We waited in line about 5-10 minutes, although there's not a lot of space for a line. The electronic menus inside don't work and we just guess based on a Yelp picture of a menu. The person said it would be about 15 minutes. After about 20 minutes we got our food and paid. There was a line to order and the phone kept ringing the whole time we were there. Also people talk on their phones loudly here. We got the stewed turkey, large. $10 And the fried pork. $12 Both with rice and beans. Both were pretty good and large for the price. The plantains were almost like hash browns. The turkey was almost in a curry but different. The sauce was also great for the rice and beans Based on the food quality and portion size, the rest of the business doesn't need to be a priority since they have quality food and lots of customers. I asked if they had just recently run out, and she said no -- which makes the entire situation even more frustrating. If you already knew you were out of an item, why have a customer drive all the way there just to place an order in person? A simple "we're out of that today" over the phone would have saved me the trip. The attitude from beginning to end was extremely rude and dismissive. I understand that people have bad days, but customers should not be made to feel like a nuisance for simply trying to spend their money at your establishment. And honestly, the restaurant was completely empty when I arrived. If you're trying to run a successful business and attract customers, treating the few customers who actually walk through your door with this kind of attitude is not the way to do it.
