I had a great experience buying my bridal gown here! Andrew helped me, and he was AMAZING! I showed him some images of gowns that I liked, and explained to him what kind of wedding I am having. He completely understood exactly what I was looking for. I honestly loved every single dress he suggested for me. He also helped me pick out accessories that I love! I had previously gone to another David's Bridal location in NE Ohio and I was less than impressed. The consultant brought me dresses that were nothing like what I asked for, and I felt very uncomfortable. It was not a pleasant experience at all. I left that store feeling like I would never find my dress. Because of that experience, I had been on the fence about trying another David's store, but I'm so glad that I did! Melissa was absolutely amazing! She was very attentive and helped me find my dress. She kept both if us in good spirits and put up with our shenanigans. Absolutely fantastic! EDIT: recieved my dress and it was in the wrong size and color. Best they could offer was to size it up. I am now stuck with a dress I did not say yes to with a veil and shoes that do not match. They refuse to fix their mistake because it was out of the 30 day period. Make sure if you order from them to check over everything and make sure you recieve EXACTLY what you asked for before leaving the store. Apparently they can not be trusted to order correctly. This review might be almost 20 years later, but it still sticks with me to this day and I wish I had written a review sooner. Brides, if you can choose somewhere that cares about one of the biggest days of your life, DON'T choose David's Bridal in Toledo, Ohio on Monroe Street. They were THE biggest ASSHOLES to me. I had a bridal party of 9 who ALL got their dresses there. They spent good money there. The November prior to my wedding day, which was less than a year, I found the PERFECT dress. It fit like a glove! It didn't need ANY alterations - the bust, the length, everything was PERFECT! I fell in love with it and bought it immediately. I didn't wait to arrange all the little details that go into wedding planning to match my dress. Little did I know I would go through a tremendous medical ordeal over the next several months. I gained 100 lbs in 6 months and was SO busy working 2 jobs, trying to coordinate a wedding in less than a year and by the time I tried my dress on, it didn't fit. The next two months were a complete nightmare. I was told I had gained too much weight (that I had no control of and had no idea the reason for) to be able to alter my perfect dress and with such little time before the wedding, they found a dress for me that I was OK with that they still had to alter because it was still a size too small, so they had to add fabric to it. Well, it was not white. It was ivory and champagne and it was a halter dress, which was completely different than my strapless embroidered detailed bust of my original dress. I had to change my flower girl's dress, I had to dye my own shoes (Thank GOD for coffee at the last minute for staining my shoes the perfect color...too bad that my dog ended chewing them up a few years later) and I had to change the color of all the groomsmen's undershirts AND my flowers and cake icing. THEN a David's employee blamed ME for gaining so much weight and for not thinking to try on my dress sooner and refused to take my dress back and put what I paid for towards a new one. Their policies may have changed since then, but they were SO unbelievably rude and the next two months before the biggest day of my life were complete SHIT. They kept information from me and made me feel like it was MY fault everything happened the way it did when in fact the dress I purchased was discounted (everyone knows returns are iffy with stuff like that, and I would have been more understanding, but that was never explained to ME so I was made to look like a villain trying to get one over on them - WHICH I WASN'T. I was willing to pay the difference, which they gave me a hard time about and made me feel like an absolute COW just weeks before the biggest day of my life). I still looked beautiful according to my husband and everyone at the wedding (I mean who is going to tell a bride they look horrible? NO ONE.) I had to drink so much just to get through it and still cried at the end of the night. Here we are, just past our 19th wedding anniversary and are reminiscing about what should have been our "perfect day" and we both SWEAR we will NEVER recommend them to ANYone. A few of my girls even had a hard time with them, having to alter their dresses bc they were bustier. I had been dreaming of this day since I was a little girl. I never got to be a princess. I never went to homecoming or Prom...This was my ONE day...and they ruined it. Thanks a lot, David's Bridal. Here I am 20 years later and I am still pissed. I am surprised you are still in business with all the truth I spread about your workers back then. Hopefully they aren't still the same ones I dealt with back when I was planning my wedding because they didn't care; it was obvious they were just there for a paycheck and their commission. I went here to look at bridesmaid dresses for a friend's wedding, then a wedding dress for mine, and yet again for a dress for my sister's wedding. All these weddings have been about a year a part within the span of 3 years. Out of the 3 times I've been there, the 3 different people that have helped me we're not very nice and acted like we were inconveniencing them for even looking. Not exactly what you want when you're shopping for a wedding at a store that's MEANT to help you find dresses for weddings. Was in a friend's wedding not too long ago and she had picked dresses from David's. One of the bridesmaids never paid for her dress, and by the time the bride found out, they had discontinued the dress. Therefore, since they don't order the dresses until everyone pays, we were all without and had to change to a different style. Nobody suggested they would have to re-measure us for the new style, so none of us were sized for it, assuming they could get the right sizes from the original measurements. Needless to say, the new dresses didn't fit any of us well, and we all had to spend ADDITIONAL money to have these new dresses altered a lot once we received them. It was kind of treated as an "oh well, stuff happens" situation by the staff. I've warned all my friends who get married to think about looking elsewhere, or HOUND the staff to make sure your order doesn't get messed up. read more

