I just received a bill for warranty work which was to be at no charge. 1) I was forced to wait 2 weeks for them to have my appointment. Then they called the day of and push back the appointment another 5 days. Meanwhile algea was taking over in my pool. 2) They show up and can't fix the problem. 3) THEY SEND ME A BILL FOR THE SERVICE CALL TO BE COVERED BY MY WARRANTY! 4) I called them and said they should not be billing me. I had to call and pay someone else to fix the problem which was right at the pump that they warranty and that I'm not going to pay the bill. She said tough, we will just send you to collection. 5) I said I'll see you in court. I am also sending an e mail to the company if I can find one. I can't even find a website on Google. The only first option I have is to go here on Yelp because I have no option to e mail them in writing the problem or go to a website. read more

Pool mart came out to the house and replaced a motor for our Jandy pool filter. The part was under warranty so it was just a matter of getting the part from Jandy and getting it scheduled. Every time warranty work was called and arranged by my pool builder, Pool Mart has never failed me. read more

10 Star!! I HIGHLY recommend Poolmart in San Antonio, TX, for any pool equipment repair work!! I can't imagine anyone more knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly in the industry. We had a tough heater and pump warranty issue with a Modpool-manufactured pool. The heater wasn't working, and the pump tripped the RFI breaker. The equipment was difficult and uncomfortable to access because of the small compartment it was installed in. We called several pool service companies, who all turned down the work for numerous reasons. Tom, the owner, and Natasha, the manager at Poolmart, came to our rescue. The work was challenging, but they powered through it and fixed the heater and pump. Tom is hard-working, honest, and has a wealth of knowledge. He explained in detail what was wrong with the equipment and installation, what the fix was, and fixed it. We finally had a working pool, thanks to Poolmart! I hope we don't have any more issues with this pool, but if we do, we will definitely call Poolmart of San Antonio. read more

I'll order a part from Pentair earlier this summer Natasha from Pool Mart did not tell us that the part was going to be on back order. She also did not tell us that it would be a few weeks before the part came in. When I called she had a funky attitude as if I was bothering her. She should be immediately fired from this company, but she claims that she is the owner and if that is the case, if I were you I would not do any business with Pool Mart. Customer service is lacking and scheduling is far worse please do business with another company. read more

We used them for several years and recently cancelled due to the regular lectures we received from their maintenance staff on the most minor issues. Yes, we know the pool water is low. Yes, there is a tree above the pool that will drop leaves in the pool. At one point they reduced the polaris hose length which caused it to tangle then they left a note every week telling us the hose was tangled. Nice. There are some real attitude issues and the management doesn't address them in a timely manner. We put up with the games for a year and finally gave up. They are ok when it comes to servicing the pool but the employees just don't have any customer service skills. Too bad. read more

We used Pool Mart very happily for about 8 years. I don't know if there was a management change, but I do know there was a change in our technician, who had remained the same for those 8 years. Once he left, the pool, literally, went to hell. Cloudy, green, and all while they were supposedly maintaining it. They missed visits, and I believe, fudged on the reported use of chemicals. All in all, the pool was a mess, and they were unable to correct it. We finally did it ourselves, after cancelling our service and while using Leslie's water diagnosing. (They were always helpful.) It took months, but at this point we are happy with our pool. Still looking for a good, reasonable weekly service provider. I think they are few and far between. Never again, Pool Mart. read more

Absolutely unprofessional customer service! Sal has not been to our residence to service our pool in two weeks which is unacceptable! Maria who is a "leader" in your organization is upset that my wife and I are upset? She is bothered that we "keep calling" to seek assistance and a resolution to the issue? What kind of customer service is this for a company that prides itself in supporting the military? I will never recommend your company to any service member I work with or come across. Maria has the absolute worst customer service and leadership skills I have ever witnessed in my over 30 years working for the U.S. Army. To hang up on a customer who is dissatisfied with service is childish and extremely unprofessional! Cancelling our service was your way of avoiding the issue. However, the appropriate response to resolve the the issue is to first establish and enforce proper tactics, techniques and procedures for your employees to follow and provide retraining as required. Secondly, establish clear and effective communication procedures with your paying customers to keep them informed of any obstacles that may prevent your employees from completing any tasks that you are paying them to do. This advice is free of charge. Update: Office manager stated that Sal came out yesterday but may have run out of paper to leave the customary "Pool looks great" report. Well I just checked pool chlorine level and it is "0" and Alkaline is 8.2 so I'm pretty certain this claim is entirely false. Sad... read more

Kevin came to the house and immediately realize that the booster pump was cracked. He replaced it then saw that the pool pump was leaking and needed to have the seals replaced. He quickly disassembled it, went to his truck, got the replacement seals and installed them. He worked efficiently and had the job done in a short time. They explain the charges before they started the job, and it worked out too just what I expected. They have made me a customer for life. read more

They sold us a loop lock pool cover. It took months to get it and it's so difficult to get off the pool that it makes the pool almost unusable! It was never explained to us how difficult it was to put on and take off! I don't recommend the cover or this company. read more

We liked Sal who cleaned our pool weekly it was the office staff that was unbearable. As I read in another review they were constantly lecturing about minor maintenance issues. This is true but not the worst. On two occasions they did a maintenance call which were unauthorized then charged $178 to put in a part that was $2.99. Now today I called about a filter issue and the office manager starting yelling at me. I was at work and she was on speaker. I hung up and my coworkers were all in shock and said you pay these people $200 a month to be treated like that. Wake up call. I was hesitant to do anything about it because like I said Sal has been a great pool cleaner but the office is just too much to take. read more

These guys are THE experts when it comes to servicing pools and equipment. I've had several issues with my newly-out-of-warranty pool (thank you, Cody Pools - NOT!!) and have had Pool Mart come out and make the needed repairs. They are quick, but thorough in their diagnosis and know how to make the repairs, doing it right the first time. Their technician, Glenn, is an amazing guy. The man knows his stuff! I will be telling everyone I know to use Pool Mart when you have issues with your pool. They're not the cheapest, but I can tell you that in this type of work you definitely get what you pay for. Natasha at Pool Mart was extremely helpful and very pleasant to deal with and in no time Diego had my Letro Legend working beautifully. Since my Letro Legend is new and under warranty, Pool Mart took care of submitting the claim making the entire process very easy for me.
