Avoid at all costs!!! The sales team at both locations are relatively helpful & easy to work with but that's where the positivity ends. The alterations team & owners are beyond a nightmare. I encourage all brides to do a deep scrub of Reddit posts because you'll see that posts there are drastically different than all the 5 star Google reviews. It's difficult to recap everything briefly but essentially, the alterations team ruined my dress & the owners gaslit me when I tried to address it with them versus trying to resolve things. 1. Lubia (my alterations person) told me she would make me a veil since I had trouble finding what I wanted. She said this 1 month prior to my wedding date & then 3 days prior to leaving for my destination wedding she told me she could no longer make my veil as retaliation for me not liking the way she had been altering my dress. Any bride knows you can't find a veil with 3 days notice unless you want something basic. This ruined my entire dream of being able to embroider my veil with hummingbirds to honor my grandma and uncle who had passed as I no longer had a veil let alone time. 2. Lubia ripped my illusion back & this was not addressed until my final fitting when I brought family with me to see the dress. Lubia attempted to say that was there because it was a sample dress. I had to prove with photos from the day I purchased the dress that the rip was not present. So she had to come in and redo the entire back on her day off, which probably also contributed to her being upset & not making my veil. 3. Raychel (the salon manager) agreed that my bust did not look good the way that Lubia had altered it yet, when I emailed ownership regarding it she denied this. I did purchase a sample dress, so there are definately challenges with that however it doesn't excuse poor alterations. Lubia glued lace on my bust that mimicked a 5 year olds crafting skills. The lace overlapped poorly and was not fully sewn down. Also, I had requested my bust to have more coverage and I wanted it to be as seamless as possible. Instead, Lubia cheaply added material on top of the bust & even literally put two different pads which made my bust look like it had an indentation. She refused to fix it the way I wanted as it would have taken too much time and effort even though it was what I had requested at the start of my appointments. 4. I requested my entire dress to be lined so it wouldn't be see through. The dress was lined everywhere but the bust & they refused to line it when I saw this as they said no one would notice. 5. The boning in the dress was very loose & warped so I requested it to be replaced & tact down. None of this was done. The boning was loose and wavy upon pick up and it continued to stab me on my wedding day as well as anyone that hugged me. The boning was literally popping out of my dress so I had to pull it out eventually. It also was extremely warped so it looked like I had rolls under my bust & it made my midsection seem much larger than it was. 6. I continually told Lubia and Raychel that my dress was too looose in the midsection. I have a very curvy figure with drastic differences between my bust/waist/hips. The dress had about 2 inches between my skin and my waist. Lubia refused to make the dress more fitted as it would have made the back too tight. This is just poor alterations skills. My back looked sausaged & my front was loose. When I addressed all these issues with the owners, they accused me of losing drastic amounts of weight, being dishonest and having expectations that were too high. I literally proved to them that I had actually gained weight/was swollen in the week between pickup and wedding day & proof of the alterations issues with time/location stamped photos from pickup that were taken in front of staff. I hate looking at any wedding photos because of my dress - esp after spending over 5 figures on a dress and alterations. The owners will respond by saying they were limited with time and the sample dress but you can discern if thats valid by looking at the photos below. read more

We were not a client but a burden to Bella Bianca Bridal Couture, at least that's what they made us feel like. I want to start off by saying this is a really difficult review for me to write. I never imagined I would feel the way I felt leaving Bella Bianca Bridal Couture, crying in the parking lot as my family consoled me. Consultant: Lara Greenacre My information: Height: 5'2" Weight: ~200 lb Size: 14/16 (streetwear size [referencing Athleta and Lululemon]) Communicated budget: 8K Prior to the appointment, the communication from Bella Bianca Bridal Couture was phenomenal. We discussed over call and text my wedding information and style of dress I was looking for - ball gown and dress with sleeves. I also shared inspiration photos of dresses I saw that I liked. At this time, I also chose to share my estimate bridal size because I'll be honest I'm not a skinny future bride and I wanted to be fully transparent with that. They were so excited for me. From that point on, I eagerly looked forward to my upcoming appointment. The