I am just not happy with my experience here. First off, the employees are not friendly and make you feel like an inconvenience. I am a bridesmaid for my sisters wedding. We were told that for the bridesmaid dresses order them 3 weeks early or more for the wedding so they would be in. I went in to purchase mine a few days shy of 1 month early. They charged me an extra $20 for a rush fee!! They said if the wedding is less than 1 month away it is policy to charge the $20 rush fee. Then my dress came in a week later, nearly 3 weeks before I needed it. This is ridiculous!! I would say that David's Bridal is great for bridesmaids dresses or wedding accessories. The tiaras and jewelry were cheaper than some bridal boutiques. The veils here are cheaper than bridal boutiques if you aren't too concerned with details (i.e. just a plain veil as opposed to one with lace or beading). You could probably find cheaper wedding shoes, veils, etc online but I like the convenience of trying them on and being able to see the actual condition of what you are purchasing. As far as wedding dresses, they offer they own line from which you can find some decently priced dresses but may not be the best quality (but then again, you're only wearing it once, right?) They also have a Vera Wang line. Try to go there during the weekday. It gets pretty crowded on the weekends. They do have a lot of dressing rooms but maneuvering around can get tricky. read more

My experience buying my dress was good and the alterations seemed good until the actual wedding day. They didn't hem it high enough so i was tripping on my dress all day and then suddenly i was stabbed with a pin. My bridesmaids had to dig through my dress to find the four pins Davids forgot to take out. They were very pushy with my girls to buy their dress saying it wouldn't come in time if they didn't order like 6 months early and all of my girls received their dresses in 2-4 weeks. My friend is getting married and she decided to get our bridesmaids dresses here and they said the same time about if we didn't order this early we wouldn't get our dresses, We didn't think they were serious because the timeline from my wedding with what davids said and what actually happened was so off so we waited a couple weeks (we were still about 5 months away from the wedding) and they called all the bridesmaids and told some of them if they didn't order that day they would not get their dress before the wedding and the wouldn't let me order the dress i wanted. And one of the girls got their dress in less than a week when they told her it would take like 4 months. Personally David's just isn't very professional and i wish i wouldn't have gone through them for my wedding but there's nothing that can be done now. When I went to get my bridesmaid dress I informed them of the date. An hour and 15min later I picked my dress (we were allowed any style). Got up to the counter and the girl had put in the wrong color and therefore the dress I decided on wouldn't be in for the wedding. So had to try on more dresses. Then was told to order 2 sizes bigger for my pregnancy. That was a huge mistake!!!!! I was swimming. So then spent more money on the alterations than the dress. Picked up my dress today and it was hemmed shorter and done correctly, but the top half looks like nothing was done!!! Literally can be taken in another 2 inches. What a freaking waste. Basically was told "we tailored for you to grow". Ok well I didn't. Followed your recommendations which sucked. And then "well the wedding is next week so can't do anything now". They lack communication and very dismissive. I called over the phone and told a worker my situation which was that I ordered a bridesmaid dress ONLINE (yes I stressed that) and I ordered it before I knew I was pregnant and that now I have gotten bigger (due to pregnancy) and wanted to know if it would be able to exchange it for a bigger dress. I was told "Sure. No problem we can do that for you. You just need to come in today so we can order you another one ONLINE because if we do it today we can get it 10 days before the wedding" so I drove all the way over to David's Bridal in crappy traffic to get there because I was told I have to make it in today- the moment I walk in with my dress in the bag a worker says to me BEFORE I CAN EVEN GET A WORD OUT- "we don't do online returns" no big deal. I explain to her that I talked to one of the employees and mentioned that I would be exchanging the dress that I got off the website then she says "we don't do online returns OR Exchanges" I stood there looking dumbfounded and annoyed. "Ok. But I talked to someone over the phone who told me they could work that out for-" "no- we don't do returns or exchanges" and they can't