Lobby is nicely decorated, out side is nice as well. Occupancy is 51.. They provide outside seating as well . Music fits the theme. Wine celebration is wonderful. Had the riesling that paired very well with my white sauce ravioli. Lobby is clean and organized and inviting. Our waitress Jessica was so sweet, knowledgeable & we appreciated her recommendations. Since they're only open in the evenings, I didn't even realize they were still operating until I recently read that they were selling the property. I decided to try it with my out of town guests. Should have gone there alone first. My guests loved their ravioli, but you know, shrimp is incredibly easy to cook correctly - mine was so overdone it was chewy. One and done for me. read more

I visited Bella Italia for dinner after a local conference. The interior is very Italian and the main seating area wasn't too crowded with tables. I was seated quickly and had attentive service throughout my dinner. I had to try the caprese appetizer which was very fresh. The wine by the glass choices went well with the rest of my dinner. I chose the special which allowed me to try three smaller entrees: the tortellini with meat sauce, the ravioli with Alfredo sauce, and the chicken Parmesan - all great choices and delicious. I also felt compelled to try both the soup and salad, but wasn't able to finish because I needed to save room for their tiramisu, which was pleasantly moist and flavorful. Celebrated my husbands birthday there. 5 out of 5 stars. Loved the romantic Italian music, gorgeous decor, delicious food and caring staff. Went to Bella Italia in Kennewick and I honestly wish we hadn't. We ordered spaghetti with chicken cutlets, and right away I noticed the plates were dirty. The food tasted terrible -- the chicken didn't even taste like chicken, more like old fish. When we told the server the food wasn't good, she brought the owner over, and instead of trying to help, they were both rude and dismissive. No apology, no refund, nothing. We ended up paying around $110 for two plates of pasta that we didnt even eat. Definitely not worth it. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone -- terrible service and even worse food. read more

Bella Italia the food was the best Italian food I've ever consumed. Only open 5pm to 8:30 the ambiance is impeccable as well as the service. Both itilian and domestics wines available. Friendly service as well as knowledgeable. We had antipasto, a choice from 2 soups and green salad, ravioli agousto (spelling) ravioli stuffed with lobster and a white cream sauce...the flavors did not over power each other, wonderful light fare. When 'auditioning' restaurants as places to host a post wedding ceremony dinner for about 20 guests, my Granddaughter ( the Bride!) and I had dinner here. New to the area, neither of us had been here before but a friend recommended it very highly. Out dinner was fantastic, the setting was intimate and lovely and the service was attentive and professional. I asked to speak with the manager and we met Nadine. She and her husband, Chef Leonardo, own and manage the restaurant. She was just lovely. They were the perfect choice for us. So helpful in menu planning, beverage service and, oh my gosh, the cake cutting and service with the help of Nadine went smoothly. I really hate writing bad reviews, but sometimes, it's warranted. For our one night in the area, I did some yelping to find a local place to eat. I came across Bella Italia and the reviews were mixed, I was not sure if it would be good or terrible. I felt like comfort food, and they had eggplant parmigiana on the menu, so I decided to come here, hoping that the bad reviews were inaccurate. First, the location is just odd. We drive away from the main shopping area to find this stand alone building with very few cars in teh parking lot. Should have been my first sign. Second, when we entered, it was fairly empty. Maybe 4 tables in the entire place had guests. Second sign. In reviewing the menu, it was super limited from what their website showed. So many items that I thought they had were not being offered. This was the third sign. Still hopeful, we ordered wine, and bruschetta. The bruschetta was the highlight of the meal. The tomatoes were fresh, and tasty with garlic, etc. It was a HUGE portion. At this point, we were thinking we could have found a gem. The salads came, and they were nice, fresh greens with Italian dressing and tomatoes. Simple, but fresh. We were pretty happy so far. Next, they brought us bread with balsamic vinegar and oil. It was enough bread for a table of 4. The bread was bland. It was not worth the calories. It was the first miss. Lastly, they brought us our main courses. The eggplant parmigiana for me and the Penne Arriabatta for him. This is where it fell apart. The eggplant was just mush. I couldn't really even eat it. The penne that came on the side was right out of a box. My partner said his was fine, and the sauce was pretty good, but again, the pasta was just regular stuff you could buy at Safeway. I wanted this place to be great, I wanted to like it, but I can't recommend coming here. I feel like this place could really benefit from an overhaul, since there is so much potential. Maybe they should invite Gordon Ramsey to come and do a makeover for them? read more

My daughter and I were visiting from Southern California and were the mood for Italian food. Bella Italia was located next to our hotel and it looked like a nice restaurant. We were delighted to find the inside of the restaurant just as pretty as the outside and the delicious smell hit us as soon as we entered the door. The service was excellent! Our server, Shilo, was friendly , attentive and made great food suggestions. I can honestly say that the spaghetti was prepared exactly as I had it in Rome! Delicious! I don't really like to post negative reviews- but I truly just had to say- this was the worst way I have spent $200 in my life. I could have made better food with $10 at Walmart. Everything that everyone got was flavorless and almost to a point of inedible because it was just so bland and mid. It was our first time at Bella Italia. We have lived here for years and never visited...never even heard of anyone else visiting- but the building was so pretty and we had figured someone must be eating here as they are still in business. Lived in Tri Cities for 9 years and this was our first time, definitely won't be our last. Cheese tortellini with Italian meat sauce was delicious. Even the bread and soup was amazing. Service was great. Decided to try dessert and the Nutella cheesecake was fluffy and so good. Interior decor is a nice change up from chain restaurants. Not off a Main Street, but worth the extra few turns to find this spot. read more

Service was friendly. We were a private party though and the food was family style and everyone found it EXTREMELY bland. Multiple people asked if they forgot to add the seasonings. I understand having to go conservative and not heavy on spice or flavor when you have a potentially diverse group to serve. It's not a good sign when people are asking for herbs from the kitchen to try and fix up the food themselves. I would consider giving it one more try for a date or something read more

The server was very sweet, but totally got one of our orders completely wrong not even close. we also ordered a prosciutto appetizer two of them to be exact for our group. It was like they just slapped on some bread toasted the bottom and called it good. And this is a shame because I love Italian food. The food was bland at best! at the end of our meal. Upon arriving, seating is at a distance. I was served bread with a fantastic butter and herb mixture, very creamy and subtle flavors. I ordered salad, the greens were flavorful and tender. The Italian dressing was not overly vinegar. Very subtle flavor. Pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Bella Italian tortellini. Perfectly prepared. Tortellini is tender not over cooked. The spinach cheese sauce is a great compliment to the cheese in the Tortellini. It's more than enough food for one. Lots to take home. Will certainly be back to try more entrees. read more

Highly unimpressed, food lacked flavor & the limited menu did not provide any options for those with food restrictions. Salad was only lettuce & tomatoes with a vinaigrette dressing. Waitress was not willing to deviate from the menu to serve even a side of chicken breast. Staff did a great job refilling bread baskets & drinks. The restaurant was clean & well decorated.