appointment at Bella Bianca Bridal Couture was my second and last bridal appointment of the day. We arrived to the appointment 5-10 minutes early. There were three other bridal appointments during this time. We all patiently waited as the earlier appointments ran ~15 minutes into our scheduled appointment time. Although I was one of the first brides to arrive, I was the last pulled for my appointment. Appointments can run late (not uncommon) and sometimes you're assigned to specific consultants, hence maybe why I was pulled last. However, just prior to being pulled, my mother told me it looked like there was slight arguing between the consultants behind the desk as to who would be working with us. The consultant I worked with was Lara Greenacre (I really hate having to call someone out but the experience can completely change depending on your consultant so I thought it important). From the very beginning and throughout the appointment, there was lack of enthusiasm and energy. While my party waited in the showing room, we went over what I was looking for and my budget. I shared with her that we were trying to beat a previous dress I tried on at an earlier appointment and I showed a photo of me in the dress. I was originally not going to share this information. I don't know what made me share this, but I think it was due to the awkward energy and vibe I was getting from my consultant. I was expecting her to say something like "I like a challenge!" or "let's make it a difficult decision!" Instead, all I got was an "okay." Before I even got in the first dress, she started making comments about my size. She was saying things like "just know this designer usually works with small sizes only so I don't think this will fit you" and "I remember when I was your size..." and "I pulled this dress because it's plus size." She even tried to put me in a dress she felt confident I wouldn't fit in from the beginning. From the beginning to the end of the appointment, I fought back tears as I starting losing confidence in myself and my body image as well as the overall appointment. She only showed me 6 dresses, most not even close to what I was looking for. The consultant also had a hard time finding items and fabric, stating "we have a consultant who likes to steal things." In front of my family, she finally said "We don't have a dress for you here. You already found your dress." After only 20 minutes and trying on three dresses, we left. It's sad to know my mom, my sister who was attending my bridal appointment for the first time, and my MOH who flew in from Denver - had to watch me fall apart slowly over the course of this appointment. We were not a client but a burden to Bella Bianca Bridal Couture, at least that's what they made us feel like. I'm sure there are brides who had the best experience here or maybe worked with a better consultant. Unfortunately I did not. I truly couldn't have asked for a better experience than the experience I had at Bella Bianca at Oakbrook! Although I had an idea of what kind of silhouette I wanted when I went in for my appointment, I wasn't sure what kind of style I wanted and after working with Lara- everything just fell into place! She was amazing from the minute I met her. She made me feel so comfortable- she asked me about what I envisioned for my wedding day and truly took the time to understand and guide me towards my dream dress! Even when I wanted to make very specific changes to the dress- Lara made sure everything was properly documented, double and triple checked the comments we sent to the designer, and really took the time to make sure that everything I wanted would not only be feasible but that it would look amazing at the end! Oh my gosh I literally cannot say enough about how wonderful Lara G. is! I did a ton of shopping and ultimately decided on an Eve of Milady dress at Bella Bianca in Oakbrook. There were a lot of modifications I wanted to make and Lara helped me visualize, plan, and adjust everything to make the dress as perfect as it could be. She was in contact with the designer and got input from co workers as well to ensure all of the changes would come out how I wanted them to. She even helped transfer the sample dress to their Chicago location so I could try it on again more conveniently before purchasing. I filled out a form and that asked me personal questions such as how many people are coming to my wedding. Why is there a need to know that. Whatever. Comes time trying on dresses, I was unsure and chose a few dresses with different style and the girl got so mad at my mom and I for being a bit undecided on a certain style to choose. NEVER WENT BACK. The next week I went to "Here comes the Bride", so helpful, so kind, took me as a walk in, bought my dress later in the week. The first visit to try on dresses went great! The showroom was lovely and the attendant very helpful. The problems arrived after I ordered my dress and paid my money. The dress I feel in love with was Ivory but had Organza undertones. Against my skin tone, this looked strange, as my skin color is brown, the dress was ivory, the