I really can't recommend this place enough. As a plus-sized/mid-sized bride, finding a bridal salon that could accommodate me without stuffing me in a Glade trash bag-esque dress was difficult (yes, this did happen lol). If you are mid-size or higher - this is the place for you. I told the stylist in the consult that I was a bit sensitive about certain things and styles that I was uncomfortable with. We discussed my budget, as well. I was never forced into a dress that would make me uncomfortable. I was never showed any dress that I could not afford. This was the first time I have ever felt comfortable shopping for clothes. Ever. In. My. Life. They are very up-front with costs. They don't BS or hide things. We did a full consult on alterations and I decided that it didn't fit the budget. And it was no big deal. There was no high-pressure sale. Nothing! Was so impressed with the pre-appointment process, but the actual appointment was horrible. Even though I gave my accurate size and picked out dresses ahead of time, they remeasured me incredibly tightly, digging the measuring tape into my stomach and loosening it little by little but still was incredibly tight when she decided it was accurate even though I said it was still tight and my stomach was visibly pouching on both sides of the tape, and it was 45 MINUTES into my appointment time (30 once we were seated in the room because the bride before us went over) that I was offered two dresses to try on - one that was completely not a style I wanted, and another that was so tight I was in pain, and the fitter seemed to not care at all as I complained how tight it was as she put it on. Then Twenty Minutes Later they brought out a third dress that again was a style I had specifically said I did not want, and a fourth dress that was beautiful and fit, but by then, things had been going so horribly, we were done. For all the pre-appointment work, I had expected them to have dresses lined up or at least identified of which they would pull. Not waiting 45 minutes for the first dress. I could not have had a better experience at Bliss! The store is set up so that you have your own private area, and it's so spacious. I had accidentally messed up my appointment and they were able to get me in same day. Lexie was everything and then some - absolutely obsessed with her!!! I had told her everything I was looking for in a dress, and as I had pulled up their Instagram page to show her a dress I wanted to try she already had it in her hands - and it was THE dress. After I said yes to the dress she gave me so much time to just be in my dress, FaceTime my best friend that couldn't make it, and even offered us champagne to celebrate! I went to bliss bridal for my third dress store. I had found one I loved previously at another store but just wanted to make sure it was the one. Every dress I tried on at bliss was compared to the previous dress. Our stylist ( I believe her name was Veronica) was amazing at asking questions about our venue, colors, decor. As even just learning about me and my fiancés story. She showed me alteration options and everything imagine-able. She was so personable and picked amazing options for me. Finally she told me, ' I think you've already found your dress. We can keep trying others on but none are going to compare to YOUR dress.' Then I had my yes moment. Tears came and we celebrated. While I didn't find my dress at bliss, I did say YES there! I so wish I could've supported them and bought one there. But I can give them a glowing review and pass on my incredible experience. Talk about your diamond in the rough! I am fortunately a bridesmaid to three different weddings this year and so i've come very accustomed to the different bridal attire shops in the DFW. I knew the area that it was located in and it made me a little skeptical to the amount of quality and selection we were going for. Pulling up to the back parking did not make me feel better about the shop either. I realize that you can get your car stolen anywhere, but I was still a bit hesitant letting the time go by while visiting this store. As I walked to the storefront, I noticed that it's actually kind of nice (old town glamour-esque). It was situated adjacent to 4-5 other stores within the shopping mall (all of them tailored to special events such as photography and custom bakery). Upon entering, I was blown away with what the interior offered. I immediately felt an industrial, chic and sexy vibe from this establishment. There are four semi private rooms that have a sitting area, large mirror and pedestal for the future bride or whomever to gawk at themselves in the mirror. Selection: Before arriving, the bride to be told the person the color we were going for (bridesmaid dresses), and so they had dresses pre-pulled and waiting for us in the dressing room. Considering the odd color, there was such a huge selection to choose from. The attendant helped us in and out of the dresses (which sounds creepy, but considering the number of straps and such, it was very helpful.) Ordering/Price Point: The dresses were similarly priced online and the shipping was about 6-8 weeks for the dresses we chose. Checkout was seamless, and at the front counter, there's a photo booth all of the bridesmaids to pose ridiculously in. Good experience for all. read more