alter the dress for me because they are booked until June. I'm not sure why they can't exchange something from their own company and I'm now sure how they have the clientele that they have. My problem is not that I was told no my problem is that I was told one thing over the phone, wasted my time and gas to get there just to be completely dismissed by one of the workers and she didn't even bother to attempt to listen me- she wouldn't even let me tell her which employee told me. Stopped in with my best friend who is a bride to look for bridesmaids dresses and was not greeted by anyone. After about ten minutes someone finally asked us what we were there for and then proceeded to find the dress I was there for to try on. The associate was very pushy and rude. She also did not listen to a word I was saying when I mentioned how the dress was too big and how I felt uncomfortable but continued to write it down as my size. We also had to track her down every time I switched out of sizes because she kept disappearing without mentioning to us that she would be right back. After ordering the dress I was told (and received a paper with the date) the date my dress would arrive in the store. However I received an email that the dress arrived a month early and I only had seven days to pick up the dress. I live an hour away from this store and have a very tight schedule and had told the associate that when ordering so I was adamant about the exact date so I could schedule a trip there. I made a phone call to the store in which an associate had answered and proceeded to talk to me in a very rude manner telling me I still only had seven days to come pick up my dress and would not extend it two days to where I actually had plans to be in that area. Overall it was very inconvenient that the dress arrived early when they told me it would not and would not extend my retrieval date when it was there mistake. The associates are very rude and do not care about the service they are providing to the customers who ultimately pay their paychecks. The quality of the product is very cheaply made for an expensive price as well. I would not recommend getting your dresses from this store. The only reason I am giving this store any stars is because Yelp is making me in order to continue with the post. read more

Take it from a bride- do not go here. They judge you "pretty woman style" as soon as you go in- I got snubbed initially because my friend was coming from work dressed nicer than myself, so of course SHE is the bride. Good start. After I found someone to help me find dresses- or point to the ones that fit me- I found 3 that I really liked. I knew the first one I tried was the one and asked the girl how long they could hold it. It was about 3 pm and she informed me that they could only hold it til the end of the day. I exclaimed "Seriously?", then just left- sad. Despite that, I went back to look again as I don't have a lot of options. A more helpful, friendly, wonderful person helped me and let me hold my dress (the first one) for up to a week so my dad could see it. So the first girl who obviously mislead me about hold times put her name attached to mine so she could still get commission when I actually bought something if I were to return. I made sure THAT didn't happen. The nice, friendly girl got me set up with alterations and a final fitting date and I was off. (Nice & Friendly always get the commission) Alterations fitting went smooth and the final fitting date came. I had to call and reschedule the FF because it conflicted with other wedding prep that wasn't as set as the dress. When I got there on my newly rescheduled date for my FF, they had apparently lost my appt. and had me waiting for 20 minutes in a confined fitting room. Some lady came bursting in with food in her mouth mumbling about how it's illegal to work on your lunch and she would be back in 20 minutes. Not even 5 minutes after she left, she returned pissed off and said "Let's do this". I am guessing a supervisor forced her to do her job and take lunch later- which makes it my fault. It also explains the resentment she harbored in NOT telling me that my dress wouldn't fasten at the top. Didn't find that out until I was right about to walk down the aisle. Bridesmaids scrambled to fasten my dress with a safety pin. I called them and was informed that I would have to come in for them to do anything. I was leaving the country the following day and there was no way that could happen. After I got back in the country I was immediately going to another state. So apparently if you can't drag your dress back in there as proof of their royal screw ups- your loss. It's their way of saying - Enjoy your new life. I'll say it again- DO NOT GO HERE. read more