undertones were Organza, and the breast cups nude. I asked if the entire dress could be changed to Ivory. Bella Bianca spoke to the designer who said it wasn't possible. I refused to purchase without the customizations. The designer then said they'd do it for an additional fee which was ridiculous as the change was simple and the dresses are supposedly "made to order," but I agreed. I was charged a fee to change the breast cups to ivory; I was charged a fee to change the under fabric in the dress to ivory; and I was charged a fee to increase the cup size. I also signed a paper that stated hemming and bustling alterations from Bella Bianca were a set price. When I got the dress back, some of the under fabric that I had already paid to be changed was still not ivory and the cup sizes that I paid to be increased were not the size I gave and signed on the paper. When I brought this to their attention, I was told they'd fix the fabric color at alternations, and the breast cups only go up to a certain size. I was not told the breast cups only went up to a certain size at the time of purchase nor when I paid additional money for the breast cup to be in my specific size that was in writing. Fast forward to alternations, I'm told changing the under fabric that was already supposed to be changed would cost me additional. I expressed how this was ridiculous as we already paid them to do it when we bought the dress and it wasn't done, so they need to work it out. I was then told, the set fee for hemming and bustling on applied to specific dresses, and to bustle my dress it would be an additional fee. This was also outrageous as this was not stated at the time of purchase, and on the paper I was given, in writing, nothing specified qualifiers for types of dresses. The set price stated hemming and bustling for a set fee for the dress purchased. I expressed the concerns and we ended up coming to an agreement. My dress was great in the end, so I'll give them 4 stars, however I should not have had to go through all this with a professional business. I'm a professional and I believe in having things in writing. When things are in writing and I have to go back and forth for them to be honored, it makes me question the integrity of the company. read more

I started the search for my wedding dress in the middle of a pandemic, so I truly did not know what to expect from the entire process. Bella Bianca was the first stop in my line-up of stores, so again I went into the experience with an open mind given the times we are in. I have to say that from day one, the ladies at Bella Bianca went above and beyond to make me feel like the most special bride in the world. I was lucky enough to have Taylor as my bridal consultant, who ultimately helped me pick THE dress. Not only did she listen intently to what I dreamed of as a bride, but provided helpful feedback and insight thanks to her extensive experience in the wedding industry. She did not pressure me at all into buying the dress that day, but instead gave me the advice to think about this decision and do some more try-ons before committing. Honestly, it did not take long for me to realize that no other store compared to my experience at Bella Bianca, and no other dress took my breath away like the one Taylor found for me. When I returned to Bella Bianca to buy the dress, Taylor helped me accessorize my dress with the most stunning veil, hairpiece, and earrings. They were even able to custom-make the accessories gold to match the rest of my jewelry on my wedding day! Taylor made sure that my "yes" to the dress/accessories was so special, and even had champagne there for me and my family on that day. Additionally, I did all of my alterations at Bella Bianca, which I highly recommend. The staff there was so knowledgeable, talented, and insightful. They even provided advice on undergarments to help everything sit seamlessly on the wedding day. Throughout my fitting process, I had the incredible consultant Raychel by my side. She stopped by each one of my appointments and was not only my hype girl but also provided helpful feedback during each fitting. It always made my day to see her! On my last dress fitting, both Taylor and Raychel came to see me in my dress. I cannot tell you how much it meant to me to have both of these ladies be so dedicated in each step of this process and truly being cheerleaders for me along the way. All the bridal shops I visited were lovely when trying to get a sale but I was really impressed by how Bella Bianca treated me after the bill was paid. this place deserves zero stars We were so excited for dress shopping at Bella Bianca. The pre appointment communication was wonderful - the bride to be received text message reminders and was encourage to send photos of dresses she liked- she was even told there was a trunk show the day we were going. The bride to be called the salon to make sure they had samples that she would be comfortable in and she was assured everything was taken care of. But it went down hill the second we walked in the store and it was a HORRIFIC experience after that. We