These folks came over, evaluated my problem told me they would contact me back.. 2 weeks later I called multiple times to follow up. but received the run around. We'll get back to you , gaslighting...etc...I won't call back.. recommend you not waste your time. read more

Don't let Shiela's sweet voice talk you into signing up with this company. The employees are horrible, and unprofessional. They talked trashed about the owner openly, urinated on my house and NEVER brushed my pool tile or walls. They are over priced and promise a full cleaning with chemical services but all you get is chemical services. I watched them through my camera system and complained bc I was only getting chemicals and instead of correcting the lazy employee - Philip and Katie they discontinued my service. Thank God I didn't have to give them a penny more and never have to deal with them again. read more

They came out to look at my spa because it wasn't heating. They never realized the language was changed, it was in German, I guess my kids were playing with it. So they just put some chemicals in it, charged me $176 dollars and left. When I realized it was in German and changed it back and found out what the problem was from the error code, so I tried to contact them at least 6 times more and they never answered again. CAUTION, if you are a loyal Bell customer like I USED TO BE. Ed, the owner of the company was supposed to come out to my house a few weeks ago and give me an estimate. On that day I received confirmation that he was coming at 4pm. He never showed up. No call . No text. No apology. Nothing. The next day I called and left a message with Sheila, Ed's assistant, to call me back to reschedule. NO RESPONSE. Since then I have called three more times. Each time the person I talked to said Sheila was on the other line and assured me that they would give her my message and she would call me back. NO RESPONSE!! This is unprofessional and very poor customer service. I don't know what's going on at Bell, but it's not good. If I were you I'd contact another company for service. read more

I'd give zero stars if I could! I'm sorry I bought this brand of hot tub, and even sorrier that my home and fences are built up in such a way that I can't just replace it with a more reliable brand of hot tub. Since the Hot Springs tub has been installed, I installed a building and a wrought-iron fence that would prevent me from simply trashing my piece of garbage hot tub and buying a better brand, so repair or doing without is the only choice I have. I've been waiting for Ed and Phillip to repair my hot tub for ALMOST THREE YEARS! Calling and texting, begging. There's always an excuse when they deign to answer my calls or texts. I have to say, Phillip tried (unlike Ed who just avoided me), but now the entire company is just avoiding me, even Sheila who was sympathetic to Ed avoiding me. It is not like I'm trying to get repairs for free, but it is older, so parts are harder to find, though not impossible. If at all possible, avoid this brand, as the service is non-existent. read more

Absolutely terrible. I have given this group more than ample opportunity to right the situation and still nothing. I requested an estimate almost 4 months ago. They came out promptly and we discussed repairs. Josh told me I would be receiving an estimate for the work from someone in their office shortly. After a few days I reached out. They promised to get me an estimate asap. Then again. And again. And again. 7 times I reached out asking for some numbers for the repair work. Either they don't want the job or they are completely incompetent. Either way, I'm done soliciting their business and I would recommend anyone thinking of going down the same path do the same. read more

I would highly recommend Bell pool and spa! The owner, Ed Bell, is the most honest, hard worker in San Antonio! I had to move my swim pool from McQueeney to San Antonio. He took care of picking it up from my old house and when I had it relocated to a garden home in San Antonio, he took care of EVERYTHING for me! we had to have it delivered over my house....by a crane! Mr. Bell took care of clearing an area in my backyard and building me a beautiful platform to hold the 12x8 swim spa. He got up on my roof and directed the crane operator! It landed PERFECT! Everyone always mentions that they rarely write reviews but I'm not one of those. When you discover a gem in a highly competitive industry, it helps commerce to share the benefits of their service. This company truly delivers. Their staff is punctual, friendly, extremely knowledgeable about water chemistry and pump equipment. The owner has been present at every visit while working on our older model spa. He knows all the manufacturers and is extremely helpful regarding training and post visit support. I work in mechanical manufacturing as a sales person and was truly impressed from explanation of the problem, repair quote that was fair, and performance with thorough testing before departing. If there were more stars I'd offer them. With so many Service providers in the pool and spa business of Central & South TX, these folks are far and away the best value and quality of service for the dollar. read more

We have used Bell Pool and Spa for several years with our hot tub. We then put in an above ground pool two years ago. We originally had them doing monthly servicing but we stopped after every visit became a promotion from them that we needed to change to a chlorine system (despite being told by us several times that we couldn't due to medical reasons), our chemical levels were never correct when we would have the water tested and we never knew what day they would show up. (They were always "extremely busy.) So we began doing the chemical maintenance ourselves. Twice this year, we have had Bell Pool come to our house because we had a leak in the liner. The first time they said they found it and patched it but our water level continued to go down. We contacted them and they said there were no other leaks. We got into the pool and quickly found a huge gash in the liner which coincided with the wet grass on the outside of the pool. Watched a couple of YouTube videos, used food coloring to see if there were any other leaks and then bought a $9 patch kit and repaired the leak ourselves. Cut to today...two weeks ago, we called asking for leak detection and patching because the water level is dropping rapidly. We were told, again, they were busy and it would be at least a week before they got here. Understandable...it's South Texas and it's summer. Two weeks later, they finally show after two missed appts. The tech looked in the pool for a few minutes (5-6 minutes) and said there's no leak. Which again, from the specific wet area outside the pool, there has to be a leak. If I hadn't had knee surgery, I would be looking for it and repairing it myself. So now we are looking for another company to help us. I am extremely disappointed in the "customer service" of this company. We will not use them again. read more

Horrible service and very inconsiderate. Contracted with the owner to service my swim spa for chemicals weekly. The day of the first scheduled appointment, after I text messaged him to ask him what time he was coming, he responded after 5:00 p.m. stating that he need to reschedule for the following day. The next day he came and everything was fine. The second scheduled appointment, which was supposed to be Friday, August 4, 2017, when I text messaged him to ask him what time he would be here, he responded that he was running late and would come out Monday. I told him that was fine. Monday came and no one called and no one showed up. I called them on Tuesday to find out what was going on. They said because it was raining they didn't come out on Monday . I told him that was fine since it was raining but they should have given me the courtesy of telling me they were not going to be out. So if you are not present for the service They are probably acting like they are doing the service and not showing up at all. This is probably why they did not give me the common courtesy of letting me know they were not going to be there on MondayThey were supposed to come out again on Tuesday. They said they would be there at 2:30. At three they still were not there to service my spa so I contacted Office who is on the phone with me for over 30 minutes trying to locate the service crew. At 3:10 I finally told the office lady I had to leave and couldn't wait on them anymore. She said she would reschedule me for Wednesday. Wednesday came and no one showed up and no one called. So Thursday morning I called them and told them to cancel my service and refund my money. I text messaged the owner throughout this process and he did not respond. I text messaged him on Wednesday and Thursday of this week, and he did not respond until Friday. He offered no apology. He only stated that he was going to refund my money as I requested and this was best for both of us due to time constraints. This was very unprofessional and inconsiderate. If he knew he didn't have time to do my service he should've never contracted with me to do this service. The service had already started to fall apart with the very first scheduled appointment. Not to mention that when he knew he was not going to make the appointment he did not have the courtesy to let me know and asked to reschedule. Instead he waited for me to find out and to constantly call the office trying to find out when my service was going to take place since they missed their appointment yet again. read more
