I'd like to enjoy the music with good wine. So, your policy of preventing the local businesses from giving to go cups is very short sighted and sophomoric. It's not going to get me to purchase from you. Not at all. Please review your acting high end when you truly exhibit low end behavior. I experienced the same thing when trying to attend a polo match to never return. And I even called Paige to remedy the situation to no avail. Bad business. Find your market guys. It's certainly not high end so don't front that it is.

This place is awesome! A classic town center with entertainment every night. Most people get there by golf cart. Retail stores are open until 9pm. If you're in The Villages, go here at least one night, get a scoop of ice cream or a beer, and enjoy the music and dancing.

Walking through Spanish Springs was a little nostalgic for me. This was the very first town square built in The Villages back in 1994, and my mother has lived in this area for about that long. Seeing one of the original gathering places getting such a major makeover feels like watching a piece of local history begin a whole new chapter. Even with construction underway, you can still feel the charm and character that made Spanish Springs such an important part of The Villages for more than 30 years. After three decades, I honestly think this renovation is much needed. The square is getting refreshed with beautiful new landscaping, updated gathering spaces, improved lighting, and renovated storefronts while still preserving the Spanish-style architecture that gives it so much personality. New additions include J.Jill, Coffee for the Soul, Barons Creek Vineyards, Blondie's Bar, and the new Genesis Health Club. Longtime favorites like Kilwins, Bella Vita Italian Steakhouse, Coastal del Mar Seafood Grill, Panera Bread, Flippers Pizzeria, Amerikanós Grille, and Ay! Jalisco continue to make this a place where you can easily spend an afternoon or evening. I can't wait to come back once everything is complete. Spanish Springs has always been the heart of the original Villages community, and I think this revitalization is exactly what it needed. It's refreshing to see such an iconic place being thoughtfully updated instead of losing the character that made people fall in love with it in the first place. I have a feeling it's going to become one of the most beautiful town squares in The Villages once again. read more

This little square has unique buildings with Spanish decor. It's a great place to have a morning walk with your coffee. There's a fountain, shops, restaurants, entertainment and even a Farmer's Market. I always bring guests here when they come to visit. It's also just a golf cart ride away from my house. read more

Spent the day at Spain's springs. Very nice variety of stores and restaurants to choose from. There was a lot of people out when I went and it was a cloudy day. Overall pretty nice place to walk around, but something and get a bite to eat. read more

We live in Ocala but we totally enjoy visits to the famous Villages. We recently took Minnesota friends to Spanish Springs and Sumter Landing so when they return to Minnesota they will have good memories and first hand knowledge of both areas. Spanish Springs Town Square is quaint, aesthetically appealing and an awesome back-drop for great photo ops. Spend some time there and don't forget your camera. read more

Brownwood Paddock Square Spanish Springs was the first one, hence the oldest. We are talking 40 years now .... Pretty long time Spanish Springs has been around and you can sense how old it is by its dated architecture and landscaping. Thus ... it is my least favorite. Brownwood is my favorite square because I like the way they planned it and built it. Plus it has some pretty cool shops. I also like the fact that it's close to The Brownwood Hotel... which ... if you need a decent hotel room .., Brownwood Hotel would be it ( it's also close to the hospital ). But Lake Sumter Landing has a special place in my heart because it seems to have the most fun live events and music concerts ... there is a lively social scene not only around the square but inside the square where restaurants and cafes line the interior road of this square. You know..... I've seen plenty of 75 year olds with more energy than a 35 year old around here ... so watch out .. ;-

Around 12:40 PM, I found a dress in the clearance section with a red clearance tag clearly marked at $10. I spent time shopping, selected several dresses, and went to the fitting room to try them on. After deciding to purchase three dresses, including the clearance dress, I headed to checkout. The cashier scanned the first two dresses without any issue. When she scanned the clearance dress, she immediately removed the red tag and informed me that the dress was actually $29.99 because the clearance tag had supposedly been placed on the item by mistake. Since I had found the dress in the clearance section and with a red clearance tag attached, I politely asked to speak with a manager. Unfortunately, the manager simply told me that $29.99 was the correct price and that nothing could be done. What bothered me was not the additional $19.99. Had the dress been marked at $29.99 from the beginning, I would have made my purchasing decision based on that price. The problem was being told at checkout that the clearly displayed clearance price of $10 would not be honored. Customers should be able to trust the prices and tags displayed by a store. If a pricing or tagging mistake was made, it was not made by the customer. What disappointed me most was the lack of empathy and any effort to find a reasonable solution. Instead, I left feeling frustrated, misled, and undervalued as a customer. I left the store without the dress and with a much different impression of TJ Maxx than I had when I walked in. I hope management reviews how situations like this are handled in the future, because customer trust is built on transparency and fairness.

If anyone has an issue on the self check out, they have to wait for the sole full check out person to be available to help them. It's a bad model to have the self check outs managed by the regular check out person. It leads to long wait times and a stressed out looking clerk. Plus if they have to help at self check out, then their line is at a stand still and vice versa. I like Target as a store, but the way they've been handling check out this past year has A LOT of room for improvement.

I prefer visiting the Lady Lake location, getting an iced chai at Starbucks and getting some steps in while shopping is always a treat.

People adjusting lighting, straightening decor, moving props, resetting the stage. It's impressive to watch but also a little funny because you start to wonder who exactly the intended shopper is. Whoever that lucky demographic might be, it is certainly not me. They even have a cute holiday special where you pick an envelope off a Christmas tree and win ten percent off. Very charming until you open it and see all the conditions. Valid for this item, not that one. Not combinable. Not transferable. Not applicable to anything you were excited about. Still adorable, just... selectively useful. The best part is that I genuinely do enjoy this store. The style is gorgeous, the furniture is unique, and it's fun just to walk around and take it all in. I just never end up buying anything because the prices sit about three times higher than what I can find elsewhere. It's unintentionally amusing in the sweetest way. A store called Almost Perfect that is, fittingly, almost in my budget.
