We went out there to look at veils and found that the bridesmaid dresses we wanted were about $30 cheaper than we found in Addison so we decided to go with Emma's. WORST MISTAKE EVER!!! Of 5 of the dresses ordered all except for 1 were anywhere from 4-8 dress sizes larger than what they should have been AND they came in in the wrong color. After bringing it to the shop owner's attention we were told that they had to be ordered that large because "the lining is much tighter throughout" and "there was no way we ordered a different color". We took our dresses because they were in and we had all either paid in full at the time it was ordered or paid half. After everything our alterations ended up costing more than what we paid for the dresses. You would think that was bad enough, but no. Once we were told that the veil was ready I authorized payment (including extra for shipping) and gave them a shipping address. A week later I called to check status of my shipment as I was concerned that I had yet to receive it and I came to find out that "the owner thought one of the assistants shipped it and vise versa". The only thing they did to correct it was to overnight it to me "at no extra charge". Save yourself the hassle and pay the few extra bucks and go where you've had or know someone who's had a great experience!!!

The dress I actually ordered was not even out yet (I had to order in November and it was a Spring 2012 style), but they were very helpful in putting me in a couple of dresses that had a similar style and fabric. They were honestly the only store that put me at ease in ordering a dress that I could not physically try on. I mainly worked with Melissa, but the owner is also really sweet and they did everything they could to help me out! Mary is the alteration's lady they used and she did a great job on my gown. She is really sweet and listened to what I wanted, my dress came out perfect thanks to her! They're atmosphere is pretty laid back. They don't require appointments and they even made accommodations for me to come in when the store was technically closed. I really enjoyed my experience with them and if they had the color for the bridesmaids dresses I was looking for I definitely would have ordered through them!

The location: far North Dallas (maybe even Plano?) located in private lot which looks like a house converted into the gorgeous boutique. It looked so homey from the parking lot we were getting excited to walk in. Service: we were instantly greeted with smiling faces, even though they were busy with tons of appointments and clients. We never felt like we were a burden. Addie made us feel so comfortable while she scouted for dresses for the bride to try on and, we fell in love with the very first one. It was as if she read my sister's mind. It was perfect! Addie also explained so much about the bridal dress industry and alleviated so many stressors about time and tailoring. The last trip I made, I came in just for the final fitting with my shoes- thought we were good to go. The dress was shipped to our fashion designer who accepted it and got it all to the venue. When i got dress, it had not been hemmed- 5 inches too long. It had to be stapled or i would not have been able to wear it! When asked about the incident, she said I had not come in with my shoes which was simply not true. I paid a total of $4000 extra for alterations on a custom dress! She refused to take any responsibility for it and blamed it on me. I think she is an amazing designer, but i really got screwed-proceed with caution!

DeLayna went out of her way to create the most incredible moment! It brought tears and I'm still incredulous. She ran out, THE DAY OF, to get Prosecco, a dozen white roses and a gift bag full of cherished delights so my daughter would have an amazing fitting. After having terrible experiences, being a plus-sized bride-to-be, we pulled our business from one bridal salon. We had appointments at so many others around the country, but they were so -meh-. Every bride-to-be deserves a fabulous experience, you know? We were concerned and quite nervous after falling in love with Nardos Design online... until this fitting happened. What a moment! The experience was totally a dream! My daughter felt like a princess! The dress (muslin) was so incredible, we all cried (including her maid of honor who we were on FaceTime with)!
