Working with Mia and her excellent team for each event has been a truly delightful and seamless experience. Mia goes above and beyond to meet your every need, and I appreciate the elegant yet laid back feel of the venue. The food and bar offerings and service are great, and I love how they take care of every details - from linens to tables and chairs to catering... and free parking! After touring and debating between 20+ other wedding venues, we ultimately chose Bella Collina for our wedding this past April and are so happy that we did! It is such a beautiful place, being nestled in a valley with hills and trees surrounding. The tree-lined driveway feels grand and like you're being transported to another world. I also loved the tiered circular amphitheatre area for the ceremony. I appreciated how private the place was overall, being a distance away from surrounding neighborhoods and businesses and with the golf mostly ending by the time the ceremony started. Parking was extremely easy for guests, and the staff and coordinators were friendly and helpful, providing support and information throughout the planning. We appreciated the pleasant menu tasting experience, multitude of photo spots, delicious food, and overall service provided. golf course has no signs btw holes. It's super confusing . Bathroom has no doors and no signs. The women's locker room is like a puzzle with no signs which door is toilet which door is shower. Also the bathroom on course has no sign of women and men. read more

On February 20th 2023 I came to eat with a friend of mine, I try the ribs and chicken ,I took a bite of the chicken but it was raw a few minutes later I start feeling sick ,I went to the restroom and I threw up couple times After that I decide to go home. Words can't express what I feel when I think about our wedding day. It was beyond perfect and everything we wanted. Bella Collina is magical and all of our guests complimented the venue, food and service. Everyone had such a good time! It made my heart happy to see everyone out on the dance floor or chatting enjoying their drinks by the bar. Karen and Elisa went above and beyond for us. Karen even ran to Target for me for sticky tape to make sure I didn't fall out of my wedding dress. And Elisa literally put so much work into making our day perfect. I trusted her from Day 1. There's a thief here.....Our company had a golf tournament here in October. Towards the end we headed back to the cart/bag drop off area. We took our bags off of our carts and placed them on the bag rack in front of the pro shop/employee garage area. I asked one of the many younger course employee's hanging around that area if our bags were to be okay there during the time we were at the closing ceremony since our car hadn't arrived yet, we had no choice but to leave them outside since golf-bags aren't allowed inside. The course employee said "ya, no problem". I figured since it was a Private country club, closed to the members, only people there was our group and course employees. Most importantly I noticed a CAMERA right above the employee garage pointing right in the direction of the cart drop off and metal bag stands, i figured that it would be okay. Long story short, we came out later and loaded our bags in the car and I had noticed that my Scotty Cameron putter was stolen out of my bag. I returned the next day, pro shop manager told me that the specific CAMERA WAS NOT WORKING. I found it convenient that the only camera that didn't work was that one and the only people hanging around that area were the young course employees screwing around since we weren't members, just a group attending a tournament. I gave it a few days for them to investigate, with no Results and said that i was on my own. Shortly after they called me and offered me a putter from the pro shop at their wholesale price. I declined. After spending a ton of money at the course that day the last thing i wanted to do was spend another penny at a place where my putter was stolen from. My thoughts are that my putter going missing was an inside job. Person who took it knew that the camera wasn't working. read more

