I never write reviews, but I can't let someone else not know what can happen here. I got bomb spa pedicure which is not the basic pedicure. While the cleanup was good, the paint job was awful. He walked away several times while looking confused as to what products he was holding. There is polish all over my cuticles, and there is even a bunch of dust under the pain of the big toe nail! I'm sure this is due to his multiple cell phone breaks while doing my nails. I know my pink nail is small but he literally just painted all over my toe. Next I got the builder gel manicure. There was little to no prep on my nails. She didn't even bother to wipe off the dust from her filing before applying a base coat. She also painted all over my cuticles, yet missing edges of other nails. She also left product on my fingers, and the paint is streaky. Not to mention the dust, bubbles, and unknown particles on my nails as well. I'm sure not all of the nail techs operate like this, but the two people who did my nails did a terrible job. Probably the worst pedicure I've received in a while. Cannot believe I paid $70 for a gel pedicure and it is chipped less than a week later.

Janie is amazing! She was so gentle and very friendly. She really cares about her customers and is patient if you are undecided on a color.

I've been going to Janie now for the last few times I've gotten my acrylics done. She always does a fantastic job on my nails and is very friendly. And whenever I ask for a special design she always makes sure it's 100% like the picture and it always looks exactly like the picture. Thank you so much Janie you are amazing !!! read more

I came here with my friend to get our nails done. The person who did my nails was named Anthony, and while he was doing my nails he would occasionally have to ring people up for their services. I didn't mind at all, he was very polite and apologetic. A group of three people had finished a pedicure and checked out. There is a sign when you walk in saying they don't take card tips, and the lady asked him to tip on card. He apologized and offered her other options for the tip, and she told him she would walk to the ATM (it is about 10 steps away from the building) and come back. Within my visit, she never came back. Ironically I saw the group shopping at the mall about 30 minutes after I left, but that isn't the point of my review. It was just very frustrating to see - please don't be that person. The staff here are super polite and always give their best. Anthony was super good at making sure I was happy with my experience and was able to do the design on my nails that I had provided a photo of. My friend's nails also came out perfect as well. This salon is definitely quite popular in the area as when I walked in on a Sunday they were pretty packed. I like my manicure well enough when it was complete but my nails lasted literally 4 days before my top coat (SNS) was peeling off and the nails were chipping. In my opinion that's not normal. Slightly annoyed that she shortened my nails after I told her that I wanted them the length that they were. It took me a long time to grow my nails out to the PERFECT length then she filed them down below my fingertips. BUT with that being said, I still give 5's cuz she did a really awesome job on everything else. My cuticles needed some extra TLC and she got them real good (the wounds are from me not her. I pick my cuticles) she was easy handed and she did an amazing job with the gel polish application, it was PERFECT! And the massage was right on! I didn't catch her name, but then Anthony came over to do my nail art and I've never found anyone to do so good on nail art here in VA! In fact I brought stickers BECAUSE I've never experienced someone who could do nail art well, so I didn't trust it, but his art looks better than the sticker! So I know for next time that I don't need stickers! I been in search for a good nail artist for the last 6 years since I moved here from CA. I been going to Venus Nails, who are decent, but the last 2 years I been looking for someone new simply cuz of the nail art. I'm glad I was finally referred here! I have had several experiences with Elite Nails and Spa that in spite of having an appointment, I waited over 45 minutes. I kept giving Elite another chance because when my appointment time was honored, the service was excellent. On 2/24/2024, when I walked in at 12:50 for my 1:00 appointment, the gentlemen at the front workstation said, "you always come when we are busy.". Again, I had an appointment. it appears there is no effort to manage walk-ins resulting in not being able to honor appointments. I will not be coming back. read more

I've been going here every 2-4 weeks since May when I moved to the area. Everyone here is super nice, and I never experience a very long wait. Everything is very clean, and my pedicures always look good and last a long time. With that said, I've been coming every 2-4 weeks because the dip that I get on my nails never lasts past the first few days without chipping, peeling, or cracking. I am not harsh with my hands other than making sure to wash them frequently. I have gone back a week after getting them done to get them redone due to cracking or chipping. read more

I got the $55 pedicure and it was not worth $55. Barely got any scrubbing or massage. My nail polish chipped 3 days later. The pedicure chairs also don't recline so they can get a little uncomfortable. Only went here because my usual salon didn't have any openings. Would not recommend or return. read more

