Then 6 days after getting my nails done, the dip chipped on my nail and part of the dip broke off. I have NEVER had my nails break after 6 days. That is ridiculous. For paying as much as I did I expect these to last way longer. At other salons my nails last 3 weeks. The fact these could not even last 1 week under normal use is ridiculous. The technician seemed rushed and distracted the entire time. He began using the electric drill on powder that hadn't set properly, which caused chunks to come off. Rather than correcting the issue, he kept applying more activator in an attempt to cover it up. Eventually, when it became clear that he needed to start over, he used the drill again--this time damaging my natural nails. I told him I would need to leave once the dip was removed. But instead of focusing on finishing the job, he kept getting up to answer the phone and even stepped away to check customers out at the front desk. There were at least two or three other staff members available--including the owner--who could have handled those tasks, but no one stepped in. The only contact I made with them prior to my appointment was a phone call earlier in the day to set up the appointment for the pedi. From there, the only price "breakdown" given, was when they gave me a laminated sheet at the foot bath showing me the different pedicure price options. There was no communication regarding the additional $20 to add the acrylic overlay to 2 toes. The response to my review is also the first time I'm hearing of this $20 charge for the acrylic. Which, might I add, $20 for two toes is absurd. Now in regards to the "elementary" math.