My best friend is getting married in August, and last summer she came to visit me in NYC (from Ohio) to pick out the bridesmaids dresses. We headed to David's Bridal since that would be the easiest place for all of us to order our dresses and shoes from. I tried on 2 sizes, and months later I thought I remembered that the size down fit best, but wanted to be sure before I ordered, so when I went home to visit my mom in T-town we made our way into the very impersonal, warehouse experience that is David's Bridal. The woman at the front desk was nice enough, gathered my information, and then politely called for the associate who would assist me. Turns out she was the one who was hanging all over the Mannequin in the middle of the store, chatting with another associate. She heard her name and instead of coming over, yelled across the floor, "Yeah?" Ok--not how I would have handled it, but I guess she was in earshot, so whatevs. The front desk lady explained that I needed assistance, but clearly my time was not as valuable has her conversation and hanging on/twirling the mannequin, because she took her dear time to finish while my mother and I awkwardly stood waiting. Then when the front desk lady finally took my info over to her, she just stood there, while we stayed put in the front, not quite knowing what to do, until my mom started over to her. We then got a casual, "oh, I would have come and gotten you." Methinks that was not so likely. Then it gets worse. I explained the situation to her, that there were 2 sizes I tried on, I think it was the smaller one but I wanted to be sure since it had been a while since I first tried it on. She then faces me and stands for a considerable amount time, lips pursed, staring me up and down, like she can gauge my size, and finally says--"It was probably the bigger size because of your hips, unfortunately." She then turned away to grab the dress while my mom and I just stared at each other in awe at her crassness. I have hips, but I am thin and would in no way consider my hips to be so out of the ordinary for my size that it would be an issue, especially in an a-line dress. Suffice to say, I insisted on trying on the smaller size and (to my extreme pleasure) it looked like it was tailored specifically for me, just as it had the first time I tried it on. After her failed attempt to suggest my mom try on a "Mother of the Bride" dress--for what purpose? I'm not a bride!--we placed my order and got out of there as quickly as we could,my smugness fading into regret over not just ordering the dress online as I certainly don't think the girl who assisted me earned that commission! I have had far better experiences at the boutique bridal stores in Toledo, and would suggest going that route instead. I went to David's Bridal for the first time in December as a walk in appointment. I told the sales person that I am having a destination wedding in Florida on the beach during the summer, so it would be very hot. She brought out dress after dress and layer after layer of fabric! I was sweating in the dresses inside the store. I kept asking for lighter material, etc. and someting that would work better on a beach. She brought me more of the same and a multi layer slip. She also kept disappearing for 10-20 minutes at a time leaving me stand there waiting. My mom had to help me in and out of a few dresses because the person just wasn't around. It was a bad experience, but I decided to try it again. This time I made an appointment and arrived a few minutes early. Upon walking into the door, the front desk asked, "Do you plan on making a purchase today?" I said that I would like to find my dress as soon as possible since it is only 6 months away. About 15 minutes later, the salesperson approached. She had been there 3-4 weeks and had no idea what was even going on. She didn't know where the types dresses were or anything. She clearly didn't like her job because she said she was going to leave as soon as she graduates college or before. All of the Spring dresses that were online that I wanted to try on were not in the store yet. Another salesperson was nearby and noticed that we were having trouble finding what we were looking for...She was polite, experienced and helped us a little. She directed us to the section we needed for destination weddings - Galina (we had not been told that before). I wish we would have had her as our person! She was great. A little while later we were back with our original saleswoman and went to the fitting room. The new salesperson was pushy with alterations. I was in retail and have a professional sales degree, I know what she was doing! We didn't stay much longer and she requested I come back to see her only. Two days later, I went to Bridal n Tux in Dayton. I was a walk in and showed the saleswoman what I had liked at David's Bridal. She said, "I have a dress I think you'll like!" She brought it out, I tried it on and I bought it! It fit perfect, didn't need alterations, was within my budget and perfect for the beach. I walked into Bridal n Tux as a walk in, tried on and purchased my dress in under one hour. Now that is service! I would not recommend David's Bridal Toledo to anyone for a bridal gown. The two saleswomen assigned to me do not know how to listen to customer's needs and were not experienced. Disappointing! read more