This nail salon is amazing. I just moved to Fredericksburg, VA and was desperate to find a good nail salon. This place is it. I asked for a classic pedicure and a full set. She got all of my ingrown toenails out while making my toes and nails square shaped. Most salons cant get it right but this salon did. Safe to say ill be a regular customer. Tommy, my nail specialist, was not professional. He continued to push for me to do something different with my nails. At one point he said I should go back to the place who did my nails last?? He wanted to pick a color for me and was pushy about me changing my mind before he even started?? The worst nail place I've ever been to. This place was recommended to me. Decided to try it out. I made an appointment for 2:00pm. Showed up a few mins early & was not seated until almost 2:30... Despite having to wait 30 mins even when I made an appt, the lady Mary did a great job with my pedicure & gel manicure. She is probably the only reason I would go back. They are also quite pricey. Went here to get a full set solar nail pink and white ombré. Their website says $65 but they charged me $80. I was not fully aware of this when I paid it but when I double checked the prices online I realized they overcharged me. I had an appt for this nail salon and a $42 appt turned into a $77 appt. They had nails with designs and I asked for a specific design. By the end the design was different then I asked for and that's when the excuses started, like my nails were shorter so I couldn't do what you wanted. But never said anything before. I wanted 3 different colors and he pulled out 3 colors and tried to give me 2 of the 3. Then I asked about 3rd so had added the 3rd color but not what I asked for. Tommy did my nails. Why do they have top of the line Contega chairs with disposable jets, but noticed they are not sterilizing the tools they use to trim nails and cuticles in between customers. Infection & Fungus outbreaks are inevitable, hope the health department comes in and explains the danger in not complying with safe & clean sanitation. I made an appt for a spa manicure (my natural nails, regular polish) I was asked to wash my hands and sit in #4. When I sat down he asked if I wanted gel, no thank you just regular. So he asked me to move to 8. Ok, no big deal. Next to me a gentleman was getting his nails done and he was resting his hand in a nice bowl that was clearly for manicures. My tech brings over a small glass bowl and tells me to put both hands in. I am thinking maybe the other bowl was for spa manicures. I asked what the difference was between manicure and spa. She looks at me, then speaks to the lady next to her who says "Paraffin" I repeated back, the only difference is paraffin wax? They both sat yes. Ok. She now cuts my cuticles, and shapes my nails with a file. Then she painted my nails. I question her if she is going to put any cuticle oil or anything on. She says no, that's after we paint. Ok. She puts a fan up for me to dry my nails as she goes to get the paraffin. She returns with 2 bags and is standing in front of me. A guy came over and they spoke- they kept looking at the bags. About 5 min pass and she walks around next to me and starts bouncing then wax bags on my arms (to see if I think they're hot? No idea) She then takes one of my hands and places it in the bag (while still holding the 2nd bag) at this point there is another lady talking to her while she is doing it. She is trying to mold the wax around my hand and she is standing next to me. She hands the other bag off to the lady. Someone then tells her to lay my arm on the table (I'm assuming, since they were taking to her as she was messing with my arm, then after they spoke- she came around and laid it down) she then stayed on the other side and put my other hand in the 2nd bag. I felt she wasn't she confident in what she was doing. A man then brought over some mitts for her to put on me, and she said "5 min". 15 min later she came out, pulled my hands out, VERY quickly slapped some lotion on and said "you're done" as she was gathering the towels/wax and walked away. I sat there for a minute- wondering if I heard her correctly. I was looking back to see if she was coming back. The man at the register then said, ma'am you're done. You can check out here. So my spa manicure consisted of a quick soak in water, 5 minutes- at most- file/cuticle cut. At least 30 min messing with the Paraffin. And 3min "massage". I was really hoping for a relaxing manicure, it was complete opposite. read more

Anthony was the sweetest person to me, he was very popular today, but he was easy to talk to and he offered me hand to help me get out if the chair. There are a lot of nail salons in the Fredericksburg area and this is one does it right. Beautiful chandeliers, calming music, friendly staff. My favorite thing about Elite is no wall of unorganized dirty polish bottles to choose your color from. They give you cards of color samples to look through while you relax. read more

Made an appointment twice; first time I arrived and I was informed the individual I had an appointment with, did not work that day. The second time, I waited 20 minutes before checking with reception to inform them an appointment had been made, but I was still waiting. I actually wasn't seen until 15 minutes after that. This is the second visit where an appointment was made and there was little, to no staff available to get customers started who had appointments. I would recommend changing the online schedule to reflect the reality of the shop's availability, if there is a shortage. Nails look good afterward, but be prepared to wait 20-40 minutes with an appointment scheduled. read more