walked in about ten minutes early and there were 6 girls walking around fake working and we were greeted by someone saying "here is a form go sit somewhere..." then our "stylist" Jackie showed up five minutes late. She was not welcoming and did not make a fun environment. It was clear she did not look at one photo the bride sent or listen to what the bride wanted the day of the appointment...or maybe Bella Bianca needs to better train their team because she did not know the difference between satin and tule. We left 30 minutes after the appointment started because Jackie told the bride to be to just smush into the dress after the bride said she did not want to put on. It was so clear the girls working just wanted to be the best dress people in the place and could care less about the bride and her feelings. In conclusion if you want to work with the girls who were the high school mean girls and be trapped in an environment that does not promote body positivity by all means go to Bella Bianca. read more

Just an update on how my process closed out with Bella Bianca with my 3 fittings and my dress pick-up and actually wearing it. The service continued to be AMAZING. ALL of my 3 fittings were absolutely easy breezy and they made me feel comfortable with every penny spent. I received SO MANY compliments on my wedding day and I didn't pull on my dress in any place not one time. You truly want to get your wedding dress from this venue. Their level of professionalism, patience and expertise is SPOT ON when you are making this type of purchase. I definitely didn't spend a gazillion dollars on my dress - but it definitely was not cheap change for me. They never made me feel like my budget was too small and I truly appreciated their guidance along the way - ESPECIALLY when planning wedding during a pandemic. ALSO - I had my 2 bridesmaids get their dresses at Bella Bianca Bridesmaids and their dresses came in EARLY and were AMAZING. They shared that they too received compliments and their process was seamless as well. Bella Bianca was the 6th store I went to as part of my dress shopping process. We even had a deposit down at another store (off the rack) and thought we had found "the one" . After listening to my budget and what I was looking for, Taylor was able to show me multiple great dresses including one that blew that previous dress out of the water. However, I really wanted a strapless dress and this dress was not strapless. I was able to work with the in-house alterations team to create the dress of my dreams and turn this dress INTO a strapless dress. The dress looked like it had been made that way from the beginning and I didn't have to hoist it up all night because they altered it perfectly. Throughout the alterations process, Taylor was there to help when she could tell I was not speaking up about things to make me be more assertive and tell them to change whatever was necessary. General note: their alterations are definitely pricey but the quality is amazing. read more

Talk about fancy pants. (of fancy dresses, in this case) I feel like I shouldn't walk in here without wearing something that I purchased from them. Marble flooring, perfect model-type employees. FAN-CY! My good friend, Kate, is getting married in July this year and we were just in recently to order our bridesmaids dresses. I'm a bridesmaid so I have to do what I'm told and God bless her for finding such a lovely place to get our dresses at, but unfortunately, I am not a size 2 and do not fit into ANYTHING they have in house to try on. I was quite disappointed. Of the entire group, myself and 1 other woman were really not able to fit into their size dresses. Now, I realize that they get whatever the designers send them, but c'mon!!! Most Americans are overweight. Have something for plus sizes to try, please. Hell, not even plus sizes, but average women size 8, 10, 12. I was pretty sad sitting there while the rest of the ladies tried on all the dresses and we were able to make a determination of a dress that will look decent on everyone and was the material our bride wanted, but I can't express the hurt I felt leaving there. Other than my personal feelings about the size selection, all of the employees were kind and certainly tried to make the experience enjoyable, and succeeded. I had the most beautiful wedding dress, all thanks to the staff at Bella Bianca in Oak Brook. I had an amazing experience at BellaBianca and would recommend this place to everyone. I felt like I was in a movie, compared to some of the other places I visited. I just want to express how amazing the staff was. From the beginning I worked with Tracy and she was amazing. I expressed I didn't have a large budget and she was able to find a dress that was perfect for me. She made me so comfortable- I feel I could write a whole book about my experience. Unfortunately though- when my dress came in, I did not fit :( I was in tears.. The staff felt that the measurements were off according to the designer and quickly the manager reordered another dress for me.. Which came in much bigger and i needed to have more