I cannot say enough positive things about "Simi Doctors!" Let me start with Dr. Ghiyam's medical assistant, Amie...Amie always greets me with a lovely smile and a personal greeting. She's extremely knowledgeable, patient and professional. Amie literally goes above and beyond when it comes to patient care ~ and I don't say that lightly! She's a very sweet and kind young woman who obviously loves her job AND patients very much. She has a calming presence which helps to allay any nervousness you may feel prior to any procedure. Then there's Dr. Ghiyam....he has changed my life! I'm beginning to gain the confidence that I've always strived for, thanks to him. He is very informative and actually HEARS what I have to say ~ whether it be questions or concerns. What a FANTASTIC bedside manner!! 5 stars isn't enough for Simi Doctors. I like it so much I drive 30 min just to go. First of all, I have tried different treatments there so I can speak to the practice as a whole. Dr. Ghiyam is kind, attentive, and amazing at what he does. I have done Botox here several times, and it has always turned out amazing. Jessica was amazing! So knowledgeable, she recommended Seroquel (generic: Quetiapine) for my severe, multi-day insomnia. What a life saver. I was able to split the pill into fourths and just take 25 mgs and it worked in one night, never . I only take it now if needed. It is an "off label" use of that drug and she is just so smart that she had that tool in her toolbox all ready. And it is not an addictive drug like benzos, etc., so it is safe. Can't begin to say how grateful to Jessica and to Dr. Ghiyam I am! Loved this medical center, but now the med techs don't seem to have any medical knowledge, the girl did not know what a sphygmomanometer was! In the market for a new GP as we moved from Valencia. I love that they have such a wide availability of appointments (one thing that really stressed me out was having to make appointments a week or more ahead of time at my old place - here they even offered same day!). I had an appointment with Jessica, who I was told is a PA (Physician's Assistant), but she was so professional and knowledgable that I feel totally secure in her abilities and don't think that I'm lacking in not having a "doctor". She has a great bedside manner and made me feel very comfortable and she was very honest and straight forward with me. I love that! You know what? I dig this place. Fast appointments, Saturday hours, friendly staff, ample free parking, up-to-date technology. Unless you need a specialist for something very specific, I'd recommend coming here. Even better - it's an urgent care, so when something comes up at the last minute, you can still see your regular doctor. I really appreciate that I always get an appointment right away with little notice. I also appreciate them sending refills straight to my pharmacy via cyberspace, so it's already filled by the time I get there. read more

I've been coming to them for decades and I love their care. They're a one stop shop for both my healthcare and laser hair removal, which I love about them. As a woman, I'd get these fine course black hairs on my chin and I was tired of plucking, so I got the laser treatment package of five treatments. Their machine is awesome. I've had friends who went to other places years ago to get laser treatment on their face and whatever machine they used caused them issues, whether it's facial scarring or the hair didn't really improve so I was worried. But you need one of the medical machines that is high grade like Dr Ghiyam, the ones that a medical professional can operate and not just a technicIan. I've had four sessions and even after three sessions I was beyond happy with the results. My hair was thinning and even not growing back. i haven't had issues with scarring or anything, like my friends have had. This is how I know that Dr Ghiyam is awesome and his machine is solid. The price is reasonable and totally worth it for me. I feel happy already and I even have one more session so I know it's going to get even better. I highly recommend them too for healthcare! I go to them for my health visits and when I get sick. They always do a great job helping me out whether I'm sick from a cold or I'm doing blood work or getting a female wellness checkup. I moved about 30 minutes further away but I love them so much I will travel because I know the quality of care is solid. read more

Holy crap don't waste your time calling this office with any questions. I found this Dr. on Yelp when searching Naturopath. I asked the receptionist to ask the Dr to call me regarding his available modalities and if he would treat my specific, rare condition with homeopathic remedies to avoid perscription meds. The first lady was rude, evasive, and was only interested in scheduling an appointment for me, when a short phone call would have been sufficient to know whether or not this Dr was the right fit for my symptoms. I told them my call would only take a minute and even asked if I could email him. Then a 2nd woman gets on the phone and says she's the office manager and starts barking office policy at me. Wow. And then when I asked, again for her to pass my number onto the Dr. she accused me of arguing/fighting with her when I chose to defer my questions to the Dr directly. What a cruddy phone expierience. I hope this review stays up so people can be forwarned. I can assume that the Dr may be no better if he continues to employ these women. read more

I used to live in the area and found this doctor by chance. I was so happy that I did. He is a great doctor, good listener, knowledgeable. He's got great bedside manners and he takes the time to treat his patients. He looks at every patient as an individual and listens carefully. I recommended him to all my family and co-workers. I am a huge fan of Dr. Ghiyam, I give him the 5 stars, he saved my life! However, on a few occasions, in fact the last two visits, I was scheduled for a blood draw, got tired of waiting and left. I always arrive 10 minutes early and sign in. When I am given an appointment time I expect to be seen at that time. I don't mind waiting a few minutes, but when it reaches 15 to 20 minutes past my appointment time I leave. Too many other contracted providers who don't care are putting a blemish on the facility. read more

~Sam in the billing dept~ I had been seeing Dr. Ghiyam for a few appointments in the beginning of 2020. Dr. Ghiyam seemed very knowledgeable and took the time to listen. On the other hand, Sam the billing manager is extremely rude and unprofessional. She contacted us demanding a couple hundred dollar payment because my insurance company wouldn't pay. We contacted our insurance provider and they confirmed the claims are definitely all paid and no open balance on their end. We provided her with a phone number to our insurance company to contact so this can be explained to her and it will be paid. She then proceeded with threatening to send us directly to collections if not paid. We asked to speak to her manager and she wouldn't. I am extremely disgusted with her behavior and how she handled everything. I will not be going back to this doctor now because of her. I also hope Dr. Ghiyam gets a chance to review this. read more

I have been going to Dr. Ghiyam for many years and just recently moved to Dallas and cannot find another doctor as caring, considerate, and knowledgeable as him. He calls back when you reach his answering service and his staff will always work to fit you into his busy schedule when you need a doctor. Even when his waiting room is filled and Dr. Ghiyam spends a good amount of time with each patient, he gets through his patients as quickly as possible. He is absolutely amazing! Went in for a mystery stomach issue. I saw Jessica and she gave me a thorough physical exam and blood work. Jessica is a kind sweet soul who took time to try to help me and call me back with results. I tried to see a naturopath and some other recommended doctors but they either didn't answer the phone or was booked for 2 months, this office saw me in one week to ease my fears. Nice place, nice people. I paid out of pocket and the prices for the tests weren't bad at all. I'm handling my issue with natural methods but at least I got peace of mind from an exam & blood tests.
