We went out there to look at veils and found that the bridesmaid dresses we wanted were about $30 cheaper than we found in Addison so we decided to go with Emma's. WORST MISTAKE EVER!!! Of 5 of the dresses ordered all except for 1 were anywhere from 4-8 dress sizes larger than what they should have been AND they came in in the wrong color. After bringing it to the shop owner's attention we were told that they had to be ordered that large because "the lining is much tighter throughout" and "there was no way we ordered a different color". We took our dresses because they were in and we had all either paid in full at the time it was ordered or paid half. After everything our alterations ended up costing more than what we paid for the dresses. You would think that was bad enough, but no. Once we were told that the veil was ready I authorized payment (including extra for shipping) and gave them a shipping address. A week later I called to check status of my shipment as I was concerned that I had yet to receive it and I came to find out that "the owner thought one of the assistants shipped it and vise versa". The only thing they did to correct it was to overnight it to me "at no extra charge". Save yourself the hassle and pay the few extra bucks and go where you've had or know someone who's had a great experience!!!

The dress I actually ordered was not even out yet (I had to order in November and it was a Spring 2012 style), but they were very helpful in putting me in a couple of dresses that had a similar style and fabric. They were honestly the only store that put me at ease in ordering a dress that I could not physically try on. I mainly worked with Melissa, but the owner is also really sweet and they did everything they could to help me out! Mary is the alteration's lady they used and she did a great job on my gown. She is really sweet and listened to what I wanted, my dress came out perfect thanks to her! They're atmosphere is pretty laid back. They don't require appointments and they even made accommodations for me to come in when the store was technically closed. I really enjoyed my experience with them and if they had the color for the bridesmaids dresses I was looking for I definitely would have ordered through them!

It was not even remotely close to what she had ordered and they forced her to pay it off knowing it was incorrect. They did not apologize and rushed her out saying they would order it again but it would take 6-8 weeks. They never offered any re-assurance or help to ease her nerves. We are now trying to figure out how to fix it and have a back up plan that they didn't even offer to help with because we cannot trust that the right dress will arrive in time.