alterations done, but at this point it didn't even matter because I had a dress to wear on my most important day of my life. I lost $100 that I paid extra towards special length of the dress which I was not able to get back, but the manager reordered another dress at no extra cost. My bridesmaids gifted me with a stunning belt from BellaBianca which matched my dress perfectly. Kiara was helping them and they also had a great experience. I also worked with Kiara on picking out he Veil. She is truly a sweetheart! And during all this time I didn't feel pressured into buying anything I didn't feel interested in. The girls that work there are really amazing and really know their stuff. I would never go anywhere else for a wedding dress. I wanted to take the time to review Bella Bianca because although I did not end up purchasing my wedding gown through them, I had a wonderful experience during my appointment. This was my very first time wedding dress shopping and immediately I felt very comfortable with all the employees working, from the ladies at the front desk to my consultant, Kristin. I was escorted into a room where they had a giant fluffy robe waiting for me. Kristin and I got to talk and discuss my vision while my guests had comfortable seats waiting by a very large area with a 3 angle mirror. Every dress Kristin pulled was spot on. I had a VERY hard time eliminating a lot of pieces just because everything she pulled was so flattering. She even tried to pull some silhouettes that I didn't mention, just to see if I would like it (which I did!). This bridal boutique is obviously more high end, and their dresses start at around $2,500. After finding one that I really liked, the gown price quickly went up when we factored in tax, letting out the bust, and an added belt. That doesn't include alterations. So after thinking it through, I wanted to keep looking before making that big of a decision. If you're budget is at or close to $2,500 just remember you need to consider the extra costs that are necessary to purchase your dream dress. First things first, if you're seeing the word Couture and you're thinking they won't have a size for you be star you sent a size 4, you're very much wrong. They have sizes that will fit you. They absolutely do not body shame you at all. They know what looks great on your silhouette! They're real pros! They take their time with you and make sure all your questions are answered. We had a wonderful experience here. The dresses are pricey here but I have to say, you get what you pay for. Every dress my sister tried on made her look like a million dollars. There wasn't one that she tried on that made us go "ew." Nice quality dresses and lots of choices. If you have the budget, check this place out. If I could give no stars I would!!! I found my dream dress there and put $2200 down. After they wanted me to pay the full balance and order the dress a year before my ceremony. After they told me that I needed to order 8 months before!!! Then if that is bad enough they tried to make me sign a different contact from my original one so they would go up on my dress price!!!! Needless to say I got a refund and found my same dress for half the price anyway!!!! Go here if you want to have horrible customer service and pay double. read more

I had a bad experience my first time dress shopping just two weeks before I came to Bella Bianca at another bridal salon. I was hesitant and had absolutely no expectations when I came in for my appointment. Taylor was the consultant I worked with, and she completely erased all my fears and self doubt ! I could NOT have asked for a better experience because I ended up having THE ultimate experience. Her background in fashion, her great and bubbly personality, made me feel relaxed and comfortable. Wonderful selection of dresses! My boss recommended it and I'm so glad she did!!! Chose my own wedding dress here, and also came with my friend to look for hers. Lovely staff, large viewing area, zero pressure on buying the gown, everyone was super attentive and helpful. Dresses are pricey but very unique. We also went to their Chicago location as dresses there are a bit different, and I was super impressed that they knew exactly what dresses my friend and I had tried on at Oakbrook both times. Taylor was BEYOND helpful, picked out the perfect accessories when they were needed, and helped me get clearer on the vision I had for my wedding day in regards to my dress and in general. I felt completely confident saying yes to the dress! All the dresses are clean and well-kept, the fitting rooms are large so you never feel cramped, and the natural lighting of the space helps you see even more clearly which dress is really meant for you! The Oakbrook Bella Bianca has a similarly awesome selection and variety as the downtown location, just at lower price points and with slightly different designers. I found the experience here to be wonderful, and they have a decent number of trunk shows or other options that can wiggle prices a little bit. It's also nice to be able to get a dress at the slightly lower suburban tax rate than downtown Chicago and save up to a couple hundred $$. I wound up finding an amazing dress here and really appreciated the personal attention my consultant gave to me-- she did a thorough consultation, really listened to my preferences and brought out options that weren't out on the floor that matched my style. My ONLY reason for the 4/5 stars is that I think their accessories are pretty overpriced. Their belt selection doesn't seem to have a whole lot of variety, and some of the earrings/bracelets/etc options were just basic costume jewelry but at pretty crazy prices ($200 for rhinestone cluster earrings that kind of looked like they were from Claires, etc). read more