#1 very limited appointment times, regardless of how far out you book, which is odd, because there was only 1 other person in the store when I was there. And they were not trying on bridal gowns. #2 while my consultant was friendly, she didn't do much to sell the gowns to me. For example, many of the gowns I tried on were simply too big.... all I wanted was for the consultant to see that too and clip the dress so I could get a better idea. Instead, I just left sad because I never got to see what any of the dresses could truly look like. Who wants to see a dress that's swimming on them and think, "this is the one!" #3 after trying on a half dozen dresses or so, still trying to get a feel for what I really liked, the manager introduced herself. It was strange, it was like she thought the appointment wasn't going well so she should step in. Then she reminded me that my wedding is fairly soon and it gave me the impression that she wanted me to buy a dress today. I was still getting a feel for what I liked, instead it was like I had reached a limit of amount of dresses to try on. Overall, not the greatest experience. The dress I had wanted to try on was not in the store. And I never got to see what any of the gowns truly looked like because I can't clip myself into the dress. read more

Over the last 10 years, I have bought 1 wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses for my wedding, and 4 bridesmaid dresses for myself from the David's in Toledo. I have also accompanied 3 bride to their initial appointments. For the most part, service is hit or miss and depends on who is assigned to you. Typically brides get better service than bridesmaids, however sales people to both are known to disappear for random lengths of time. When I was shopping for my own bridal gown, it was so bad that my sister was the one getting me in and out of dresses because my sales lady was nowhere to be found the majority of the time. My most recent experience with David's, in January 2016 had both positives and negatives. The positive is that it was the best David's experience I have ever had in finding a bridesmaid dress. The salesperson, Emily, was incredibly attentive and helpful. The bride stated I could have any dress in her color, and Emily listened to what I wanted and did all the picking out of dresses for me. She helped me try them on and also took pictures of me to send to others. The experience was actually fun, we were laughing and she helped me find the perfect dress. I was so surprised she had only been there 2 weeks, because she was easily the best salesperson I had ever worked with at David's. That being said, during that same visit I witnessed the manager being incredibly rude and disrespectful to a customer, so bad so that other sales people were commenting and apologizing for their manager. In Toledo, brides shopping for bridesmaids dresses are somewhat limited if their maids come in all shapes and sizes. David's is the only place in the area that offers multiple colors, styles, and sizes for the maids to try on. It is much easier to order a dress that you can see on a person, than just order from a catalog. Most of my David's experiences have been just okay. I've had two fantastic experiences and two terrible experiences. It's a decent place to get a bridal gown and a great place for bridesmaids dresses. read more

