I had Bella cleaners in 2022 they did a nice job great crew. Oct 2023 new crew terrible service and way over priced they came out to re-do the subpar job 2 wks later and damaged my grand piano with a large scratch in the black laquer finish as they re did the cleaning in living rm. I called Gary the owner about it when i noticed it (as we dont use the room often) he said he would ask his crew and call back no call back, when i calked they all denied it of course and was told its my loss to absorb costs of repair. WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN and I will NOT RECCOMMEND them to anyone. The cleaning crew is rough on furniture customer beware!!!! I now have indoor/ outdoor cameras on at all times for proof of faulty work done in my house. read more

STAY THE HECK AWAY FROM BELLA CUSTOM CARPERT CLEANING IN NEAR WEST SUBURBS OF CHICAGO! IT IS NOW A BILIGERANT CON! After 13 years, I hired them again for my front room and family room at $269 on 9/23/23 on a Sat. They came over 3 hours late from the appointment time. They were unable to communicate in English. When asked for proof on insurance and bonding they ignored me and intimidatingly with grunts and stares the big guys pulled the big tube and nozzle in the house. They did not know what to do! I had to direct them to the rooms and the stains I needed removed. Well, all they did was drag the vacuum nozzle across the carpet and leave! They blew dirt down into my floor vents and closed them! I was assured stains would be treated and removed. Not! See pictures for the stains which was the reason I hired them. And here is when it gets nasty and really why not to use them. When I called Gary on Monday and told him, I said I had tried vinegar and water afterwards. Gary voice was slurred and laughed saying that's what we use. Let us come out and hit it again! I asked how much, he said only $120. When I said why it wasn't done on Sat, he responded in the same slurred tone, we will be out to do it again! I hung up. Here's the definitive kicker 3 weeks later I get a call asking for the check. I told him I sent the check to Westchester because, incredibly, no address is listed on the receipt and that was what came up on the I'net. He said for me to send him another one in Lagrange. I told him no because I have a cancelled check fee. Again in a slurred, fogged in, tone, he said OK and he will call his Westchester office to see if they got it. Never heard back. It is obvious Bella now has a huge problem with service techs and apparently polluted ownership. STAY AWAY FROM BELLA! IT IS NOT WHAT IT WAS! read more

As Thomas S said in his June review, Gary was nice and engaging until he wasn't. Pricing was reasonable. He picked up my drapes and said nothing about not being able to clean the lining. The drapes came back with the lining still dirty and there was dry cleaning fluid spots on the front of them. When I called it out, he immediately denied that it was caused by them. Ummmm... they weren't there when you picked them up. Really unprofessional and not worth the aggravation he caused me. Still searching for a place that knows how to clean drapery panels and not over charge. It's definitely not Bella. read more

This company had done my furniture 2 years ago and had done a very good job, so I called them back. This time it was not so good. There are watermarks on my couch and the bedroom carpet looks like it wasn't even cleaned. I sent pictures of the couch to the owner twice at 2 different nos. and never heard from him. So, I am thinking he doesn't care anymore but I will not recommend them. read more

I was watching my sister's dog at their house while they were out of town and lets just say the 110 lb German Shephard had digestive issues EVERYWHERE!! Total crime scene!! When I called to say I had a "carpet" emergency, the owner was friendly, reassuring and squeezed me in the very next day. The gentlemen they sent over to do the work were friendly, very knowledgeable and most importantly successful at cleaning the disaster which had occurred.They had great tips for me for future reference. Still recommended! We are frequent flyer, if you will, because we have four cats and one dog in the house. Two years since my previous review and they are still awesome! Last fall I had them clean our drapes and it was such a relief not to have to take them down and put them up myself. Bella came back and rehung the drapes and they looked great. No more cat hair on the bottom! Just had them come and clean the same crappy carpet as before with the same crappy stains. This was the first time that I had them clean our upholstery. Martin and his sidekick did an incredibly great job. Very thorough and took great care. This was a difficult job because we have five Pet's in the house which means there is pet hair and cat gak stains everywhere on the carpet and furniture. I hate to leave a one star rating, but I only report what my experience was. The experience started off on a good note with phone conversation to schedule curtain and drapery cleaning service. Gary was nice and engaging and didn't mind answering my questions. I had an appointment scheduled for Tuesday, June 6th and was told to expect a phone call on Monday, June 5th so that I would be told my 4 hour window for service. Well, Monday came and went. Tuesday came and went. Here we are on Wednesday evening and still no call. I guess my search will continue for a company that I don't have to follow up with to make sure they keep their word and appointments. read more

Completely satisfied! We needed living room sofa, love seat, chair, and pillows cleaned. We reached out Gary from Bella responded very quickly, discussed some options over the phone, and his technicians were out to our house within a couple of days, and at the arranged time of day. The technicians were great laying out everything that needed to be done. Since our furniture is light in color, they recommended trial on one pillow to see how cleaning responded. The one pillow trial worked out fine, so we came back out 2 days later and finished the job. We had used Bella for some grout cleaning and sealing several years ago and they did a fantastic job, so when we needed an area rug and carpet pad cleaned we gave them a call. This time around we had a few issues (some probably due to a misunderstanding on our part), but when made aware of these issues Gary immediately addressed them. Sometimes things happen, I get it. To me it's more about how you deal with those issues when they do come up, and Gary and Bella went above and beyond in making sure that we were satisfied. read more

Bella cleaned my carpet today for the entire house. The carpet was really soiled, had not been cleaned since late 2019 due to Covid. The team that came in was professional and focused. We own a linen sofa which was a little soiled from general use; Having engaged Bella to clean the sofa they performed an incorrect cleaning technique which caused browning to appear - as a subsequence to their error, the sofa is now completely ruined. Attempting resolve Bella's mistake was met with resistance and denial of their error. My only recourse is to take legal action. read more

Care should be taken if the upholstery fabric that Bella is hired to clean is white. Some of mine was irreparably damaged and Bella's liability insurer offered to pay only 1/2 of the estimated cost of replacement. read more