Well our experience was not so good! My daughter is the Bride-to-Be and she had heard good reviews about this place and booked and appointment. When we got there it was as if they did little to no preparations for her. There were a handful of dresses and most not even in the ballpark of her desired style. The dressing rooms were small, the staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming. As the maid of honor and I looked around for alternatives I was made to feel that I was breaking all the rules by even asking if we could try other dresses we saw. The "manager" I think, was extremely rude to me. And being the Mother-of-the-Bride, I felt I would be treated with a little more respect. 3 times I was confronted and "put in my place". We had a 2 hour appointment which ended 30 minutes early due to the lack of dresses we were presented. Not a single dress came close to fitting her. The one dress she "liked" (mainly because we only saw 7) had to be ordered. That's when they began to put the pressure on her saying she needed to make a decision soon to allow for delivery and alterations. Mind you we were there in June 2022 and her wedding is not until Many 2023, 11 months is more than enough time. There were 4 in her party and I can say we all walked out unimpressed by the entire experience. It's sad to have a stressful experience at an event that requires much patience, understanding and respect. I would not recommend this place to anyone! read more

Im a super last minute bride, like 5 days away from the big day. Maria was helping me and she picked out soooo many beautiful gowns but most didn't fit. We got down to the last two and found it. It was so comfy and made me feel beautiful. For a second I was hesitant but she came back with ammmaaaaazing news and we sealed the deal. I would say maybe an hour or less and I found my gown. I have no idea why their reviews are low on yelp, but don't let that fool you. Go for yourself. Beautiful location too Updating: experience was great but beware, if you're buying off the floor to really INSPECT your gown. I got home and a few days I opened my dress and found about an inch tear of tulle near the zipper. I wish my sales consultant saw this when she was helping me zip me up! I had my appointment last Saturday and what a day it was! My stylist was Michelle. She was fantastic! She read my interview prior to me coming in and pulled gowns that definitely matched everything on my Pinterest board. She was so kind and thoughtful, not pushy at all. At Bliss, the stylist pulls all the gowns you try on, you do not go through racks of dresses and pull them yourself. She could tell which designer I was in love with (Essence of Australia) and hit the nail on the head when she picked mine out. I only had to try on 6 dresses before finding the "one". In the back of my mind, I wondered how many more amazing gowns they have back there, but I also think less is more. It is very easy to get overwhelmed during this experience and Michelle did an amazing job of not letting that happen. If I had her pull more amazing gowns I don't think I ever would have made a decision. I did have another appointment later that day, but I knew the dress here was the dress to beat. Ultimately, I came back after my other appointment to try on the dress one more time before saying "YES". I went into this appointment nervous that I would hate the way I looked in everything and left feeling the complete opposite. There's a reason this salon is so highly recommended! The room for my party was semi-private and comfortable, plenty of space for your guests. What would have been a magical moment turned into an experience no bride should encounter. My sister had been inside days prior and tried on the the dress that she fell in love with. At that time, with the consultant, she said she'd like to make another appt with her bridal party. The consultant said absolutely and they booked the appointment. We come to the appointment all excited yesterday (7/9). The first consultant tells us, oh you are only allowed 6. That was never mentioned when she told the first consultant(Jazmine), never mentioned that. So this consultants says okay give me just one moment and I will see what the owner can do. The owner literally comes out and has this (I'm over it) look. She comes and is literally 1.5 ft from my sisters face and says "sorry, you can only have 5 (the consultant just said 6), and that is the way it is. We can't just do for some and not for others it's just the way it is so I'm sorry." Proceeds to take a side step as if we are dismissing us to leave. Then does this whole wave with her hand and said you should have reserved the private room as it is documented all over our website for large parties. It's $100 and that's final. Without even batting an eyelash I said okay $100, I'll cover it. Online it says for the bridal experience+extra guest (2 hours and a bottle of sparkling cider). My sisters name is Brittanie but instead of looking at their schedule with the name of the bride on it, they called out Ashley (my name), and asked if we are ready. I corrected her and said Brittanie is your scheduled bride. We go into this big OPEN non private room that is literally to the left of the front entrance. response to Sierras post she says "Brittanie is the only one to try on the dress" but she claims to also have this as a "hot commodity dress". ANYTHING TO LIE, steal and cheat their way because my sister fell in love with THE dress. As a business owner myself, I could never ever imagine such a disgusting way to treat people. How embarrassing for a company let alone a freaking bridal experience from HELL! It would also be nice to be refunded since we never received a bridal experience at all. No drinks were offered, no legit private room, and the dress kept getting higher and higher. I'm sure you'll respond like a narcissistic company with victim mentality would. You did my sister so dirty and I will make sure others know. You should make sure that every foot that steps into your business is welcomed. Being that cancel culture is the new current thing and you never know if you have a 2m+ followers influencer stepping in who can have the entire world seeing what you did. Just so you know, we had a wonderful experience at Bridal