I'm new to the area ,I booked an appointment because of all the amazing reviews but I'm sadly disappointed. My nail tech was late which wasn't a big deal. I was her first appointment of the day, I should have paid more attention to the nail work, but I didn't and didn't until my nails were painted and all the flaws were easily seen , puts a customer an awkward position, i'm just surprised that she let me walk out the door with my nails looking the way they did. So I decided just to deal with it and not go back. my nails are really bubbly and one side and the other side of my nail bed is super think like paper but they are very and even some of my nails don't match they all are different sizes I went back today to get my nail fixed, and ask them to fix the nails that were noticeably uneven and unstable. I was told I had to come back and see the nail tech that did my nails, which I felt was very unfair because that would be three days that I had to cons sit and get my nails done. I then basically begged the nail tech to at least fix the one that was incredibly think one one side and thick on the other . Unfortunately I will not be going back but here are some photos of the work that I got it. UPDATE : I Woke up to three text messages from mike , he was very professional and his main goal was to resolve my issue. He did provide me with different options in order to resolve my issues and make sure I was satisfied with the end goal, I will say I am more then satisfied with the way they handled it and even tho I am uncomfortable with going back I'm going to because mike has made it more comfortable, I changed my star rating because of how professional and print this was taken care of *** 2nd update : MIKE was amazing and my nails look AMAZING.... I'm impressed and definitely see why they have high reviews , everyone has a bad day we are human, and mike made sure to correct it and go above and beyond !!!!! Check in on a white tablet. Staff is super friendly and attentive. There's no pressure to upsell so that's nice. I came in for a standard pedicure and everything was wonderful. Plenty of parking in shared lot. The area is clean and it's relatively quiet. I can hear music but it's not too loud. Not a lot of talking happening inside either so it's pleasant. When I moved to the area, I found Vee and she has been amazing. I also had my nails done by the owners, Lynne and Mike who are both very unfriendly with poor attitudes. They both also made me wait each time at least 30 minutes after my appointment and when I asked Mike about the wait he gave me a sarcastic answer. Nail Tymes did a miracle on my nails!! If I could give them 10 stars I would! I have engagement photos this weekend and I went into a different salon, and showed them a photo of what I wanted. After trying to correct it 2 times, they screwed up my nails. I left crying, I didn't wanna make a scene so I left. I walked into Nail Tymes told them the situation. They worked me in at 2pm in the afternoon. They nail tech TET, was amazing! She had to soak off the SNS, and do a whole new set. When taking off the SNS, non of my natural nails were the same length. TET took her time, she studied the photo I showed her, she gave me options on what to do. It was either trim them all the same which mean made them super short or put on tips. We ended up going with tips. TET had a lot of patience with me, and did a amazing job! I couldn't have asked for a better experience! read more

The owners even stayed pass closing to finish me and my sister sns, they took their time and didn't rush. Today was my first time at Nail Tymes and WOW!!! I was very impressed. Marissa did my pink and white ombre SNS full set with tips and she did an incredible job. Marissa made sure to check each nail to make sure it was absolutely perfect and that each nail was exactly alike. Marissa also spoke fluent English, which made it easy to communicate exactly what I wanted. I will definitely be back to see Marissa. Edit: I changed my review to 4 stars instead of 5 because I have only had these nails for 2 days and the polish on my ring finger (as pictured) has already chipped. Edit #2: Mike contacted me just several hours after my first edit to come up with a time for me to come back into the salon to fix my nail. Well, I have to say that initially I thought I was scheduled to have my appointment with Mike, but to my surprise my appointment was only scheduled by Mike and Vee (a veteran nail tech) was tasked with taking my appointment. I didn't know how I felt about that but to my surprise she was the best person for the job! She took her time, she listened to my desires and completed my SNS manicure wonderfully. I am attending a wedding and wanted my nails to reflect the wedding colors; she came through magnificently. If I am ever able to come back, I will schedule with her or one other person. UPDATE 3/17/20. I was contacted by a young man named Mike, who insisted to make the situation better. I went back in yesterday and he did another set of nails; this time with S&S powder. It was my first time having my nails done this way however, they do feel pretty strong. Mike did a great job, making sure my nails were exactly what I wanted and he took his time. Thank you, for reaching out and making me feel like a valued customer. I went in on March 5th and got a brand new set of nails. Paid 45$ for them then added a 10$ tip, an here I am 1 week later and I have had every single nail fall off. Sorry but if I'm paying 45$ for nails, they better last longer than a month. read more

