I had a pretty straightforward job: nail-down carpet in a bedroom that had built up a lot of pet hair over the past year or so from my cat. They mentioned up front that pet hair can be tough to remove, so I kept expectations realistic. The tech showed up right on time, set up quickly, and had everything done within 30-45 minutes. Told me to give it about 24 hours before moving furniture back in (besides the bed), and when it dried and wow. Carpet looked brand new. The guy calls downstairs and says "I'm not sure if I'm going crazy, but is it smokey in here?" As the entire room is covered in smoke. This led to black soot all over my living room, which I had to have professionally cleaned as a result. #3: Since the job was half done and the machine broke (which I was very understanding about) the guy said he would bring the remaining cushions and seats with him and bring them back first thing the next morning. He did not, and we went the entire weekend without a couch (the first weekend I hosted my Boss over-great impression) #4: After reaching out multiple times to figure out if my couch was stolen, I finally get a message 4 days later saying they will be dropping the couch off. Also that the GM would call me to apologize (it's been over 6 days, and I've followed up multiple times to no avail) #5: The guy finally comes to drop off the cushions, and literally left them outside in plastic bags.