Boutique in downtown Lewisville. We paid $100 more (going based off of their last price given), brand new, not used. We had the best experience along with champagne, water and a consultant who ran to their sister store to get the perfect dress. We also paid for a brand new dress, not off the rack. IT WAS ALSO A FREE EXPERIENCE AND WAYYYY MORE SELECTION. THEY KNEW HER NAME AND DATE OF HER WEDDING. Don't waste your your time with Bliss, it was everything but a blissful experience. Marie was very attentive and listened to the bride to determine the perfect dress. She found a favorite but wanted to continue looking. Since we had an appointment at another salon we had to leave, but as soon as we were through, she said, let's go back to Bliss. We called and they said we could come in an hour. I absolutely loved my experience at Bliss! The service was exceptional! From the moment we walked in, I really felt like the star. This was the only wedding gown shop that really dived in deep before the appointment. I got to choose my favorite gowns online and "heart" them so my stylist had an idea of what kind of dress I wanted. I also got a call beforehand to go more over details, including personalities of the guests I planned to bring. They were extremely thorough, which I loved. On the actual appointment day, my stylist was quick to find dresses that fit my style and she was quick at getting me in and out of them so I could find "the one." This was the first store I went to, so the efficiency and quickness really helped me get a quick idea of what exactly I was looking for. Towards the end of my appointment, I was stuck between two gowns, so I scheduled a retry for the next day so I could sleep on it. Unfortunately, I did end up finding "the one" at another store later that day. BUT I will gladly recommend Bliss to anybody! read more

I really thought I had found something great when I found Bliss Bridal. It only took a couple dresses to find the one I loved. They were super awesome about getting me in and helping me find the perfect dress. Then I got measured for my dress and I as a first time bride listened to their recommendations. Do know they do not offer alterations, only options to take your dress to. I didn't think that would be a problem because it's a custom fit dress that take 6 months on average to get back to you from ordering. I order the size recommended (strongly) by the ordering manager. I paid to order my dress and thats where the customer service ended. Fast forward 3.5 months later, my dress comes in (SO EXCITED) and they email me to let me know but along with saying that there is a 100 dollar fee if you keep it there for more than 20 days of gown arrival. That was not told to me when I ordered my dress, I thought I would have more time to pay for my dress. It was not inexpensive and for a young woman paying for it myself, I really appreciated the fact of being being able to do it in 2 even payments. I make my appointment to pick up my dress and bring my mom who has not seen the dress and it was such an underwhelming moment. IT WAS HUGE. 2-3 sizes to big and I had not fluctuated weight. Alterations didn't seem like a big deal until they have to take it in 2-3 sizes. When the consultant saw my dress was too big they grabbed their manager (without me asking) because they saw a problem. From then on they were very unhelpful and I paid for my dress and all I wanted was for someone to make it right. It took 5 days after my appointment to hear back from someone and I was told 2 options, I can pay ANOTHER 300 dollars to restock and order a new dress or take as is and get it altered because they say these dresses are made to be resized and built...but why would I wait 6 months for a custom fit dress and pay a pretty penny to have to pay another 600 dollars in alterations. That doesn't make sense. After talking back and forth they decided to not blame me for okaying the size they recommended STRONGLY BY BLISS (even though they are the professionals), they reordered my dress and I waited another 3-4 months. I would call them to check on my reordering process but I was rushed off the phone and told to refer to my contract as it takes 6 months. I know was known to them as a problem customer instead of an excited bride expecting what she tried on. How sad. I wasn't asked to take the picture after I picked up my dress, just escorted to my car very nicely. Now I have had my dress only for a 2-3 weeks and now my wedding is in 11 weeks even though I ordered my dress with plenty of time and I need to have my dress altered which I was always aware of because they made that very clear. Alterations on average 10-12 weeks. How am I going to do my bridals? Not once did Bliss Bridal take responsibility for over sizing me and pushing time constraints. read more

Pros: beautiful bridal gowns, clean interior building Cons: location is in high crime area, walk-ins not welcome, by appointment only even to just pay and go for a dress, limited choices on bridesmaid dresses, unable to browse gowns and attendant must bring to you in room (you can browse choices on an iPad), attendant must be in fitting room while you undress and try on different dress choices, took 60 days for dress (that was rush order), requests $25 storage fee if held over 20 days even if they fail to notify you that dress was ready (they entered in my email address wrong while ordering and were hesitant to waive the late fee when I objected), unable to try on dress before you finish paying for it (I paid 1/2 up front in October when I ordered and remainder on 1/19/18 at pickup), forcibly walks dress out of building to your car (even if you ask to carry your dress out). Please note: When I questioned some of these practices they told me that they valued the customer experience and that's why these rules are in place. News flash...you failed in that area! Oh and the dress fits horribly so I'll now need to pay a tailor to alter it. read more

