Moved here from Cali a little over a year ago & haven't found a nail place. So far Bella is the only place who didn't balk at my request for colored acrylic. It was a more than I paid in Cali, but it's also post-pandemic.... I believe most places Had to increase their prices to stay afloat. Michael worked on my nails & he did an Excellent job!! Waited for about 30 minutes, they only had 3 people working. The place is old and a bit messy and smells like pee. I told the man doing my nails the color I wanted and then he told me he didn't like it and was on edge and couldn't sit still. I told him I didn't want them short and he proceeded to make them so short and shaped them so weird. Do not recommend. read more

The place was nasty, dim lighting, and equipment is falling apart. My nails are thick, pitted and streaked. Dont think they really know how to do Nex gen nails. Pedicure was decent, they do not allow them to use anything to remove the dead skin on the soles and sides of your feet. Will not be back. read more

This was my first time here for a mani and a pedi. The place was not clean with dirt and debris on the floors. Dirty cleaning brush used on the pedicure bowl but they did have a bottle of clorox clean up beside the filthy brush. The pedicure was painful at times and my feet felt rougher after the pedicure was done. I had a french manicure but they were low on the polish and the tips were left uncovered. Less than 24 hours after the mani and pedi it is already chipping. The person doing the pedicure never spoke and did not appear to enjoy what she was doing. Finally, the cost of the mani/pedi was $10.00 dollars more than they told me on the phone it would be. I was looking for a consistent place in Cookeville to have my nails done and this will NOT be the nail salon I would use again. Dissapointed after reading the other reviews. read more

On my 1st visit I had a basic manicure, it was OK, but the atmosphere was not very friendly, a man (the owner) did my nails, hardly spoke, while another female had a customer & a 2nd female (wife of owner) did her own nails and gossiped about another "customer"? (who likes white nail polish, but drives a filthy car). I returned the following week, had a gel french manicure by a lovely young women. Later that day my manicure was ruined, (maybe soaked up dye from a new pair of pants I wore?). When I googled the problem - turns out gel nails are very porous. I returned to the salon and asked if it could be remedied. The Male owner recognized me and accused me of coloring my hair, or painting on top of my new manicure. When I assured him I did not, explained about the pants and again asked can it be fixed. * I did not ask for a return OR for anything FREE - only what can we do??? He kept repeating that I colored my hair and in X# years he has never seen this. I asked if he was calling me a liar - he raised his voice and kept accusing me. His wife/co-owner chimed in with more nastiness. I said "Well you have just lost a customer" and exited the shop. He came outside and yelled across the parking lot "We don't need you...don't come back". I was polite the whole time - each visit I tipped over 25% - I was not asking for anything but a solution to the problem. This was not a language issue - it was a BAD & UGLY ATTITUDE! Had I known the 1st visit that he & his wife are the owners - I would not have given the shop a 2nd chance. read more

i went to bella nails today and the little boy who did my nails was in a hurry and very sloppy. i paid for a manicure and gel nails and when i left my nails looked worse than when i went in. he did not even file them and make them look even. i am very dissatified with the service and the attention that i received. this is my second time to go there because i wanted to give them a chance, but i won't be back. read more