A++++++++++++ 10 STARS!!!!!! This is the go to place and Taylor R. gave me the exact wedding dress experience I dreamed about. I told her about the negative experiences I had in the past and she made sure to make those nothing but a bad memory. I tried on only two dresses and it was the first one that was everything I ever wanted and then some! I was in tears, my mom was in tears, my aunt was in tears, and Taylor was in tears. I can't thank Taylor enough for how nice, great, and just amazing she was. She really knew what I was looking for and knew that nothing would top that dress. She gave me my "say yes to the dress moment" and I appreciate it so much! She made me feel comfortable and actually listened to me. Bella Bianca thank you and Taylor R. thank you. I wish I could give these guys five stars, because for so many reasons they are the best salon in the Chicago area. It started out great - they had a wonderful selection of both dresses and veils and I was able to find my dream dress in a very short amount of time. I originally worked with Bridget who left, and then began working with Candyce who was also great. Because of my initial great experience, I sent three girls to this salon - all purchased their dresses here. Now to the fitting...well this is when everything sort of fell apart. One thing I should mention at the beginning, is that my alterations cost $695 when I was originally told it would be around $300. Not a big deal, just more of an FYI to everyone else out there. Now, I am a very busty girl on a normal size frame. It was EXTREMELY important to me to feel supported but NOT busty on my wedding day. Brenda, the seamstress, seemed incredibly unhelpful/inexperienced working with someone with my shape. Me, my mother, and my MOH asked several questions about this area and we were either completely ignored by her (and by that I mean we would ask a question and she would literally just not respond), or were given the blanket response "I have done this for many years." She didn't seem able to support my chest area without jamming my breasts up to my throat. She put size C cups in, when I am a DD. Everyone and their grandmother know that if you want to PUSH UP your breasts, you wear a size smaller cup. If you want to look even larger, you wear two sizes smaller. This was rookie mistake number one, and it just seemed to go downhill from there. My maid of honor politely asked if they could order the proper cup size, and she just said "no." We frantically asked how we could make this work and she just sort of stared at us. Us, not having any experience in this area, just kept taking it in without any supportive under garments, hoping that having it tight would support me, without looking like a playboy bride. Around three weeks before the wedding I dropped weight quickly and rather unexpectedly. I was very stressed (mostly about the dress) but regardless, they took it in more. We had about 5 fittings and basically ran out of time. My mom also has a DD chest, but her seamstress in Maine had no problem fitting her. She not only was able to sew in DD cups in her dress, but she also made her a custom corset to go inside of the dress which supported her all night. I would have thought that after spending $7k and being at a premier salon in Chicago, that they would have the same resources as a seamstress in Maine??? The only thing I would change about my wedding was where I got my alterations done. The bust area of the dress basically collapsed very early on in the day (right after the ceremony) and because we made it so tight in efforts to support me, we couldn't pull it up or make any adjustments the day of to fix it. Such a nightmare. I remember doing my father daughter dance with my arm covering my chest. Not only did I feel totally insecure the entire night, but I also had deep cuts under both breasts and on my ribs. Definitely not a sign of a properly fitting dress. Bottom line...go here to buy your dress. If you have any special needs or concerns about the fit, especially relating to my issue, I would suggest taking your dress somewhere else for alterations. read more