I purchased my dress from my home state but am needing alterations in dfw. My salon suggested I call salons and they'd give me their alterations recommendations since I am not familiar with the area. I call and am on hold for 5 minutes when someone else comes back to the line to say try google we spend a lot of time making the list of our tailors and we don't give out their information if you didn't purchase from us. I have a lot of friends who loved their experience with Bliss so I booked them first when looking for my own dress. I would recommend it to my own friends and family, but I would have to make sure and explain what happened to me so they were aware of problems to avoid with their own experience. I had a really hard time picking my dress and the woman helping me, Hope, was phenomenal. She was so kind and patience. On my second time back though to try on my dress again, another sales women came in to help Hope and I personally felt extremely pressured into my dress from this woman. I ended up buying the dress I felt she wanted me to buy even though it was 1k over my price range. Next, I had to purchase a custom fitting for an extra $300 that I was not made aware of until I had already signed my contract and put my down payment on the dress. The custom fitting was apparently due to the specific dress I ordered... still not super clear on that. THEN, my custom fit dress finally comes in and I go to pick it up and it does not fit... Now I am the first to admit that I could have gained weight and it was my fault... but due to the upcoming wedding I had been weighing in and measuring my body every week to turn into a certified dietician I hired and I know my measurements were not far enough off for the dress to literally not fit when it was a custom fit dress. When I got to the women who is doing my alterations she informed me based on my measurements and the dress she was almost positive they had measured wrong... Now on top of the 1k over budget dress, 300 for custom fitting and the stress of the dress not fitting, I have to pay another $313 for the alterations to the dress. Lastly, the bustle was broken apparently upon pickup. The sales women at Bliss never bustled the dress the day I picked it up and when the alterations person went to bustle it, the elastic part was ripped in half. If I could do it again, I would go to Bliss, but I would prepare myself to be stronger on my budget and with which dress I want. I would also ask far more questions about the final price the dress would be with the possibility of custom fitting. Ask for Hope if you go! I called today to set up an appointment for my daughter to try on wedding dresses. She is the only girl in our family and the groom has only brothers. So, we wanted to have a total of 5 ladies including the bride there, mother of bride, grandmother of bride, matron of honor, and mother of groom. They would not allow it. Are you kidding me? They sent this very pretentious confirmation email stating only 4 could be present PERIOD...as if we would not be appropriate when shopping for thie perfect dress. Now, we are all clothes horses, this group. We have one former model in the group, all very classy ladies from Southern roots complete with impeccable manners. We have shopped all over the world and have many designers labels hanging in our closets. This was just insulting beyond words! Rudeness and arrogance from any merchant toward today's customers, well, in my opinion should not be tolerated. There are other fine bridal stores in and around the Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas area. We are going to certainly go elsewhere. Still, I think others should know about this very unpleasant and highly unprofessional business in Fort Worth, Texas. Not the best experience. The lady who helped us seemed almost irritated to be doing her job. I knew several friends that have bought their dress from Bliss, so I was excited to see for myself. Their selection was good, but nothing I tried on had the WoW factor I was going for. Then, I found a fit and flare that I loved, and when I went to try it on again - she argued with me and told I told her I didn't like it, so she sent it back. It was very bizarre because I felt like I almost had to defend my answer to someone who should be making this a fun experience. And a weird rule - you are only allowed a top 3 selection, then they will put on a veil and belt. I wanted to see a dress with a belt, and she said I could only do it once I picked the top 3. And only when I picked those top 3 dresses is when we could take any pictures, too. One of my bridesmaids finally showed a picture of a dress I tried on at a different store, and she said, ugh that actually looks ratty, but I will see what I can find. And my sister asked about one dress being in my budget, and the lady looked at her and said, don't worry about it, she's fine. My family and I felt extremely brushed off like our requests were almost annoying. I don't know, it was just not a fun experience like I was hoping for. We, also, had just left an appointment at a different store where we had a blast shopping for dresses, and the experience at Bliss was just the complete opposite. My consultant was Mackenzie and her "shadow" (it was her first day working there) was Stephanie and they were both as sweet as could be! I didn't expect to find my dress today since it was my first appointment, first time looking at dresses, and the third one I tried on was THE one! I wanted a long sleeve dress, which I know is hard to find, and Mackenzie had a great idea of bringing me a sleeveless dress with adding sleeves later in alterations, I