I have been a client of Spa By Nikki since 2023 for eyebrow waxing services, but unfortunately the…read morescheduling reliability has become a recurring issue. Out of the nine appointments I have booked, four have been moved or rescheduled on the day of the appointment. One appointment was rescheduled twice, and another was rescheduled three separate times. The reasons given have included a flat tire, a migraine, and oversleeping. My most recent experience was especially disappointing. I intentionally booked the appointment less than 24 hours in advance, thinking that since the appointment had to be confirmed, there would be a better chance it would be honored as scheduled. Nikki confirmed the appointment at 4:00 PM the day before, but then contacted me the morning of the appointment asking to move it to a different time. Looking back, it seems that morning appointments were the ones most frequently canceled or rescheduled. While I understand that emergencies and unexpected situations can happen, the repeated pattern of same-day schedule changes over multiple years has made it difficult to rely on appointments and plan my own schedule. The quality of the eyebrow waxing service itself has been good, but professionalism also includes respecting clients' time and maintaining reliable scheduling. Unfortunately, the frequent last-minute changes have left me frustrated and unable to confidently book future appointments.

I drive 25 minutes out of my way EVERY time just to get waxed by Adri. My very first time getting waxed I wasn't sure if I was going to positively get a hard wax or not. I called Adri and left a message asking for an appointment. She called back within half an hour and explained the differences in waxing to me, which convinced me 100% to go with a hard wax. She then gave me a few tips on prep work and set up an appointment for the day I wanted. I went back a 2nd time and pre-paid for my third waxing already. She's awesome! Mind you I don't have anyone to compare her to, but I've heard stories from other salons and I think I'll be sticking with this one. Adri honestly seems to enjoy her work, she told me she learned to wax on herself! (Ouch.) She's always extremely nice and she takes her time making sure that everything looks perfect. She usually has her next customer waiting before my session is over but she never makes me feel rushed. She seems to be available on short notice as well, and will call back if anything opens up for the time you wanted. After my last appointment she even sent an email to thank me for choosing her salon. Her salon is small but beautiful, and always very clean. Overall, I'd definitely recommend her to anyone who asks. read more

This was 3rd time going to Bella Brazil to do the eyebrows microblading or/and touch-ups. The place is so serene, calming and clean. Adri is very friendly. She makes me feel welcome every time Adri is an amazing professional. She does a great job every single time, She shows you that she is using new instruments and open the packets in front of you. She is gentle and she makes sure that you are confortable and has no pain. You do not feel rush. Adri take her time to make sure the job is perfect and ask you during the process if you like it or if you want to do some changes. She also explains the after care procedure and makes sure you understand it. Several of my friends have become her customers after seeing how beautiful my eyebrows looked. I am very selective and usually I do no leave reviews but Bella Spa is a 5 star. I highly recommended it. I've been seeing Adri for about 2 years now. Located on 1761 GARNET AVE, SAN DIEGO this place is easy to miss if you're not looking for it. You walk-in to Bella Brazil and are immediately greeted by relaxing music. Adri has an assortment of skin care products that she sells from all products that she has personal experience with and recommends. This lady is so sweet and professional. I come for waxing services and have never had an issue with her at all! Always makes me feel super comfortable and relaxed for a not so fun Brazilian wax! You really can't beat that. For the treatment itself would be closer to 2.5-3 stars for these reasons: 1. I specified I was focused on an extraction facial however the extraction portion of my facial was less than 5 minutes. In the past I've had about 20-25 minutes spent on the extraction so this was very minimal. The steam machine was angled so far away from my face that I doubt it opened up many pores; I couldn't even feel the heat 2. I received a foot Massage which was unwelcome for several reasons, first I am there for a facial and if I need a foot massage I would go get a pedicure. Seemed a big waste of time for an experienced esthetician 3. Would have much preferred a paraffin treatment on my hands as that is more typical to receive with a facial. 4. Although I explained I needed a strong mask, I barely felt the 'sting' which I explained I am happy to endure some heat for the rewards, but seems that my mask was very weak. 5. Received a shoulder and next massage which was great, but again I was here for a facial not a massage or a pedicure. In short, this is a great place and I can see they care about their clients. Perhaps I am too picky but I rarely have time for a facial And wished I could have left there feeling a little more cleansed in my face. The focus on the foot and shoulder massage, which took over 50% of the treatment, left me wondering if I had really had a true facial after all.

I followed the instruction on ClassPass on how to enter her building. The door code wasn't working. I called the business number and twice and no answer. I texted and she responded with: " Hi, is this Leslie. I had you booked through ClassPass and they don't provide me with your phone number, only emails. Classpass should have notified you I cancelled, I I had to cancel due to an emergency." I was truly bummed as I planned my whole day around this appointment. I completely understand that this can happen; that's not the problem. She then offered me to come back. The day I wanted to come in she's actually off. Therefore, I didn't get back to her with a date. I texted her today asking if she happened to have availability tomorrow; trying to gauge if she could squeeze me in or have an opening. She never replied. I then texted her 6 hours later. She replied with: " Hello, I tried to resolve this on Saturday but you state you didn't have any availability this week. If you're like to rebook feel free to do so through Classpass! Again, I apologize for Saturday but it was an unforeseen circumstance." What a huge disappointment. This is not good business etiquette and extremely poor customer service. These services usually come with a cancellation fee; meaning if I had an "unforeseen circumstance" I'd be charged a fee - understandably so as it's only fair to pay the business for their time assuming said business could have booked another appointment to ensure income. Yet because my schedule is so tight and I couldn't give her an exact answer date - She is now refusing to provide me the complimentary service she promised me. Going back on her word.
