And to make it easy on people that tend to shy away from not knowing the protocol at a new place: the menu can be found online somewhere on social media I believe, and stays mostly the same, but you need to actually go there to see what it is exactly for that day. Cash only, you walk up and order and wait. Each sub comes with choice of chips or drink, and it's something of the honor system with grabbing your chips/drink and checking out (which will make more sense when you see things for yourself). Don't expect to deal with exact change in coins or anything. Kind of treat it like lemonade stand rules - good people just round up to nice even increments and say thank you.

When our friends got there we decided to order 2 of the sampler platters so that we could get a good benchmark. The sampler came with 4 sides so we went with seasoned fries, mac n cheese, brussel sprouts, and potato salad. The other things that were included in the sampler were corn bread, ribs, brisket, and pulled pork. The ribs were phenomenal and I would definitely just order these stand alone next time. The brisket was also very tasty. The pulled pork was average, in my opinion, so I am counting that as a miss. The sides were all good, with the exception of the corn bread. I though that it was under cooked and didn't match the hype. Overall a killer late lunch/early dinner and this would have probably been a 5* review if I had just ordered the ribs with the seasoned fries and subbed the corn bread with any other side that we tried. We will definitely be back.

I have been eating at Bella Gusto for several years. I am absolutely thrilled with the food, ambiance, and staff. Renee and Tom are always incredibly gracious and accommodating to *everyone*. I have yet to have anything I wasn't 100% thrilled with. The entrees are wonderful, and there are always such delicious options for dessert (TIP...try the Nutella, honey and banana grilled sandwich on the kid's menu for dessert, trust me... you'll thank me for that recommendation ). If you haven't tried a pinza, you really need to--the crust has 1/3 the calories of regular pizza crust, and is light, airy and very tasty. They offer curbside service, along with dining inside. Additionally, they have several large tables for outside dining as well. Lastly, there is also a wonderful mini-store inside so you can pick up groceries to make your own delicious dinner at home, with only the highest-quality deli items and ingredients. read more

This is my favorite restaurant in Oconomowoc. It's a quaint place you can enjoy a great meal, whether it's a pizza or pinsa or any of their other many delicious Italian dishes. The owners treat all their customers like family. They welcome you when you come in and stop by and chat while you are there. Whenever we have friends or family from out of town, we always take them to Bella Gusto so they can experience this great family business in our town. This restaurant was a little known secret of our town but now the secret is out. I really enjoyed this place. I am from Watertown and there is nothing like this around there. Pizza was the best I have had since living on the East Coast. Love the atmosphere and the service was excellent. One of the owners came up and introduced themselves to my wife and I and explained some of the menu and their history. Made both of us feel like we were at home. Tried Bella Gusto Pizza recently, and overall it was a solid experience. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the crust had a nice texture--crispy on the edges and soft in the middle. It wasn't my personal favorite style of pizza, but it was still enjoyable and made well. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were super kind and helpful. We love Bella Gusto Italian Market!!! A family friendly restaurant or gathering with friends we have enjoyed. Our favorite pizza in Lake Country.