It was clean and I was happy to relax and get my nails done. I got a simple black full set and they got the shape perfect. I like the almond shape but have to have very short nails for my job. Owner messaged me to explain the break down of the cost: $30 for acrylic, $13 for the ombré, $3 for the almond shape, and $13 for the gel polish. He mentioned the tech told me the cost (he mentioned the $13 for the ombré, and I asked for the total). I appreciate the owner reaching out and explaining the cost to me. It made me feel more at ease and appreciated as a customer. My nails came out beautiful! I love them so much. Only downside was I had to wait for a technician past my appointment time, and the prices are not what was on their Facebook page from April of this year. I asked for gel powder when I asked for an appointment which is $38, plus I got ombré done as well. She did an acrylic overlay. Acrylic is $30. I was told ombré was an extra $13. I looked up the prices when I got home because I felt it was higher than expected. The gentleman who did my nails was told me the total would be $59. In total I spent $65 which included the tip. As much as I appreciate how wonderful my nails look, the dishonesty about the prices was a huge no for me. I am more than happy to pay for nice nails, however, I feel kind of robbed because the prices are not the same. If the prices changed since April, that's totally okay! Just be honest. I felt bummed out when I saw the price difference once I got home because it doesn't equal to the amount I was charged when I was there. I don't like feeling that someone takes my money, especially when I work hard for it. Lastly, no one said "bye" or "thanks for coming in". I went when they first opened and I was taken immediately. Mike was incredibly kind the entire time and didn't rush even when it started to get busy. I just came from California and it's my 2nd try at a nail salon. The first was always rushing me and left smears all over my fingers. This place is nothing like that. Also, the prices are decent. I went here and had a full set of acrylics done and a pedicure. I made an appointment before hand and I had to wait when I got there, which wasn't a big deal to me, but what bothered me was that I was at the salon for almost 3 hours, most of my time spent waiting for them to finish my nail set. The pedicure was great! The guy who did it was fast and did a good job, but I had requested a specific nail tech (Lynn) when I made my appointment a week in advance and I ended up having 2 other people work on my nails before Lynn finally took over and when she did she was rude and rushing. She was filing my nails hard and fast and started to glob on the acrylic. When I asked her if she could do it thinner she seemed to take offense to that. In the end, you could see air bubbles in the acrylic, the nails were crooked, and after less than a week, pieces of the acrylic near my nail bed started to chip and come up. I was extremely disappointed, especially after so many people recommended this place. If you do decide to go here, stick with just a pedicure. read more

I walked in on Monday, 2-15-21 and asked for a manicure. My temperature was taken, twice actually and then I was asked to pick a color and was shown where to sit. Three women came in after me, without appointments, and wanted pedicures. They too were told where to sit and they began their pedicures. I sat in this salon for 45-50 minutes before I was provided any service. While sitting there, watching the services being provided, and thought to myself how nasty this place was. Carpet was filthy, the plexiglass shields had splatter all over them, dust was thick on surfaces, drying machines had polish all over them, it was gross! after 50 minutes of waiting, I just ask for a manicure with no polish. The female that was doing my manicure said that it was best to make an appointment. Why wasn't I told that when I first walked in, there were other associates that were NOT working on a customer! The three that walked in after me did not have an appointment but got taken care of before me and yes, I heard the three when they came in, say that they didn't have an appointment! People, there are salons out there that provide great customer service, this is NOT one of them, don't waste your time! read more

When I got there, there were no other customers there. The receptionist calls this young guy from the back and we get into the pedi. The water was scorching hot I mean steam rising up so I tell him cold water. He begins but I notice he keeps looking down the aisle. He clipped my nails and barely touched my cuticles and began scrubbing my foot with a course purple sponge. He then started scrubbing my legs so I ask where is the pumice stone or the scrubber he says don't worry put your feet back in the water. Well the water dirty now and I'm not putting foot in that. He did not know what he was doing and didn't even pretend to care when I asked him what he was doing. I walked out on the service and the owner/receptionist didnt stop to ask what was wrong or what she could do to rectify the situation. If I make an appointment dont give an inexperienced uninterested technician. My coins spend just like others so why I couldn't get the same service..smh never again I am so tired of going to these shops where they cater to white people and yes that is exactly what they did 2 white girls came in they asked what kind of pedi and got experienced nail techs to provide service...****Dont waste your coins on these people this is my 2nd and last time*** read more
