to a room with curtain and brought out the shoes and helped me with the buckles. It's been a while since I've treated myself like that. After my purchase, she invited me to choose something for free from shelves of little doo-dads. I chose a pumice stone thingy. I also got a frequent buyer card that I did not have to request and she gave me my first stamp. I'll be back as the store had a bunch of cute other things for sale.