Amazing experience this weekend saying yes to the dress here! This was my 2nd visit to the location. The staff were beyond friendly both visits. The woman I had the pleasure of working with was Taylor. She was an absolute gem!! She was extremely personable, kind and honest. I felt sincerity in her assistance and she made me feel so comfortable! It can be a long process and nerve wracking picking a dress for your day, she made the process fun and exciting. In 2014, my sister got married and got her bridesmaids dresses from Bella Bianca and had a wonderful experience! I'm getting married in September and decided to work with them again for my bridesmaids. This time around I'm completely disappointed in my experience. On July 14th I went to pick up my bridesmaids Haley Paige jumper and discovered that one in came in the wrong color. On August 1st I was informed that the jumper would not arrive till 8/29/17 to the store. My bridesmaid lives in another state, so it will not arrive to her till 8/30/17, at the earliest. I'm getting married on 9/22/17. This leaves around 2 weeks or so for alterations, which will need to happen since the jumpers have arrived almost 2 sizes too big for my bridesmaids. The disappointment that I have does not stem from the mistake that occurred, but how the situation was handled. Below I've outlined the reasons why: - I was the one that pointed out to my stylist that the jumper was the wrong color. They should have caught this the minute the jumpers arrived. Inventory is a crucial part of this type of business, why was this not caught sooner? It causes questioning on how they manage and track their inventory. - there was a lack of communication that occurred on their end. Over 2 weeks went by till I was informed when the jumper would actually arrive. I had to contact on 2 separate occasions to see what was going on. - no accountability was taken on their end till the last conversation I had with my stylist. When I first discovered the issue, just a causal apology was given to me, once, by the manager. At one point I even voiced my disappointment and frustration to my stylist on the phone, but it was completely disregarded. No "I'm sorry", no "I understand, no "this is what we are going to offer you for the inconvenience". Finally, during the last conversation was when they expressed that they are sorry this happened and told me the jumper would be refunded. I once again expressed my frustration to my stylist via email. Shortly after I received a call from the owner Melissa. She called to apologize for what happened and to address the concerns and discontents I voiced. She explained where they were coming on some of their actions and was understanding of my opinions. It was clear the company prides themselves on the good reputation they've established for great customer service and wants to do all they can to uphold that. In the end I did get a glimpse into the wonderful customer service people rave about, it's just unfortunate I did not receive that type of service throughout my experience in working with them. read more

Let the hunt for The Dress commence.... This place was the first stop (of many stops) in my search for that killer dream wedding dress. And, let me tell you, it definitely set the bar! If you are looking for that classy/upscale experience (even if you don't necessarily have the mega $$$$), this is the place to go. First off, the layout of this place is fantastic. It feels open and spacious, but some how contains a plethora of dresses. More importantly though they have the best dressing rooms...large open rooms w/ couches and your own personal pedestal and large mirror. Perfect place to put on that dress, do a spin, and make your own assessment prior to walking out in front of your friends and family. Furthermore, the area with seated said friends/family has a three way mirror/full length mirror and ONE pedestal, so you aren't standing directly next to other girls in their dresses. It is just special, little 'ole you ;) As for dresses, the selection is ample. I wanted to keep my dress around $3500 (hopefully under) and was concerned walking into this place they would have NOTHING to show me. Wrong! I tried on a bunch of beautiful gowns in different styles that looked well beyond my budget...but weren't. Awesome! read more

I bought my Alvina Valenta wedding gown & 7 bridesmaids dresses through them last month and I have mixed reviews on my experience. I worked with both the Oakbrook and Chicago store. The customer service & ambiance was amazing right from the beginning. They worked with me on pricing for my dress- sash & cap sleeves. I was very happy with everything. Then once everything was paid for and it was time to do my fitting- my thoughts on this place changed. The alterations were beyond expensive. (which is my fault for getting alterations done at a bridal place) but they had been so accomodating up to this I didnt think different. There was also a pair of earrings I had my eyes on that were a few hundered dollars and I asked during alterations if they could work with me on pricing at all- and I was told absoluetly not. So what started out as a great experience - ended with bad customer service once they got my full amount for the dress. My recommendation for this place- get all of your accessorries before you pay for the dress- and get your alterations done ANYWHERE else. read more
