If I could provide more than 5 stars, I most definitely would. Ok first off, booking her is simple. Just follow the steps on the website and arrive on time. Only down side may be actually trying to find her location. But once you see the purple/lavender furniture out front and the lavender colored awning, then you've found the right spot. There's plenty of parking on site, and her studio is located inside the inconspicuous building. Her space is warm, welcoming, and she also plays great music. She most definitely takes her time to make sure you are happy with the style, shape and, and thickness before she starts ripping out your hairs. So happy I found Anneka! I haven't had my eyebrows waxed in about 8 months and my regular spot is still closed. Anneka was super nice to talk with and gave very clear instructions on how to come into the building and did an awesome job making sure everything is clean. Clients are required to wear masks, use hand sanitizer, and Anneka takes your temperature. I was also nervous about someone new doing my eyebrows as I've had previous bad experiences. Anneka is one of the most talented waxers out in the Bay! I have been seeing her for over 1 year and her technique is unmatched. We met back at EWC before she opened her own studio. Her techniques made the pain bearable & I could immediately tell she was better than other waxers. Fast forward 1 year, she opened up her own intimate waxing studio located in a quiet commercial office building in Sunnyvale. Super convenient location with a private parking lot. The building itself is secured, so if no one is at the front desk, give Anneka a call/text & she'll come let you in. The quality of products she uses is even better than the hard wax at EWC. I've noticed that my hair is significantly thinner & grows back slower. I know this for sure because I had to go back to EWC one time in between due to a weird vacation on my part. #worstdecision After my EWC wax, my hair grew back really fast & thicker than normal. I am sooo picky about my brows & any beauty related services so it was a struggle to find someone that was for me until my first session with Anneka 2 years ago! Her professionalism, her skills, her cleanliness, her patience, everything is top notch and that's why I have been coming to her every month for the past 2 years! I used to live in the Santa Clara area actually when she first started to do my waxing and now I am an hour away but I refuse to go to anyone else. I've always gone to Indian salons where they use homemade wax and more often then not rip some skin off in the process, as well as wax the same sensitive areas over and over til you're ready to scream.
