One nice amenity in this park is a tennis court with lighting. However, this tennis court is strictly for HOA residents only. As a matter of fact, there are plenty of signs around letting everyone know that this is an HOA Park only. Plenty of pictures in this review to add more insight.

This is a decent sized park that has a lot going for it. There are quite a lot of amenities worth…read morementioning here such as bocce ball court, gaga ball pit, a large covered playscape, gazebo, covered picnic tables, sandy volleyball court and a really nice pool and slide for the kids. Here you will also find some fairly clean and decent public restrooms and there is a gravel trail around the perimeter which leads to other trails in the area. Next to the pool, you'll find a very nice basketball court and on the opposite side you'll find the Heritage House Museum. This park has very ample parking with numerous handicap spots. Currently, it should be mentioned that from 3 to 6 PM on Tuesdays, you'll find a small farmers market gathered in the red barn at the rear of the park. One odd item that is also at the rear of the park is a very large old piece of farming equipment rusting into the ground. Plenty of photos included to add more insight.

It is located in a residential neighborhood on Rustic Rock Drive (Balcones Woods subdivision). The park feels pleasantly secluded while still being easy to access. Please note that Tanglewood Park and Austin Wellness & Rehabilitation Center have the exact same address and are on opposites sides of the street on Rustic Rock. Go figure... The park offers a nice portfolio of amenities, including a children's playgrounds, open green space, and courts for basketball and volleyball. Strolling through the park, you can see how it would be perfect for families spending time in the park and for residents getting some fresh air or leisurely exercise. The paved walking paths made it easy for us to stroll through the park. This nicely paved walking path takes you through the wooded area and makes it very walkable. The path appears to form a large circle. Look forward to spending more time this summer in this neighborhood park...

The park is not massive but more than enough area for all types of activities. The park is split between three sections. 1. Covered seating/rec area 2. Small Kids 3. Bigger Kids We loved knowing that our 2 year old could enjoy all the activities while also knowing that most of the bigger kids would be on the other side of the park. My only small negative is that some of the flooring is coming up in areas. I don't think it makes it any more dangerous, but it could get worse over time. It has a wide open field & is right next to a playground & basketball court. It also has park benches along the open field. Wooten Park is also a very convenient location to exercise as well because it has a sidewalk that goes all around the park & school BUT I have yet to do any exercise here...next practice I promise I will run my butt off! ;). -Rebecca out