We booked Bella Collina prior to the Covid debacle of 2020. We had to reschedule from our original date to another date and then finally another date which came to fruition. Karen Smiley was extremely helpful at helping us navigate the wedding venue through a global pandemic. She had lots of ideas, was very friendly and very organized. We ended up using our own wedding coordinator, but we did work a lot the last month with Mia to help ensure the venue and our plan were in sync. I can't say enough about the value in having This beautiful venue to utilize for the wedding, ceremony cocktail party and reception. There are so many options since you have the whole venue to yourself and they have so many rooms to help your guests transition from one part of the event to the next. If you have someone looking for the feel of Temecula but the ease of orange county, this is the venue. I got so many positive comments about their stellar service, delicious food, natural beauty of the venue and ease in utilizing all that it has to offer, that I was extremely happy with everything. I feel that it is a very good value for your dollar. I'm a member, invited 3 guests for Cigar Night after 9 holes of golf. My guests talked about the dinner for days after. Absolutely perfect, our server Karen was super attentive from cocktails through dessert. It has been well over a month since our wedding reception at Bella Collina and I am still dreaming about it. The staff, food, venue = amazing. My husband and I live in Nashville, TN but decided to get married in San Clemente because it's my hometown and where we met. We immediately fell in love with Bella Collina because it reminded us of the rolling hills of Tuscany. We had a long-ish engagement (2 years) so there was plenty of time to visit and plan before the wedding. We worked primarily with Karen and Elisa. Both were very communicative and responsive to any questions that we had. Planning a wedding from 2,000 miles away is no easy task but they were there to help whenever possible. We ended up hiring Elisa to be our Day Of Coordinator and she was AWESOME. Her and her team handled the set up, guiding our vendors/guests, and tear down. It was so nice to not have to worry about anything venue-related on our wedding day because I knew it was all in good hands. The food at our wedding was excellent. We had several guests comment on how delicious it was. Usually, wedding food can be hit or miss but the chef at Bella Collina really knocked it out of the park for our wedding. It was so wonderful to get texts from family members and friends the next day complimenting the food! Overall, our experience with Bella Collina was an excellent one. My girlfriend recently had her thai-hawaiian themed wedding at Bella Collina. It's a beautful venue within a posh golf course. Very foufou. Loved everything about the venue with exception to their bridal suite. It was very cramped, with poor lighting definitely not a great place to capture bridal memories. I think the pictures myself and others posted are worth a thousand words. One piece of advice (as price ranges can be hard to find without going through the process of getting an official quote), although I'm sure their prices change from year to year (and by season) you can probably expect to spend around $15,000 (give or take a couple grand) to have a plated dinner for around 200 guests. We provided steak, chicken Marsala, salmon, and a vegan Asian infused pasta dish. Wine with dinner and champagne for toasts. Open (?) bar and 2 tray passed appetizers, including a cheese display. Food was really good and the staff can give you a taste test. The staff also worked with us to try and stay on budget... Honestly my parents had a budget of $10,000 (for the entire wedding ), but splurging on Bella Collina was WORTH EVERY PENNY (I just don't know how long it'll take us to pay it all off.... luckily both my parents and in-laws helped out financially ). read more

Absolutely LOVE this place! My husband and I got married here in 2011 and it was the best decision we made. I'm a wedding planner so finding a "hidden gem" was at the top of my list. Not only was the venue absolutely gorgeous, but the food was amazing! I think it was actually better than what we had during our tasting. They customized our entire menu and our guests still rave about the food to this day. If you're looking for a beautiful venue with great food and service, you've found it! I've been here twice for two separate non-golf occasions and each time was a spectacular and beautiful visit. Bella Collina is right off of the 5 south off one of those Ave exits. It is easy to miss the exit and the best way is to really get back onto the 5 north and exit the right way. So you're driving up the hill, past power lines and slightly bigger business buildings, and you might just be thinking to yourself... "wow.. where is this place." Well, don't worry. It's on your left side, at the top of the hill, with a simple but nice sign of "Bella Collina". The first time that I arrived here, I came with my ex's mother. She works for Coto and for our particular night out, it was pasta night! The clubhouse was quiet and very few golfers were around and probably less than 20 heads in total for the pasta dinner, but it was very innovative. I loved how they arranged it and the chef creating our multiple pasta dishes was very innovative. I later tried to assemble and duplicate it at home; it was just as perfect! This second time was this past Saturday, before Easter Sunday. My family and I came by to celebrate the wedding of a face that's been in my life for a while. While it may have been a number of factors that made this wedding perfect, I believe it may have been the beautiful and simplistic attention that Bella Collina gave. From the first step to the wedding ceremony to the last step out of the dance floor, the service was top notch from day one. As a guest of the wedding (and of many, in the past!), there were no visible hitches. I have no complaints. This place is beautiful once you park. This course is in over its head. They pump up the Gary Player link and I'm sure that he would want nothing to do with this place now. The course is somewhat unique with some nice holes and the vistas are really beautiful but its condition is horrible. The driving range is a spotty grass/mud field with no real targets, crappy old balls and mats although there is grass we couldn't use. The greens have a ton of sand blotches and ball marks and weren't cut the days I played there. Tee boxes were uneven and you could be standing in a depression or a slope most of the times. Bunkers either had no sand (most), or maybe too much, and a few of their rakes will give you fiber glass splinters (they need to be replaced badly). The areas around the greens are generally burnt out and rock hard. There is no water on the course (to drink - coolers), and the snack bar wasn;t open when we played one day. As the lady posted back in March, I shouldve taken pics but why do I want pics of a badly maintained golf course? There are pics of the course in the clubhouse from way back and those look pretty nice --- Mr Player don't come back now you'll cry! The clubhouse is okay but needs a makeover for the 2020s. I spoke with a couple of members and I don;t think they have belonged to another private club. What they think is great is below par at most private golf clubs --- pro shop, course, practice facilities. I'm just moving up here from SD and I can scratch it off the list read more
