If you're looking for good people that take pride in the food they are serving, this is the place. The curry chicken plate was wonderful. Perfect sized meal, and the portions of salad to rice to protein were perfect for me. I'm not a very salad-y person, but it was a very fresh salad clearly placed on the plate with love. A nice way to round out the chicken and rice. The chicken was very flavorful and cooked pretty well. Maybe a teensy bit drier than I prefer, but I would also rather be served slightly overcooked chicken than undercooked. It was still wonderful, and I would absolutely order it again. The rice though. Oh the RICE THOUGH. It was pure magic and joy in my mouth. I'm not sure what spices were in it, but it was perfectly flavorful and aromatic, perfectly cooked to the most amazing consistency, and topped with a wonderful sauce, which I assumed to be tzatziki. A wonderful roasted Roma tomato that I mashed in with my rice really threw the whole experience over the top. It's so obvious how much care they put into their food, and I will definitely be back. I also had their rose water health drink, which they added turmeric and ginger to, as well as some coconut chunks. It was highly interesting and refreshing, naturally sweet and super flavorful. I drank the whole thing not sure if I liked it or not, but hey, I drank the whole thing! I don't think rose water is for me, but I like having the option of something refreshing to drink that you can't find everywhere else. Thank you! See you again soon! I don't usually rate a place on one visit but I have eaten a lot of Persian/ Armenian food and this is the real deal. The quality is really good and the owner was very friendly, and she seemed genuinely interested in our opinions. The prices are justifiable for the quality and quantity, and when some places charge $10-12 for a burger or sandwich these days I know what I would prefer. I don't write many reviews, but this experience was absolutely worthy of one. I ordered two items through Postmates, but when it was delivered I was missing one. Normally it wouldn't be a big deal, but one entree was supposed to be for my boyfriend, who had to work at night and this was our only plan for dinner. I called the food cart directly to see if they could reach another Postmate without me having to order again, but instead the owner of Bella's Cravings personally drove it over to me! The food is just at a higher standard than the rest, to put it in a few words they try harder to satisfy the customer. This is obvious in the friendly attitude of the staff, the appearance of the cart, and the presentation and taste of the food. This is my second time here and I got my food to go and even after a few minutes in the box it was still as amazing as ever. The chicken curry is my go to dish; you can Litterally taste every spice and seasoning put into the curry. The chicken is delicious and perfectly cooked. They add a dolma in there and it by itself is an instant pleaser. I also love their seafood dishes as the fish is amazingly tender and filling; what can't this place cook?! I stopped by this area of food carts during a road trip. The beautifully decorated foliage, succulents, and tree lights had my attention before I even read the menu. I was craving something nutritious and light after a long drive, and tried the kabob plate. The dish was outstanding. From the flavors to the freshness of ingredients, I savored every bite. I loved that even though the portions were large, I didn't feel too lethargic to keep on my road trip afterwards. Organic, tasty, healthy and unique. Different flavors than you get in the typical Portland healthy bowl-type fare. In a back corner of the pod, but that's a good thing once you find it because there are picnic tables, patio umbrella and an outdoor heater in the intimate space beside their quaint food truck. Let's keep it short and sweet...this is not only the best Mediterranean Food I've had in Portland but it is the top three best food places over all in this City of Roses! My God the meat...the meat is so damn juicy and the flavors dance inside of your mouth. Their spice game is on point. They use spices like a great artist uses a paint palette.
