I cannot give this restaurant enough stars! Consistently amazing. I've eaten at the restaurant, and had amazing service and food. Recently, I order the Marsala Dinner and Fettuccine from Door Dash (my employer gave me a door dash gift card), and it was so delicious. The food arrived hot and so damn good! My son loved the fettuccine, and he is the pickiest eater. The Marsala was so flavorful and cooked absolutely perfect! I'm blown away that I can get a meal this good delivered to my doorstep. I have been eating here for decades, but it has really hit the bottom. Grossly overpriced... my last visit... the so called "special" .... A plate full of dry spaghetti noodles, a few bits of purple onion on a TINY piece of boneless, skinless chicken that was so tough you had to use a serrated knife to cut it. ONLY $32!. This place has been going downhill in the last 6 mos. Or more... I complained about this awful meal. They comped the meal... but this didn't give their "new" waitress a license to act bitchy about it. It was THEIR choice to do so. I would have paid and left... and perhaps returned another day. made reservation for Mother's Day a week or two ago to reserve the spot for us and they had us wait for 5-10 minutes and we did but when the table was ready they had other people sit in it and not us knowing we have reservation and had been waiting. The manager came out and asked us to wait again for another 15-20 minutes which really ruined mother's day! reservation's are made so a table is reserved at set time! this is so disappointing! bad service!! will not be back again!! read more

I cant believe im giving this one away. Tucked behind a mezican restaurant owned by the same people who run atomic ale is one of the most quaint romantic and intimate restaurants in the tri cities. With daily handmade dough and food so delictable you wobt care about the bill the only catch is catching them open. If you get lucky take full advantage btw they know their wine too so ask the server what pairs with your meal. No regrets. read more

We came in on a slow night and got our order in almost immediately when we sat down drinks and food but several people after us got their food before us. We sat there for almost 55 mins waiting to eat and when I got it mine was cold and hers was hot. I love the train look but the service was a bit slow. This is ironic that I'm having to write a poor review considering I left a stellar review almost a year ago to the day about our great experience. This year was not the same. We brought our whole family this time since we had talked it up the last time we came. We had a reservation for 6:30 pm and when we arrived our table wasn't ready but we didn't have to wait too long. We ended up with a table right next to the door, which was not ideal since everyone coming in & out had to walk right by us, a lot of traffic & interruption, also furthest from the kitchen. Our server was kind but not personable nor frequented our table much at all. We received one beverage refill (water/tea) but then the carafe with tea ran out so a refill was left short and she never returned again except to collect payment. The food itself was very good, however it would have been nice to get a refill or offer of refill on the bread. When time came for payment, we had a $100 gift card that an employee of ours had given us the year before for Christmas, which we got since we had raved about how great we enjoyed our visit last year. The server came back and told us there was no balance on the gift card at all, which makes no sense since we never used it and it was gifted to us. She asked that we give her the card and took down my wife's phone number so they could give it to the manager and they would resolve this the next business day. As of the date of writing this, it has now been more than a week and we still haven't heard back from anyone. We paid in full with a credit card and got no credit for the gift card. I suggest that management reach back out and resolve the gift card issue we had, making it worth our while to come back again. Since we won't otherwise. read more

Eaten here many times and have never had a bad meal or experience. Service is always welcoming and friendly. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous and tasty. Can be a little difficult to find the first time as the train car sits back in the parking lot behind another restaurant, but well worth the search. A must if you're in the Tri-City area! read more

The ambiance, decor, and service here was great! I've been here twice, the first time we enjoyed everything we got, the bruschetta, manicotti, chicken Marsala, fettuccini Alfredo, and tiramisu. We also got some red and white wine, I can't remember which ones specifically but they were both good. The house Italian lager was good Negatives 1. Way overpriced in ratio to quality 2. Bread was terrible in my opinion, tasted like a bland sweet roll from a Mexican bakery 3. Marinara sauce was way over simmered, borderline burnt. I do not believe it was fresh that day but if it was it just sucked. This was on the meatball appetizer as well as my parmigiana dish. dinner in a train car? a vintage Pullman dining car? sure!! we're in for dinner a bit early but that's how we roll during spring training because 5:00 am comes early around here. the interior is done up nice; I'm only casually familiar with the period but I feel we could just as well be rolling. even though the train might could use some fresh paint in the spring the kitchen works just fine :-) menu looks totally legit for Italian sit-down: classic dishes in the classic styles, with the classic ingredients... and if you want something special?? there's always the daily specials!! skipped the red at dinner yesterday but other than that we started in the usual manner with fresh-out garlic breadlings and a housemade balsmic in oil :-) light and sweet and oh so good and we were assured of more breads as the pork tacos came out. while not strictly italian by my reckoning they were tasty and I would get them again if someone showed up with a good translation. finished up with mahi mahi on angel hair pasta with zucchini and mushrooms in a light cream sauce with a couple cranks of black pepper and a small pile of fresh parm shreds. feeling good enough about dinner that we're planning to visit their sister shop before heading back south. read more

Coming here from California and Nevada, I was very excited to see what the hype was about. I tried to convince my partner to go with me and glad we went. It was a unique experience eating inside a small train (only 11 tables) and really felt like a train inside and it started while opening the door. The food was great had the white shrimp pasta and had lots of bread and they were all good. I didn't care much for the balsamic vinegar since it was very sweet. Their moscato was also great and had a dessert treat of tiramisu. Overall, it was w great experience and have already been there twice before I wrote this review. read more

My husband Bernie and I have been sitting at this less-than-fine establishment for over an hour, our entrees are harder to find than a Where's Waldo. The train cart space is cozy and fun, but might be there in place to distract from time quickly passing outside while you wait for your food to come. It might have been hours or weeks here, my mind is too foggy to tell. I've probably missed several bingo nights, and the FOMO is raging. Bernie told me to say a prayer so I might do that. p.s Bernie made me include that service was very friendly and accommodating and food was very good *edit* I just received my food and the server told Bernie they can't make his salad. The wait for him will continue, but as for me, I will probably go home as soon as a finish this Salmon. Some of the best food (and wine!) I'd had in a long time--probably the tenderest steak I'd ever had. The service was phenomenal. I wish I could deduct only half a star, however, because the dessert was a shocking disappointment. (Everyone else in my party raved about their desserts.) I alone ordered the raspberry/huckleberry mousse because I'm a sucker for huckleberry. If I had asked for "a bowl of brightly-colored whipped butter cream frosting" I would have no reason to complain, because that's what I got--a neon artificial blue and pink swirl with no detectable berry flavor. It was really surprising to me, because everything else was so thoughtfully and exquisitely prepared. I'll go again, but I'll be mindful of the desserts. Nice little hidden Italian place. I ordered the lasagna with a ceasar side salad. The meal also started with some sweet rolls and a tasty oil vinegar. The waitress was very nice. Let's talk about the food though. The soup was a pork soup and had maybe 2 pieces of meat and almost no veggies. It was basically all cream broth. The caprese was just sliced tomatoes and mozzarella with no flavor. The main course was a smoked salmon noodle dish and the salmon had the strong old fish taste and just wasn't very good.