I have been to many David's bridal stores and this one is my least favorite! The first time I went they were very rude and insisted I needed an appointment so I scheduled one with them. I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment and it took over an hour to try on 5 different style dresses. No one was able to help me pick out the correct size because they measured me at a size too big. I had to go to the manager after waiting over 20 minutes for my associate to come back to help. The associate was suppose to be helping myself as a bridesmaid, a bride and another girl looking for a dress. I spent maybe 10 minutes with this associate. Extremely disappointed in the service. After looking at four other bridal stores, she finally found a dress she loves. I want to thank the David's Bridal store in Toledo, Ohio, for all of their help and expertise. Where do I begin? Please do not go to David's Bridal in Toledo! First of all, my niece had a bridal dress appointment. This shop double books their consultants so they are helping two brides at one time. We barely got any attention at all! We were informed that we could NOT go over our appointment time so when she was not able to find a dress in the allotted time, we made another appointment for later in the day. Finally, the consultant was able to devote her time to us so she found her dress. Then, we go up to pay and bang - they add on one cost after another! Nothing that we were told up front. We live an hour away so they called when her slip came in and we had to pick it up in 3 days, then the same for her dress. No one ever told us this ahead of time. When my mother asked about this, they simple said "it was on the receipt." Could they not mention that when checking out? Fast forward a month and we go back for bridesmaids dresses. My sister called before she made the appointment to specifically ask if the bridesmaids get $20 off their dress since the bride got her dress there. They told her yes! We got smart this time, and booked a back to back appointment so we would have enough time. Sure enough, the consultant was double booked again so thankfully this gave us sufficient time. Two separate people, one of them being the manager came up to us and asked us about our double appointment. We explained why we did what we did and they said "well, you won't have the same consultant for both appointments." Oh well! We just needed to have enough time! My niece finally decided on the bridesmaid dresses and since we had some time left, the bridesmaids tried on homecoming/prom dresses. Both bridesmaids picked out an additional dress they were going to buy because there was a sign on the wall with the prom dresses saying clearance prom dresses $49.99. So, when we went to pay, of course the prom dress did not ring up at $49.99. When we asked the manager, Vanessa, she said "not all prom dresses are that price, read the fine print." Well, guess what - there was no fine print on the sign! They had nothing that indicated any of the dresses were any price other than the $49.99. Vanessa just said "there is nothing I can do about it." She did say she was a manager, right? So after one upset bridesmaid, we finally just said to ring up the bridesmaid dress. Well, yep - another issue! When my sister asked about the $20 off the manager, said "we don't do that anymore - we haven't done that in like a year." Seriously? She had JUST called and asked before she made the appointment? Vanessa wanted to know who she talked to. Really? Like she wrote down her name....ugh! So, we walked out and I am pretty sure Vanessa could have cared less. They missed out on a sale of 3 bridesmaid dresses, 2 prom dresses and wedding dress alterations. Shame on you Vanessa! We drove right over to the mall, found the perfect dresses for a lot less money so honestly it was a blessing in disguise. We will tell everyone we know, do NOT go to David's Bridal in Toledo. And, David's Bridal corporate, you might want to take a closer look at Vanessa. She is driving business away. read more

I'll start by saying I was going to give a one star review. I had set an appointment at a bridal show several months out so I expected to have someone ready for me. After a wait, I was greeted cheerily. It was downhill from there. You see, I got my dress at another shop (wonderful experience) but wanted a reception dress. Once I said this and noted my price range the girl helping me suddenly acted like I was wasting her time. I told her my street size and the gown size I was sized for at the other shop and she ended up giving me a dress 6 sizes too small because it was the biggest they had. It never got on, i knew it wouldn't. That was the beginning. Every time I got on a dress she disappeared for 5-15 min (depending on the time), leaving me to stand awkwardly in a dress I could not zip or clip. One time I even sent someone on the hunt for her. Nothing. I ended up getting helped by other girls on several occasions. When she was around she was not helpful at all. It was embarrassing for me to stand around like that. Everyone seemed hectic and annoyed. I felt second rate because I was not buying my dress there. This only got a two for few helpful people there and because I found a really cute dress (an option offered up by a random associate we caught). I would not suggest going there if you would like someone to help you through the process. read more

I was not pleased with my experience at the David's Bridal in Toledo. As a bride, you want this experience to be wonderful and one you do not forget. I came to the Toledo store to look for bridesmaid dresses for my bridesmaids, once I arrived at the store the lady at the front desk was very nice and greeted me and my family. She took my information and then called to the consultant that was going to be helping us. The consultant was very nice and began asking questions about my wedding, what I was looking for, etc. She then interrupted me and told me she was sorry and had to go be with another bride and for me to go ahead and look around.The store was very crowded with other brides and bridesmaids. It was very hard to pick out what I was looking for without running into other people. Thirty minutes into my appointment, I had picked a few dresses for my girls to try on, the consultant was no where to be found. She never came to see how we were doing or if we needed any more assistance. Finally, my mother took the initiative to find an open dressing room to try the dresses on. The consultant came over quick asked how we were doing and then left. I finally picked out a dress that I liked for my bridesmaids. I went and found the consultant and she wrote down the dress information. Not once did she tell me when my girls had to come in and get measured or how soon they had to order them. A week later, I received a phone call from the Toledo David's Bridal. The woman on the phone was very rude, she began to tell me that the dress that I chose was being discontinued and that I either had to have my girls order their dress by the weekend or I had to chose another dress. I do not know why no one told me this when I chose the dress. It is safe to say that I ended up going with another local bridal shop to order my bridesmaid dresses. read more