never would've thought of that! Go here as a last resort. And be sure you make an appointment otherwise it is a waste of your time. I suggest 2 other salons at the bottom of my review if you are looking for suggestions. I first went to Bliss while looking for my bridal gown. We arrived early and were happy to wait until our turn, but the staff seemed to be VERY upset we were early. We decided to look at the bridesmaid dresses that were at the front and we were rudely stared at as if we were not allowed to look. Once they were ready to have me I discovered that all of the dresses were kept in the center of the salon where there are signs noting not to enter without an associate. My mom, soon to be mother-in-law and friend were not allowed to go look at the dresses with me and I was able to only point or mention that I would like to try a dress on whenever the associate pulled one out that I was interested in. I understand if you want to keep your dresses in great condition, but that is what the clear bags are for. The woman helping me came off rude occasionally. Overall I found my dress elsewhere. A couple of months later I went searching for a flower girl dress and just wanted to get some ideas to see what was out there. I was near Bliss and thought I could stop in for 2 minutes, look at the dresses and decide if it was a no or a maybe. Just like last time, as soon as I entered I was given a look like I shouldn't be there. Once I said I didn't have an appointment (for a flower girl dress are you serious?!) I was told I could not be helped an needed to make an appointment. They clearly did not want my business at all. What seemed to be the store manager or owner came up and told me that the ONE woman who knew about flower girl dresses was busy and he did not want me looking at them without someone knowledgeable. All I wanted was to see if they had anything worth looking into. I immediately turned around and left. Seriously, don't go here unless you absolutely have exhausted all other options. De ma Fille is by far my top choice in Fort Worth and I would even suggest Pence & Penache in Burleson as they are both incredibly nice and helpful, with or without an appointment. read more

Please save yourself the trouble and heartache. Almost all of my bridesmaids dresses are too big. They are doing/did nothing to help. One of my bridesmaids dress is 4 sizes too big! We have no idea how to fix this or where to go! They should be paying for each and every alteration at this point! I might be losing a bridesmaid bc she can't afford $150 worth of alterations! I read some reviews after I had booked an appointment for my daughter to go and look ok for her wedding dress. Let me just say that people should just stop with their pettiness. Bliss Bridal is obviously serious about what they do. No you cannot walk around and put you hands all over the dresses, but if you have an appointment, the person assigned to you will spend time talking to you to get an idea of your taste. That person will then bring out some options. My daughter simply gave some must haves and some absolute never want to wear type of description. Our attendant brought out dresses, she tried them on, and our group critiqued (and I do mean their were some "ohhh that is beautiful" and some "never put that on again" moments). After explaining what she liked about dresses and didn't like about some dresses she had on our attendant would pull more dresses. We found a dress we all loved, but my daughter did not want to commit because that was the first place visited. So our attendant wrote down the the information about the dress and gave us her business card, all with a smile. You need to know this because people make it seem like they are just rude. Now believe me when I say they are serious cause they have rules or should I say a standards and if you cannot respect that or even why then you should buy your dress off eBay. We shopped around and I let my daughter compare her options because we (her parents) are only paying for one wedding dress and there are no take backies. She decided on the dress from Bliss. I made a simple call and had them call her for information. (Sorry, I forgot to mention that my daughter had to fly into Texas for a day of dress hunting and wedding decisions) So they called her for dress information and the she told them they had to call me for the money. When they called me back I had to laugh because I/we are the purse. The dress and the service is top of the line. The dress arrived in enough time to have it altered (the smallest size was too big) and bridal photos weeks before the wedding. I have recommended Bliss to friends and they too were pleased. The WORST bridal store I have ever dealt with. They do carry beautiful merchandise but I have been a bridesmaid in 7 other weddings and I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with every other bridal shop. They are literally the rudest people I have ever spoken with. I was trying to order a bridesmaid dress and after charging my card they let me know they can't order the dress. I tell them to refund me and I am going to order somewhere else and they hang up and call the maid of honor and say that I am going to mess up all the color of the dresses if I order mine from somewhere else because they need to be made on the same roll of fabric. I called several other bridal shops and they said this isn't even true - the bridal shop has no control over what roll of fabric the manufacturer uses! The saleswomen are clearly not knowledgeable, they are INCREDIBLY rude and I would NEVER recommend even going into their store. They are pretentious, contemptuous and overall very unpleasant people to deal with. Needless to say, I was in tears by the end of my interaction with them. DO NOT GO TO BLISS BRIDAL! read more
