Dang. Forgot to take a "before" photo

Absolute sh$t. Prices 200% over a year ago. Service over three hours long for dinner for four. Embarrassing bs food that was crap in the pan. Awful service. Awful waitress. One out of six oysters was rotten during BS "oyster fest." Supposed to get free apps with Key Card fromCourtyard hotel next door but BIG SURPRISE that was not validated. I don't live here so I don't know what has been going on over the past 12 months but obviously there's been nothing good about it. Absolute crap. Worst coffee I have ever had with no apologies and she knew that it was cold and old. Of course I didn't get service for 20 minutes after that so I had to go to the bar to get a new cup. What was the difference after that? The rest of my party left because they couldn't take waiting any longer for me to settle the crappy bill. Absolute crap. Horrible service. She didn't understand our orders. I even asked if she wanted to write the order down and she said no. What makes you think that would be correct...? because it wasn't. No one is impressed by an order that's incorrect because you are trying to impress by not writing it down. Absolute stupidity. Get a pad of paper. No one cares if your order is memorized. No one is impressed if you don't write it down and it's wrong. Unbelievable. Crème brûlée was awful. Just pudding in a tiny dish with a brown burnt top. It wasn't crème brûlée with a crackly crust...and the portion is very small! If you were looking for crème brûlée, do not order it because that is not what it is. Absolute crap. Especially don't go later than 630 otherwise you'll be stuck there until 10 o'clock and then they're already trying to clean up after that and you're screwed out of anything fresh or good. Will never ever come back. And I do a LOT of business here. You SUCK. And believe me I'm going to tell everybody I possibly can. Obviously well past complacency. Clearly showing that you're not working for good service or good food anymore. You shouldn't ride on your laurels. I hope you go downhill fast because you absolutely deserve it. Additionally, tell your waitress not to call me "hon." that is not my name. My friends wanted to know why all the people here have blue hair. I'm guessing because they were there at 4:30 for the earlybird specials. Outstanding location. The service is always great! The food is absolutely delicious. Today the service is amazing!

Upscale and slightly overpriced restaurant with a view of the water, but always love coming here with the family. Darcy was the sweetest server. The seafood and Dungeness crab fettuccine could use a little more flavor, but the calamari and sourdough are always good. Enjoyed the island duet, creme brulee, and prawns tempura.

Stopped in 1/4/25. We really enjoyed the ambiance. At the entrance there is a large fireplace and the cooking area is just beyond the entrance with chef's and open flames popping up from the grill making a lively atmosphere. We sat window side looking out at the lights around the river. The server was friendly and present just enough. Crab stuffed mushrooms were friendly on the palate. For an entré we both had a plate that included the Big Eye Ahi tuna that was served with a pineapple concotion, several shrimp and brussel sprouts. Both the appetizer went well with a glass of chardonnay. In the end we couldn't resist the chocolate fudge cake served with ice cream. No shortage of calories and had to go home and stretch out for a while. The place is a bit spendy for two at about $200 by the time tip was added. Might try for lunch or during promotions if on a budget but it's a fun place to eat in Tri-Cities.

    Tempura Asparagus, really good

The location and service is why I gave a higher rating, if it was food alone I'd go 2 stars. Really mediocre, veggies didn't have even salt or pepper. Steak was cooked perfectly but again, pretty bland. Tempura shrimp were soggy, I wouldn't order the dish again.

Well.. This place has some delicious food. They specialize in seafood but they have other wonderful dishes such as; steaks, pasta, etc.. I am slowly becoming a regular. I tried this place for a b-day dinner and continued visiting ever since. I had their Cioppino and that was fantastic! I had this dish at several other places, including SF which is where it's most popular and it competes with their version/style. The only reason I don't give this place 5 stars is because last couple of times I have gone, they have poor table service. I understand they are always busy but don't take a table with a reservation if you're not going to be able to tend to it properly. Management at least tries their best to help, which says something about the place. Ambiance is a little noisy all around the restaurant but you have nice dim lighting and some nice views of the Marina park.

Delicious and fresh seafood. We sat outside in the beautiful weather and had a great experience. The wine was good. I would come back again.

After ordering, our drinks were brought out, but the food still wasn't at the table at 6:45. We asked for crayons so the children could color, but they were not forthcoming. I got up after 20 minutes to get the crayons myself. I ran into the waitress and reminded her that we needed crayons. She went and got them. We talked about leaving and paying for our drinks. The waitress came and told us there was a "glitch in the system and our ticket didn't print." That was an explanation without meaning. Our food began to arrive in pieces. It took another 15 minutes for everyone at the table (4 adults and 2 children) to get their food. Someone in management came out and comped my daughter's appetizer. Upon paying the bill, there was an automatic 18% tip added to the bill. We are good tippers and would have left at least that much (not because the service was good and not because we loved the food.) It wasn't the money I objected to, it was taking my right to determine what we would leave as a TIP (to insure promptness). It really ate at me. I called the restaurant where a women answered and told me the manager was too busy to speak to me, but she would have him call me back if I told her my problem. She became snippy and rude as I explained my issue. Later, she called back and in the same short and irritated way told me that the manager wouldn't talk to me, but they would return the tip to my credit card. I told her that was not the goal I had in mind. I wanted to let the owner/manager know that I don't like the policy of adding a tip without consent. She told me the policy was printed on the menu (I guess I was looking for food and missed the legal ease.) I suggested that the policy should be on a sign as you enter the restaurant so that people don't feel violated when you assign them an amount to leave the staff. She said, "So, do you want the refund?" I said, "yes", which kind of surprised me, but her attitude sent me over the edge. I provided my credit card information and will NEVER return to this restaurant!

Our friends made the reservation, and before going, my wife and I checked the restaurant's website to get an idea of the cost. The website listed the seven-course meal at $89 per person. Our final charge was $109 per person, plus a mandatory 20% gratuity. That discrepancy was frustrating, especially given the quality of the meal. (someone else commented on this in the reviews - maybe it is time to fix the website). Unfortunately, the food was extremely disappointing. I ordered the steak frites, or "steak frits" as it was written on the menu, and it bore little resemblance to a proper steak frites. The steak was a dry, overcooked cube of meat served on top of fries that looked and tasted similar to frozen store-bought steak fries, along with an unidentified pink sauce. My wife ordered the scallops with lobster ravioli. The scallops were overcooked, and the ravioli appeared to have been previously cooked and then fried or reheated. They were and rubbery rather than fresh and tender. I realize my expectations may be higher because I am accustomed to dining in larger metropolitan areas, but we have had far better meals at several restaurants in Walla Walla. I cannot understand why anyone would make the drive specifically for this restaurant unless they were already staying at the B&B. Even then, I would recommend going into town for dinner. The service was also slow. Our server tried to remain pleasant, but she clearly seemed unhappy or overwhelmed. We were a group of six, and none of us finished our main courses. Despite the amount of uneaten food left on the table, she didn't ask whether everything was satisfactory. The one positive was the pleasant view of the surrounding canyon and landscape. Unfortunately, the scenery was not enough to make up for the poor food, slow service and unexpected pricing. Lastly I do not believe all their positive reviews are organic or they really have gone down hill. Fine dinning this is NOT!

But that is what is great about this restaurant, you can just say no to the meats that you don't want or cannot eat and get a double serving of what you do like. The beef rib (I believe it is a boneless short rib) is divine. The service is spectacular. The two servers who were working our table, Omar and Callie, were very friendly and informative.