Ladies do not waste your time going to this awful place. I am the bride so me and my girlfriends set up an appointment for 6:30 pm here it is 7:15 and not one person that works there has said one word to any of us however, they did manage to come and get the lady that had arrived after us she had a 7:00 appointment. not only did i not feel special the way that brides should feel i felt totally invisible. I have never in my life felt the way that Davids Bridal has made me feel. I wouldn't wear one of their dresses if they gave it to me for free. If you want a good experience please do not go to Davids Bridal you will only be disappointed. read more

I can't say enough about the great service they provided. I called on a Thursday at closing time needing a pair of dyed shoes by Saturday. I spoke to Broc and she was so kind and helpful. From finding the shoes she had in stock and ready in the right size, to reviewing the right color to staying and dying them after hours so I could pick them up the very next evening, I couldn't have asked for more. I am a bridesmaid and I went in for measurements and then to order the dress and the man was unbelievably rude. I just came from running errands and I know I don't look very presentable but he kept looking me up and down and said he wouldn't help me because "this isn't a boutique." Then I asked where someone would because I'm not from here and he said I won't refer you either. This is very sad because my experience at davids bridal, in Missouri, was nothing but wonderful! So here's my experience at the store today. Went to pick up my bridesmaid dress today, the dress that I thought was going to be the correct size since the staff measured me both times I went there to try on dresses. There was at least 3-4 inches that would not zip up in the back on the dress. The associate helping me brought over the manager to assist me. The manager went on questioning if I gained weight and if I ordered that dress size even though twice before I was in at the store getting measured. The manager insisted to measure me again and stated the size I really need is 2 sizes bigger. I questioned her and asked what size I was measured originally and what size I should have ordered. Come to find out my measurements were only slightly different today and should have been the same size they failed to order me in the first place. The manager continued to blame me when it was her staffs fault for measuring me correctly but ordering 2 sizes too small. Now the dress I ordered I cannot get in the correct size. Had to try on another dress again. The manager offered alterations I would have to pay for to make the dress the appropriate size, when their staff ordered the wrong size originally! Very poor service and lack of respect for customers. Manager on duty raised her voice at me numerous times. Will not recommended this place to anyone and will never buy a dress from the bridal store again. Very rude manager. read more

(this was the Monroe street one in toledo Ohio) I went here and tried on three dresses and found my dress. But after that they kept calling my name over the intercom to pay for my stuff. When I still had my maid of honor to find her dress. After she found it we had to wait around for my other bridesmaid to get there. Well the lady who helped me get on my dress went to lunch so at first they were not gonna let her try on dresses,but another lady helped us and she was a lot nicer than the lady originally. Well after my dress came in a tried it on, and the alterations lady shunned me after telling her that I wasn't going to get alterations done there it would of been 300 bucks! I can't afford that. She then went to help another bride not even caring about me. I was angry, because even though I didn't have an appointment she still should of payed a little more attention to me. My adivce is to go their only if it's the last place. Only giving it 3 stars because the of the dress I found. read more

Horrible. I went in to return an online item, shoes. I waited for about 3 minutes before anyone even acknowledged that I walked in the door. Then a nice lady came out to help me and was going to take me back to the shoes when the lady (at the time she had the fake gray hair) that must have been the manager reached up and pretty much tore the box out of the nice lady's hand and looked at me and scolded me for trying to return an item ESPECIALLY one that was from online "That's like trying to return something to Dillard's that's from Macy's." Well excuuuuuse me! So then I asked if it was okay if I still went back and looked at the shoe selection and she said "Sure, if you still want to." The nice lady had retreated in embarrassment at this time and the manager lady wasn't going to get up out of the chair to show me where they were. Luckily, I could see them on the wall. There was another woman back there unpacking shoes and I had to "shop" around her and she ignored the fact that I was even standing there. The whole time I was in there, no one came in and no one was there shopping. I will never be going to a David's Bridal again. I had the similar horrible experience at one in Columbus. read more
