I had an appointment today for dip powder nails. Upon requesting extensions, which I believed had been communicated during booking, the technician seemed visibly annoyed by the additional work. The service provided by the male technician was incredibly rough and unprofessional. He forcefully adjusted my arm without asking and burned my fingers with nail glue. Despite informing him three times that it was burning, and knowing that nail glue should not cause a burning sensation, I was told to 'be patient.' He also excessively filed the skin around my fingers, causing irritation that is still happening hours later and I even told him it was getting irritated while he was filing. He also repeatedly slipped with the nail file, catching it jabbing under my nail, without offering any apology. Overall, this was a highly unpleasant and concerning experience. Given the lack of care and professionalism, I would strongly advise others to visit the nail place "Sugar Nails" which is only a minute away. read more

I gave this business a second chance, after the nail tech cut into several of my cuticles that left me bleeding. Unfortunately, their second chance did not turn out as a positive experience. The same nail tech cut into my cuticles on 4 fingers!!! It has been 2 days since my manicure there, and my fingers are still raw and painful when warm water runs over them, or if it comes into contact with any hard surfaces! I am needing to bandage these fingers to protect them, and allow them to heal. I was hoping for a positive experience but unfortunately, it did not turn out that way. No more - I will need to find another place for my mani and pedi. read more

Wonderful! My basic pedicure took about 30 minutes because the nail tech really took her time, which I appreciate. The kind of detail where the cuticle clippers and nail polish remover keep coming back out :) I could tell that all the techs around me were also working meticulously. Also, no obnoxious TV on the wall, classical music, CLEAN, and a lovely little dog. Very professional and relaxing. Highly recommend! read more

Well not sure where to begin...but if your nails don't hold up with in the week you get them done be prepared to pay to have them fixed! I had 3 nail that the color was chipping off. one of which also broke the nail twice. seeing how I had just had then done I stopped in to show the girl. To start with she kept telling me to pick a color no clue she had done my nails a few days before. ( not the first time either). I kept telling her I wanted to show her something. she kept repeating herself. Finally got her to listen. I showed her the problems and asked why they were doing this. No answer. SO she fixed the 3 nails. which by the way my own nails are now very thin from the way they do this. She says okay all set. so not wanting to be an ass I asked if I own her anything and guess what. I DID. Im very good with my nails and never really break them. THe product chipped off and then the nail broke. BUt I have never heard of a place charging for this in the same week of being done. I got a pedicure and a manicure here. The pedicure was fine, but the lady that did my manicure did nothing but insult me. She said my cuticles were dry and crusty (ok, maybe they're a little dry, but they aren't THAT bad), she said that she didn't like the color that I picked and that it wasn't doing anything for me, and then she said if I didn't like it she wasn't going to redo it. I never said anything about disliking the color I picked, I obviously picked it because I liked it. I was expecting to feel relaxed coming here, not be insulted. read more

Whenever I'm visiting the parents, I make sure to stop in for a manicure at Creative Nails. The salon is incredibly clean, I've been countless times for manicures and pedicures. I do recommend calling ahead for an appointment, it gets pretty busy in the afternoons and on the weekends. The owner does speak English quite well, language barrier has never been an issue here. I have a MAJOR bone to pick with this place. I got a pedi and a fill. The pedicure is NOT worth 32 dollars! I've said it once before and I'll say it again, I'm very sensitive to hot water. The water was way too hot and they kind of looked at me a little bizarre, but they understood and added cold water. Then she didn't even file my feet and work any of the calluses. No scrub for the legs. Basically washed my feet, trimmed my nails, and used lotion. Let's get started on my fill, shall we. The tech burned my finger tips countless times filing my nails down. At one point I jerked my hand back because it really hurt and then she got mad at me because she proceeded to cut herself in the process. I broke a nail prior and instead of gluing a fake nail to my natural nail, she decided to put gel mountain on my nail. That was incredibly frustrating considering it's SUPER crooked. My friend was also getting a fill at the same time, she had hers started after mine and they were finished way before mine. All the nails are very inconsistent as far as thick and thinness goes and one nail has a dip to it. The lady also painted my nails very messily, meaning my finger tips have polish all over them and the sides. read more

I have been going to Creative Nails since Andy and his family had taken over. The salon is clean and follow all covid guidelines. They take the time to decorate for every holiday and have a great mix of music so if you want to unwind and relax during a pedi-mani, this is the place. I received a great shellac manicure today. The salon is clean, the staff are friendly, and you feel welcomed the moment you walk in the door. It's better to make an appointment here rather than walk-in because they are mostly booked. My only complaint is the price for the gel manicure - $38! I haven't paid that much for a gel mani (even at high end salons). I don't think I received anything special for the price of this mani. Most other salons charge $25-30. Unfortunately, I don't think I can make this my "go-to" spot because of their pricing. read more

I've gone here a few times to have pedicures/manicures for special occasions and have usually been very happy with the results until my latest visit. Since I don't know anyone's name I can't request someone that I've been happy with (or they are no longer there) so it's a new person every visit. The latest girl was terrible. She gave the fastest pedicure ever and did everything in the weirdest order. When I asked if she was going to trim my cuticles and clean my nails she looked at me as if I was asking for something unusual, then laughed and said of course.....and then didn't do it!!! When I asked her the second time she was all ready to put my polish on. She did end up trimming but not very well. On this visit I also noticed the floor was covered with clipped nails and other debri. Since the shop was not very busy and there were technicians standing around I couldn't understand why no one was sweeping the floor. I would imagine this should be done often during the course of the day as clipped nails fly everywhere! This was a real turn off for me. I will probably go back again but I will try to request a specific person, or try to request I not have a specific person. If the floor is dirty though that will be my last visit. read more

I am usually very satisfied with my services however I went last night my pedicure was great but my manicure terrible. My nails are way shorter than expected I was cut and most importantly the pedicure took longer than expected so then they rushed to get me out so they could leave on time and close. Always clean and girls who work here are so sweet. Not sure what they do but the manis/pedis last forever- usually a good 7-10 days even with dishes daily and digging in the garden. Shellac lasts more like 2-3 weeks (just change because nails grow). Also, the little dog who lives here is basically a celebrity lol read more

I have literally been a customer here for years and have even moved out of town and still come to Creative Nails in East Hampton. The owner Yuna is amazing and always maintains a clean safe environment and she cares about her clients. They offer manicures, pedicures, Gels, Shellacs, etc. Always up to date on all processes and they have a huge array of colors. Pedicures are either "regular" or "spa" treatments and you always regardless get a massage plus a scrub plus lotions and hot stone treatment just because this shoppe goes the extra mile for every single customer. I honestly have never seen anyone unhappy with their service. I normally get a French Gel Manicure and it lasts for weeks without being "thick" or unnatural. I have tried others on vacations or after first moving but this place is worth a 30 minute drive. Talk to your technician, tell them what you like and don't like and you will be a very happy camper.
