I have been coming here for YEARS. Everything here is always delicious and fresh. and they are SUPER friendly and helpful. I always get my meat sauce here and literally pour some into a little bowl for myself and eat it because it is THAT good. I used to go to Pastosa a while back which is always good but prices are too high there now, and I feel so much at home at Bella Vita. Scott, Alex and the staff there are amazing. They ARE my go-to. Authentic Italian Deli and everything they serve here is freshly made, delicious daily specials, Vodka sauce Chicken noodle soup, Italian wedding soup, and their fried shrimp sandwich every Friday ( I wish they make this everyday) , I have tried almost all their pasta dishes and every dish was just amazing!!! Went in for 2 sandwiches on a Sunday, just because it was on our way while we ran errands. Omg! You have to try this place! The hubby got turkey, provolone, tomato, and mayo on a roll. These guys have been at this for 20+ years. Ive lived near and far on Staten Island through that time. Sometimes Ive been a regular, sometimes not because of the moves and they always remember me. The lunch specials are always fantastic. The Honey Chicken and Mozz Knots are staples when we get lunch. Plus this place has shelves of great sauces and spices and much more. Had a gift certificate for this place we had never been to before and we were pleasantly surprised! There were two small tables on the left when we walked in so we asked if we could sit and have lunch... the environment reminded me of the neighborhood pork stores we had in abundance at one time in Brooklyn but have sadly closed down... We ordered a Caesar salad with fresh mozzarella and stuffed mushrooms along with a salad that had grilled asparagus and grilled chicken on it - an order of pasta with chicken sausage and broccoli rabe with sodas all for just 25 bucks definitely a good deal and DELICIOUS FOOD! Everything is made fresh and in over a decade, Ive never had something there that I didnt like! I use these guys for all of my catering and everyone always asks where I gotthe food from. Great meats for BBQs and tailgates. I also love the meatball and chicken parms but all of there stuff is great! read more
