At first, I was a little frustrated because the bride before me was 20+ minutes late, but they still gave me my full appointment time and made sure I was taken care of. For my actual try on appointment, I felt truly cared for and listened to. I was helped by Natalie, and she was incredible. Something that stood out to me was the language she used to describe the dress fitting. I'm not a tiny girl, and dress sizing for wedding dresses can be a little intimidating, but she used such body-neutral language to describe the dress fitting that I felt confident the entire time. I didn't end up finding THE dress, but Natalie let me see my favorite with a veil and everything. She didn't pressure me to buy anything, and was supportive when I said that I didn't fall in love with any of the dresses. I highly recommend Belle Amour Bridal! read more

Wow! I have watched some horror stories at some bridal boutiques and how pushy they are... but this place is NOT THAT! It's appointment only so there's no crowd of people there. They will be ready for you with signs that have your name, and they will greet you by name as well. Ann already had a good idea of what I wanted just by the dresses I "favorited" on my online bridal profile. She was super patient, accommodating, and was sure to center it around how I personally felt & my budget rather than just making a sale. I came in with my heart set and ended up with something pretty different! They'll know what you like and have expert knowledge on all the dresses and their designers. Definitely recommend for brides who are a little scared to go try on dresses because of the sales consultants. This place was amazing. read more

Came down from Detroit to get a bridesmaid dress and was surprised by the surrounding area, but the actual shop itself was nice. Service was great when it came around, but there were long periods of time where the whole bridal party wasn't checked up on. We had the the back room to ourself and I couldn't believe there was only one changing room. I also wish there were snacks, besides cookies, and water for us to have! Besides that, I love my dress and the woman taking the measurements was really great at explaining what size I should order. And it was fairly priced! read more

I had 2 issues with this place. One the disorganization. When I went in there they started a card for me while I was trying dresses on. I found 2 that I really liked and told them I needed a day or 2 to think of what one I really wanted. Well I had to wait more like 4 since they for some reason are closed on Sundays and Mondays. So I went back in to let them know what dress I wanted to order and they couldn't find my card anywhere. There were papers and things scattered all over their desks -- it was just a mess. I decided to order bridesmaids dresses from them as well and I ended up catching them in a lie. All my bridesmaids got their measurements in by December 6th like I asked but when I called them 2 weeks later to make sure the dresses got ordered, they told me they JUST got the measurements in that day I happened to call. So they put my order in that day (I think). I ended up getting a call the next day saying I needed to call them in order to put my bridesmaids dresses order in...which I literally did the day before. So needless to say I was stressed about the dresses until they arrived. The shop and the selection is small but I did find my dress there and even though I had those issues, everyone I dealt with was really nice. read more

I am 2023 Bride who came down from Macomb Michigan to shop at Belle Amour. Service was great . Tried on multiple dresses and it ultimately came down to two different dresses. At the end of the appointment, our consultant wrote down the two dresses I liked with the prices and the deposit that would be needed and said think about it. I went to lunch, went back to the store that same day to say yes to the dress. When I was going to leave the deposit, they said that the price was entered wrong in the system and there was a $826 difference. They were not willing to give me the price price that was written down for me and let a bride walk away unhappy. Moral of the story, it was not my mistake that they entered the price wrong in the system, it was there's . Belle Amour should of given me the dress for the price they wrote down for me. read more

Allison and I had a wonderful experience at Belle Amour Bridal with our wedding dresses, bridesmaids gowns and accessories. Laura and the rest of the team are awesome. They made us feel like family! Only thing to note: if you or your bridesmaids are in between sizes always go with the larger size because you can always make it smaller. This advice wasn't given consistently. read more

5 stars for great dresses and layout and one of their staff members. 0 stars for the woman who seemed like she might be the manager or senior staff on duty that day. I went in to Belle Amour with a budget and my sales clerk, Emily, was very helpful and kind, and even sent a thank you card later. Her superior, a dark-haired woman with short hair, was very gruff, rude, and was very obviously talking about me in nasty ways to Emily and other store employees. I found it very appalling--and I did not purchase from here, even though I liked some of the dresses. I felt uncomfortable and left as soon as the dark-haired woman was pointing and referring to us. But again, Emily was a nice sales clerk, so go there and ask for her and avoid the other woman like the plague! read more

Extremely disappointed in Belle Amour!!! We ordered our bridesmaid dresses and when we received them one bridesmaid's dress was a size 4 when it needed to be a zero, the other dress the zipper was broke and way too big, one was a different material, and they were all the wrong color red then what was ordered. For the prices they charge this shouldn't have happened, we would have just saved money and ordered from Davids Bridal if this was the type of service we were going to get! read more

This place was just what we were looking for! Laura was great! Very patient and helpful while looking for a dress for my daughter. We loved the large open space with plenty of seating for the bridesmaids and me, the large mirror and the platform for my daughter to model the dresses. The reception lighting room was a nice touch to see the dress in low lighting similar to the reception. Laura had 7 of us ladies to deal with a never made us feel rushed and never seemed frustrated or annoyed with us. She wiling stayed after hours so the bridesmaids could try on dresses after my daughter said yes to a wedding dress. read more

Belle Amour is the most comfortable, stylish, and affordable gown shop in Toledo. I found the most beautiful dress on my first visit. They were respectful to me and my mom, were open with their opinions, and the staff is helpful and kind. They made that day the best part of wedding planning so far. I really appreciate that you can pay in installments, and the installments aren't a set amount each month. You pay what you can! I cant wait to see my dress when it comes in! I was so excited to visit Belle Amour to shop for my wedding gown. I had emailed them to set up and an appointment and made to ask if they had a good selection of plus size dresses to try on. When they called to confirm my appointment, they told me that they did have a nice selection of plus size bridal gowns. We get to our appointment which is at 10 am about 10 minutes early, and the woman who greeted us was super rude. This is an exciting time for a bride and those she is shopping with and a rude "well you're going to have to wait 20 minutes" isn't what we were expecting. Waiting was no big deal, it was the attitude that was an issue. As we browsed it was clear that there were actually only a few plus size dresses. Either way we brushed it off and we were still excited and pulled the few gowns I would get to try on. Next I was asked my budget, and when I said $3,000 it was mistaken for $300 and the look of disgust I was given made me not want to even buy anything there. The woman who helped me try on the two dresses that I did get to try was very nice, and then she said they couldn't help me and recommended a plus size shop which was nice of her. After the rude service we encountered there I left feeling horrible, but luckily two other shops in Toledo (NOT plus size shops) were able to turn my day around! read more
