In my opinion this Nail Salon is the best in Alamance County, and I would gladly recommend them to anyone. Worst nail job. Paint is blotchy, length is lopsided and my pinky is going in a separate direction. Unless you get your nails done by Lily, it's pretty much a hit or miss. I had to leave and go to another salon immediately after and have these nails removed. I will not be coming back. read more

Honestly, I used to like this place and still do. Some of the nail techs are decently good for the price. Today however I did not have the same experience. I went in with a picture to show what I wanted and what I left with was absolute crap. The nails looks awful and short and rushed. I have never hated nails so much. Im very disappointed in the 43$ I spent. I can't say I will ever go here again. The nail tech didn't even ask what shape I wanted my nails, she just assumed. At least if you're going to assume, go off the picture I'm showing you. Very very disappointing. I literally could have done better on myself. I have done better on myself and I'm only a beginner. Welp, I hate to leave a bad review because Bella Vida used to be my fav nail salon in B town. Well not anymore. So my last two appointments here really turned me off, I was actually very upset with people here. First- it really does NOT matter you make an appointment or not because they take walk-in. and because of that, your time is not considered important if they have someone before you. Last time I was there, I made an appt for two people and even though we got there 10-15 mins prior to our appointment time, we ended up waiting for about 40 minutes. What's the point of calling ahead and making an appointment if you are going to make us wait? My time is valuable just like everybody else's and that's why I made an appointment but oh well. Second, I just got home from my appointment and their price has gone up like CRAZY and people who work there are NOT clear with the price. COVID def affected local businesses and it is very understandable if they had to make some price changes. However, that does not mean that you can rip me off. I believe their pre-COVID gel pedicure price was between 25-30. Well now, it's $45 for gel pedicure. I think thats kinda high for Burlington. Anyhooooo, the thing that makes me more upset is- they are not clear with their price. Sandy who works there(and I see her ALL THE TIME), she decided to charge me $55 instead of $45 for my service today. I asked her at least 2-3 times if this was the right price for the regular gel price. she kept telling me that it's always been $55(and I know for a fact that it wasnt $55 before COVID). Well after I left the shop, I couldnt stop feeling iffy about this and I called the salon. Ricky, the salon owner, picked up the phone and told me that gel pedicure is $45(Again, still expensive). I told her that Sandy charged me $55 for regular Gel pedicure and Ricky said Sandy told her that I got Deluxe lol. well i did not. Ricky asked me to come back so that they could pay me back for the difference. Ricky did pay me back but i had to drive all the way back and now I am going to have trust issue with people there. so yeah, I will never come back for not great service and shady employee here. After a cancellation by my manicurist I was in a bind due to a business trip the next day. I had no choice but to visit a walk-in nail salon. Unfortunately, I received the WORST manicure ever. This used to be my favorite nail salon in Burlington. But last time I went in, I called ahead to schedule an appointment, and even with my appointment they told me to sit and wait in a pedicure chair where I waited with my feet in the water for 45 minutes without even being looked at. I eventually got up and left because I didn't have an hour and a half set aside for my appointment. The first time I went there it was okay, my nails weren't great but it was fine. The second time I went there it was awful. The girl that did my pedicure was awful! She cut the side of my nail (like they normally trim) and then dug so far into my toe it hurt so bad! Then I told them I wanted a wine color, they started painting them white! I assumed it was because of the mask, no problem, I told them again wine. I went over to get my manicure and they started painting them white again! Again, I told them wine. I also stressed I wanted a matte finish...so she puts a gel top coat and then takes alcohol, wipes them down and says "look now they are dull like you want". ‍ No thank you! I won't be going back. The colors for the SNS did not accurately represent the color going on your nails and there are little colors to choose from. I always get a pedicure by Ricky the owner and she does an amazing job. She's so quick and my nails come out looking great. The pedicures are cheap! Regular is 25-30 and includes stone massage and towel wrap. They also have way fancier ones. They do a fantastic job at eyebrows. Tiffany and the other women are incredibly good too just a little slower. You literally can't go wrong. Tiffany is amazing at gel, sns, tip, and acrylic. I was going to another place and it was expensive. I went to Bella Vida with my daughters. For pedicures and SnS. It was the best I have ever got. You get way more for reasonable prices. They are always smiling and the pedicures were so relaxing. You can chose different ones for different prices. They start at $25-$45. I was a hairstylist and I always look at salons cleaning procedures and sterilization process. This place is hands down the best at cleaning and sterilization. Stopped in because I was in area of Bella Vida. I was greeted by sweet smiles and attentiveness. The pedicure was amazing!! True pedicure where even edges of ingrown toenails softy removed. For $25, the legs were smooth in oil, then a salt like scrub, complete with hot stone and lotion. The polish work was exceptional. Yen was my specialist and she focused just on me instead of talking to other employees like other salons. And the chairs are the newest leather tech chairs I have experienced in any salon. This place was clean and quite! They did not get gel polish all over my cuticles, and throughout the appointment they checked I was okay and happy!
